Why Should I Earn Renown with the Iskaara Tuskarr?

Access to Community Feasts, an event where you help the Tuskarr create a delicious soup, granting Iskaara Tuskarr reputation and a world buff;

Access to many mechanics to improve Fishing, such as FIshing Holes and Fishing equipment to help you find even more fish;

Access to nomadic Tuskarr-themed ensembles and weapon transmogs.

Fishing and Iskaara Tuskarr Renown釣魚Farming Iskaara Tuskarr RenownIMPORTANT: You need 2500 Reputation for 1 Renown with the Iskaara Tuskarr.

Completing Iskaara Tuskarr World Quests as they spawn;

Gathering treasures to find 神聖巨牙海民圖騰 and turning these in;

Participating in Community Feast events as they spawn in Iskaara;

Joining the fishing crew at Fishing Holes and completing their dailies;

Completing Iskaara Tuskarr questlines as you earn Renown with them;

Turning in fish at Fishing Holes for the weekly Catch and Release quests (these can be done more than once a week, but rep values are severely reduced after the first weekly turn in per type of fish).

Each location has two quests, a net and restock. Only one net quest can be done per day (i.e. if you do the Net in Waking Shore, you will not have a net quest at plains). The restock quest can be done once a day at every location.

For Hunters -- At Renown 11 you will get 馴服巨獺 when you complete 打鐵趁熱 at the end of the The Chieftain's Duty quest chain.

This is also Account Wide reward. You do not need to get it for each hunter on your account.

Somehow today that I hit renown 27, the game ^&*! my map full of tackleboxes and seemingly cannibalizing every other treasure. I rarely see expedition bags, dirts and magic bound chests. 99% is tacklebox now which is a pain, because they don't give sparks of life for the weekly or rep tokens. Only a fish and some vendor trash. Luckily the other 3 reps are maxed, so I don't NEED them, but it's still pissing me off.

If you get bored at some point grinding the reputation, you can always buy fish from AH. One renown level costs about 60-100k (when you buy more it gets higher.) 1000 fishes give you 250 rep, so you are going to need to buy 10000 fishes in total for one Renown.

I did the weekly cooking and done. just repeated the event and got 640 rep. So keep doing the events even when the weekly is done

No longer a "community" event as now if you show up late you cant do the NEW "5 tasks" which killing the boss, siring the pot and kicking items back in the pot DO NOT COUNT. Now its b there b 4 it starts or dont go at all.

Here are the instructions how to do this easily and properly. You follow the timer of the feast on the front page of wowhead. The feast happens at Iskaara every three and a half hours. You stand next to the pot when the event starts and you wait for instructions. After you get an instruction to do something you do it and you complete one task in the feast. After you have completed one task you can get the quest Community Feast from Pleeqi to complete five tasks. This is a weekly quest. After completing a task you just wait there for the next. Just a side note, when you are ordered to buy something from an NPC you see his / her location on the minimap. After the timer reaches 0:00, the Master Chef yells "here is the soup, come and get it" and Bisquius comes out of the soup so you have to kill him and loot him, and the event ends. This is the whole event and it's a great way to get reputation for the Aiding the Accord weekly quest.

okay, i need to know if anyone else experienced this or am i the only one and i should simply delete my character. basically i can't buy the renown items at the quartermaster. i mean, i can only after i hit the next level of renown. for example: i hit 25 renown, i wanted to buy the two ottuk mounts - can't. it says items are locked and i need to be renown 25 first. and it's been like this since the very beginning. i just KNOW that once i hit 30 renown i won't be able to buy the cooler mounts available at renown 30. i don't have this issue with any other reputation in DF. if anyone knows a fix for this, i'd appreciate it, because my ticket has been hanging in the purgatory for weeks now without a response.

Will Wowhead address their timer issues? I was standing at the pot for the community feast before the precise time when the page here said it would be starting and nothing. Not only nothing, but someone told me the 'boss' died 15 minutes beforehand. What's the point of your timers if they aren't correct at all?

I'm sorry but delicious soup? It's just a bunch of random ingredients thrown into a pot, I am convinced Big Kinook has no idea what he's doing and has no right to be anywhere near kitchen it is amazing the Tuskarr there are still alive if they are reliant on his cooking.

Pro tip on the weeks when the Community Feast is part of the weekly:

Run your alts through Valdrakken to pick up the weekly quest, fly them out to Iskaara, and park them in the Filled Bowl inn.

If you don't care about picking up Pleeqi's five quests per alt, you can get at least 5 alts their weekly feast credit by running them out of the inn long enough to get an assignment, then running them back into the inn.

If you do care about gettign Pleeqi's five quests in, I've gotten at least 3 alts through the five quests within one soup session, and occasionally 4 alts.

I think the Feast has been changed since this page was written - it happens every 90 minutes, on the 12:30, 2:00, 3:30, 5:00, 6:30, 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 marks, both AM and PM.

In case anyone is curious, and since I can't find a better place to post this information, I'll post it here...

This is the text that is shown when players get the instructions to "taste the soup and report your findings back to 大仔金努克":

(I'll update as I get more information, since he only lets you complete the dialogue options once -- so it will take several Feasts to get all the options recorded)

The bubbling of the soup stands before you, its aroma getting better by the minute. Big Kinook has offered you the rare opportunity to taste this soup before it's finished.

You'd better not mess this up.

<Sniff the soup.>
<Taste the soup.>

Instantaneously, your mouth is coated with the richest, fishiest broth you have ever experienced. Flavors you once thought impossible are revealed to you as the unctuous bits of ocean critter sail past your tongue. You dream of the sea, of your childhood, and of Azeroth's future all at once.

Yeah, it's pretty good.

<Now give the soup a good sniff.>
<Take another taste, this time more carefully.>

A second taste reveals that the soup... WHILE AMAZING... has some distinct areas of opportunity.

First, there's something off about the flavor profile. The seasoning is excellent, and there aren't any unpleasant flavors, but there's just... something.

The mouthfeel could also be better. Is it too thick? Too slimy? Too... wiggly? Further investigation is required.

Aha! There it is.

Pinching your nose has removed all aromas, really allowing you to really focus on flavor. You can detect a bit of sourness which - while interesting - is not what this soup needs. Not today.

A bit of cream will buffer out that acid and bring the soup back into balance.

Again, I will update this with the text I get from the other options as I do more Feasts and get this set of instructions! :)

If someone is doing the renown after warbands were introduced in TWW pre-patch

At renown 11 you can get the quest "A Lost Tribe"

This is a pretty short quest chain which net you 2500 rep token on completion.

I did it on my toons + I submitted the Catch and Release: fishes

+ 500 rep for community feast quest completion.

Basically you can get renown super-duper fast

FYI if you're looking for recipes to level past 50 Dragon Isles Cooking, you do not need to be Renown 11 to get the Encroaching Heat quest. I found the quest from Hard-Boiled Fish at /way #2022 53.1 35.3. I had to do a few quests to make the quest available, but you do not need to be Renown 11 anymore. I was able to pick it up at Renown 4.
