This is a must-get for people planning to twink a gnome character in the 20-29 bracket. Slap a constitution libram on it and you're up 250 hp with a pretty nice ability too. Also of note is that the rocket effect can climb up hills that you wouldn't normally be able to climb such as the cliffs at the WSG graveyards.

so this is unavailable for 29 twinks unless your a gnome is that correct? im an undead rogue trying to get this but it won't let me go past 225 engineering at level 29. does anyone know how to get this in my situation? and if so where do i train it or whatever?

When this fails to work, it will not do the charge effect, It will simply say fizzled. I thought it would still charge but just the stun would be resisted.

I believe that after knocking someone, you are removed from combat so that you can change to a better helm. But i'm not sure about this. May be wrong . . .

This thing, is still very usefull around level 58-ish outlandish, if used correctly with the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23827. I used to do this combo alot on my mage while I was around hellfire questing, Used it all the way from 30 to 59 I think. saved my life numerous times vs gankers aswell. Lovely helm, has a spot in my bank forever. Engineering <3

My favorite thing to do with this is to use it on something that is either really really big or really really small. Either way, it is pretty funny looking.

If you use it on a rabbit or a squirel or whatever and someone else is watching, all they will see is something really really funny. They see some random person charge head on at a little bittie critter and WHAM! get knocked over when they hit it.

Another fun one is to use it on giants. Makes it look like a really stupid kind of charge. You charge at this giant monstrosity, expecting to knock it over and BAM! you hit it and get knocked on your butt, while the giant doesn't even flinch. Looks like running into a brick wall!

The Goblin Rocket Helmet is Bind when Equipped, but the Goblin Construction Helmet that is used as a reagent is Bind when Picked Up. Does this mean that the Goblin Rocket Helmet cannot be traded, or simply that the crafter will need to build his or her own Goblin Construction Helmet?

If you are a rogue and have this, you can amaze people with your impressive "double sap" skill. Simply sap one target, then use this on another one, making it possible to incapacitate two targets at the same time!

This will lead to the general resounding appreciation of nearby group members or onlookers, possible cereal endoursement and money grants, and the frequently obtained title of "hacker".

The final Goblin Rocket Helmet *is* tradeable. If you are not a Goblin Engineer, just gather the mats for both the Goblin Construction Helmet and the Goblin Rocket Helmet, find a Goblin Engineer and give them the mats. The first helm will be BoP but is immediately used as a reagent for the final helm, which remains BoE.

I just did this with my lowly level 21 gnome rogue engineer and successfully received the final BoE Goblin Rocket Helmet. In fact I've had both some gnomish and goblin engineers make stuff for me since many specialization items only require regular engineering skill to use, and at 240 engineering at level 20-29, you can get a fair amount of cool toys for PvP twinking.

For anybody interested in looking like a Space Cadet, there are two sets of armors that'll help you out, and they're both cloth, so anybody can equip it.

Green - Shimmering cloth set.

Blue - Sage's cloth set.

They're both green-leveled cloth sets you'll usually find while questing on your lowbies, or find them in the AH. Suit up, and reach for the stars.

I wish there were more models of the rocket helmet, maybe with different colors, etc, but most importantly, with different armor proficiencies. Would love to run into dungeons dressed as a space marine/astronaut on my characters, but sadly none of them wear cloth.
