But then the Iron Horde came, trapping the behemoth and attempting to break his will. They were entirely unsuccessful...that is, until the rise of 古爾丹, and the fel power that 寇姆洛克 could not resist.

In general, the lower floor of 地獄火堡壘 reflects the Iron Horde as it was before the influence of 古爾丹, whereas the upper reaches reflect the Shadow Council and the Legion more directly. Alongside siege machinery, the massive beasts of 格古隆德 were the other lynchpin of the Iron Horde's invasion force, so it should come as little surprise that 古爾丹 would seek to corrupt and empower them with fel energies.跳躍

寇姆洛克 leaps through the air and then splashes down in the nearest pool. 寇姆洛克 will not Leap to a pool that he has Leapt into recently.

On Mythic Difficulty, residue is sent out from the pool that 寇姆洛克 jumped into that needs to be soaked.

The following 4 abilities comes from the 跳躍.

暗影能量
寇姆洛克 absorbs 暗影能量, empowering the next 4 uses of his 魔化奔湧 ability.

炸裂能量

寇姆洛克 absorbs 炸裂能量, empowering the next 4 uses of his 爆炸符文 ability.

邪惡能量

寇姆洛克 absorbs 邪惡能量, empowering the next 4 uses of his 抓握之手 ability.

噴濺

Mythic only ability that needs to be soaked by players.

Liquid in the pool splashes out onto the ground, leaving behind residue that will damage players who stand in the residue. Players can absorb the initial splashes, keeping the ground beneath them clear from residue.

猛擊

Requires the raid to stay spread out.

寇姆洛克 slams the ground repeatedly, creating shockwaves under all players that inflict 62,016 Physical damage to all enemies within 4 yards every second.

魔化奔湧

Waves of globules that needs to be dodged.

寇姆洛克 slams the ground, causing Shadowy Pool to spew forth globules. Victims caught in the path of the globules suffer 180,410 Shadowy damage.

(!) When empowered, this ability causes all three pools to send out globules.

爆炸符文

寇姆洛克 creates Explosive Runes on the ground. If these runes aren't triggered within 15 sec they will explode, inflicting 263,250 to 276,750 Fire damage to all enemies.
Triggering the rune results in a smaller explosion, inflicting 202,500 Fire damage to the triggering player.

(!) When empowered you need to think twice before soaking it. You want to aim it towards another rune and try to merge them as it's the only way to get rid of them.

抓握之手

寇姆洛克 summons several stone hands under the feet of his enemies, inflicting 50,000 Physical damage to all enemies with 4 yards of the victim. These hands hold the victim in place until they are killed.
While held, the victim suffers 60,750 Physical damage every 3 sec.

(!) When empowered, 拖曳之手 will pull you towards the nearest pool.

Mutating Hatred

寇姆洛克 will use different abilities against his current tank target based on the last pool he leapt into. Getting hit with any of these abilities afflicts the victim with 魔化之觸.

The following 4 abilities you need to be aware of as a tank.

怒擊
寇姆洛克 knocks the target backwards, inflicting 435,017 Shadowy damage. When the victim lands, they suffer damage inversely proportional to the distance they traveled.

The victim is afflicted with 魔化之觸.

炸裂爆發

寇姆洛克 ignites the ground beneath the target's feet and stuns them. After 10 seconds the ground explodes, inflicting 412,461 Fire damage to all players within 40 yards.

The victim is afflicted with 魔化之觸.

邪惡碎擊

寇姆洛克 summons a Foul Hand underneath the target. The victim is immediately grabbed and crushed for 83,523 Physical damage every 1 second until the hand is destroyed.

The victim is afflicted with 魔化之觸.

魔化之觸

The victim is afflicted with Fel energies, increasing the magical damage they take by 50%.

Enrage

寇姆洛克 enrages, gaining 30% haste.

寇姆洛克 will use his abilities faster while enraged.,

Raid SetupTanks: 2

All of the tanks are viable.

Healers: 3-4

There isn't much damage on this encounter except when he does 猛擊, which you cooldown through.

If you want to play it safe and you have enough dps, then you can play it safe with 4 healers. Although for most guilds we would recommend 3 healers to meet the dps requirement.

DPS: 14-15

All dps are viable.

It's recommended to have some classes with high AoE burst damage such as warriors with Bladestorm to quickly kill the 抓握之手.

It's also recommended to have 2-3 rogues to deal with the 爆炸符文.

Execution

Start of the encounter by pulling him towards the orange pool to get him to leap into it. Once he leaps into the pool, the raid needs to be ready to soak the residue that will spew out from it. It looks like this.

It's very important that you soak enough of them and in the middle of the room, as otherwise you will have nowhere to stand and it will make it a billion times more difficult to execute the encounter.

We recommend you to use the addon Exorsus Raid Tools to easy assign soaking spots. The addon will give each player an arrow which indicates where they need to stand.

The following is a picture of the addon in-action, and you should assign something similar for your raid.

強力爆炸符文佯攻暗影披風

The runes spawns in a circle around the exact middle of the room, and the rogues will want to start at the same location. One rogue will run clockwise and the other one counter-clockwise. And they will meet up on the opposite side, and if everything was done correctly you will get rid of every 爆炸符文.

It's very important when doing this soaking that you always soak it with the character facing the next rune. Also it's important that nobody else soaks any of the runes as it will only make the rogue's job more difficult.

You will want to swap tank for each of the tank abilities; 怒擊, 炸裂爆發, 邪惡碎擊. Which causes 魔化之觸.

For 炸裂爆發 make sure that you bring the boss to the side, so the raid can run to the other side to avoid the AoE damage.

Class Tips死亡騎士

You can use 反魔法護罩 to abuse the residue from the leap.

It's also smart to save 反魔法護罩 for 魔化奔湧 + 猛擊 at the same time, so that you can immune the globules and save space for others to stand on.

Unholy is recommended while progressing here if you are having troubles killing the hands. If not, play Frost.

Shadow Priest

Pre-cast 輝環 on the 抓握之手 on a good distance and grip yourself into melee with the glyph and cast .

獵人

You can help the rogues with 威懾 if you know how to deal with the 爆炸符文.

Save focus for 抓握之手 so you have enough for 彈幕 as MM or 彈幕 + 獸劈斬 as BM.

德魯伊

Use 奔竄咆哮 each time the raid has to soak the residue.

獸性位移 can help you dodge the globules.

Play Destruction or Demonology to quickly AoE down the 抓握之手
