So I went to ICC HM in order to get the music roll, but the Lich King dropped a stupid horse instead. What the hell Blizzard, I just want a simple music rool. I was so mad I deleted the damn useless horse. And I still don't have my roll.

How to get it:

Invincible is a pretty bold name for a music track, let alone a horse.

Travel to 寒冰皇冠 in Northrend, enter the 冰冠城塞 raid instance, and defeat the final boss 巫妖王.

The song Invincible is a reference to the name of the horse owned by the human paladin prince 阿薩斯 Menethil. 無敵的 died and was laid to rest in Tirisfal Glades, but later brought back from the dead by the prince after he acquired the cursed sword Frostmourne and assumed the mantle of the Lich King. Lucky players can get 無敵的韁繩 by heroically defeating the Lich King on his highest difficulties.

Ran ICC 25m yesterday with my gf. Invincible dropped and she won the mount as well as the music roll. I can't even begin to understand how small of a chance that is. She just sits in her garrison on Invincible and listens to the music roll on repeat

Just to clarify: while of course the drop rate isn't as terribly low as it is indicated (because, naturally, this never dropped in older expansions, so all the older kills of LK never had a chance for this), it's still not 100%. How rare exactly I don't know, but don't be surprised if it doesn't drop on your first attempt. Or the second. Or the third.

Still much easier to get than the mount of the same name though.

Edit: Judging by my own experience as well as those of others I asked, the drop rate for this (and probably most other rolls) appears to be 40-50%. This is just an estimation based on personal information gathering though, so don't take it at face value.

12 kills since the patch and it hasn't dropped for me yet. Wonder if it will before 6.2. It's the last thing I'm missing from the collection, excluding the Gurubashi Arena one.

had it drop for me on wednesday 13th may 2015, been wanting the mount since i first started playing, never seen that drop but got this on my 15th mount run, i cant lie i had and have mixed feelings about in a way being so close and yet so far from having invincible (its the perfect mount for the undead witch transmog im planning for my warlock) but getting the one thing rarer however the music is amazing i dont know if other players can use my garrison jukebox but im going to start having listening parties :)

Took 8 kills for me. 7 were 25m Heroic. Today it dropped on 25 Normal. Just luck (as I've seen it posted here that it drops on Heroic), but I wanted to let people know it drops on 25 Normal too (didn't see a post for it).

If you are Horde, this song is pretty much sends you back to WotLK times, you climb to the highest tower in your garrison, this song starts playing and you just stare into the frozen wastes, snow falling over. You hope to see some frost wyrms in the distance, as well as endless waves of undead running rampant like an insect swarm, devouring everything in their path. If you are Alliance, the landscape may not be ideal but you can still delve deep into the memories.

You remember the times of Icecrown Citadel, of Wrath Gate, the fall of Dranosh Saurfang and your encounter with him, grieving cry of Varok Saurfang echoing through accursed halls of the citadel. Your encounter with countless undead in the raid dungeon, hearing Lich King taunt you step by step as you progress towards him. Sindragosa's ugly voice echoes in your mind.

And you finally climb atop the Frozen Throne, seeing that Arthas awaits you there. You remember Tirion Fordring's uselessness by remembering his human passive in the last second. You remember him shattering Frostmourne into thousand pieces, freed souls having their vengeance on Arthas as you move in to deal the final blow and the ending cinematic.

You remember the peak of World of Warcraft has ever achieved to be. This song stands as a testament to the best expansion Blizzard ever made to this game. Sadly, the downfall began right after this.

Whatever happens, we will always remember what WoW was used to be, how great memories we've had playing this game, especially when it was THIS good. And this song brings back such memories, such tears in eyes.

Then this song ends and you portal to Volmar... to grind mindless reputation to get flying in Draenor.

So, last week I got myself a Jukebox. A little late but still xD
So I just casualy went to ICC 25HC for weekly Invincible kill.....
And then this thing drops. I didnt pay any attention to it. Got a feeling like a pet droped. Who would have known its a whooping 1.9% drop chance. Mount is 1.3%..... Id take a mount instead please.
But still, music Is just.... Jawdroping at least.
And I know this post is not giving any valuable info. Just wanted to share.

Now the explanation...
Wowhead lists the item as having a ~2% chance to drop but it's actually taking into account all the kills registered since it was launched in WotLK, not those since patch 6.1 was released in late february 2015. So using Internet Archive we can see this...

66 weeks have passed since 6.1 and we can see that the average is far from that 1.9% that Wowhead reports.
If you take into account that many people goes 25h for getting the mount and they won't get the roll dropping after they get it, the 25h data is quite biased, so just looking at the total minus 25h data, you can see that it is solidly over 10%. Even considering that some of those kills won't qualify for the drop and that seems that there's some inverse relation between difficulty and chances it's fair to accept that the chances are a bit higher and probably might be 12.5% (1/8).
