I'm not entirely sure why they made this an agility sword. As currently configured, it appears to be ideal for only dual-wielding windwalker monks and combat rogues, which is a relatively narrow niche.

On the other hand, strength-seeking DPS players do have the 無頭騎士恐怖兜帽 to shoot for, so it isn't as though they are left in the cold.

Perhaps next year we'll see it itemized with Strength, Agility and Intellect under the new gearing system, so it will be more versatile. In the meantime, still great for transmogging.

This item has existed with the same itemization for years now. People complaining about it need to learn how holiday items work. The stats never change, except when a certain stat is removed from the game. Like Hit and Expertise just were.

Hunters used to need melee weapons for stats. It was hunters and rogues who used 1h agility swords. Now monks can use them instead of hunters, so its still just two classes that get use out of this item.

No different than the plate helm that non-plate classes don't get any use from.

Is it possible to get this item as a mage? (for transmog) I'm not entirely familiar with the current loot system. Might save me some time running pugs for it if it turns out that it won't even show up for me.

The sword has a proc that summons 3 pumpkins that cast and use a basic attack, each hitting for about 300 (tested on an ilvl 509 fury warrior). They seem to be considered guardians, so they only attack if you are attacked. The boost in dps is low, especially since it has a 10min CD, so it is more of a cosmetic effect.

Ok, so I got this on my Windwalker Monk, which is cool. What can I pair with it? (other than another of itself)? Someone suggested 'baleful axe of the something or other, you can buy it from the birdguy in lion's watch', but what they sell (of course, I knew this, but had to go look) is 'baleful armament' and I've *never* had one of those drop anything other than pole-arms. How can I get it to drop a one-handed item? Or can someone else suggest something useful?

As a rogue (and probably other classes), I have no use for this weapon as I have the artifact weapons. I guess it can be a transmog goal but it is not that great for that, either. Would be great if there was another item that would summon the pumpkins.

It may not be important but this item can drop from the Loot-Stuffed Pumpkin as well. I just got this beautiful sword for transmog on my lvl 63 death knight (it also dropped for my friend's lvl 42 resto shaman).

Why is this still Agility only the rest of our weapons use whatever main stat that weapon type uses, there are INt and Str classes that use 1h swords, they need to update this item to not be rogue and DH only.

Beware if you try to disenchant the item! At character level 120, it yields a number of 大塊魔光裂片s. So if you're not interested in trasmogrify, vendor it for the full gold price.

Wowhead says it only drops for Rogues, Monks and Demon Hunters.

But the Saber used to drop for Hunters and Pallys!

Open up the drops please Blizzard, every class deserves angry flaming pumpkin pets!
