Lunar Festival for Level 1 Twinks

stopped updating
these guides as they had effectively been rendered useless. There have been some other changes since then, such as the removal of the summoning guild perk and additional achievements/passenger mounts being added, but as I no longer update these guides they
no longer contain correct information

. I felt the need to emphasise on this, because for some reason Wowhead keeps bumping these guides to the latest patch, implying that they're valid for current content - which they're certainly not. This might lead people to believe I still consider these guides relevant, which absolutely isn't the case. I'd like to ask people not to vote/comment thinking this is an updated guide with awful information, but simply see it as something nice from older times that I just can't bring myself to delete. :) Thank you.)
If you saw the title of this guide and find yourself wondering "what on earth is a level 1 twink?", then first let me explain the concept a little. A level 1 twink is a character whose xp gain you have frozen so that it can never go beyond level 1 (to do this, visit

), after which you try to improve this character as far as you can within the limits of being only level 1. Many people will try to deck their twink in the best possible gear, so that they can kick the hindside of other characters of a higher level. However, what you can also do is try to obtain as many achievements as possible, allowing you access to titles or perhaps even certain unique items (such as the
探險者外袍
). In my World Event guides I will list every achievement associated with this event and tell you how to get it with your level 1 twink, if at all possible.
Before Starting
Two very useful methods to get your twink around (and which I will be referring to often in my guides) are almost essential in order to get some of these achievements. Try to get connected with people who have access to either of these methods:
a summons
a Warlock's

a friend linked to you through the RAF program
in some situations, a Mage's
portals
a passenger mount
the motorcycle, crafted by engineering (

the mammoth sold by the Sons of Hodir once you are exalted with them (

. Since the level requirement for this quest is 40, you're not able to pick up this quest.
Obtainable Achievements

To obtain a

, you'll need to honour one of the
Elders
by talking to them. As a token of gratitude for your respect, they'll give you one such coin.
大災變區域的長者

Some of the Elders for this achievement can't be reached without help from a friend or guildie. Ask someone to summon you to the Temple of Earth in Deepholm (for example by using
), because that's the only way for you to enter that zone. The Elder in Vashj'ir is also a bit hard to reach on your own, especially since you risk drowning. For the other Elders it's best if you can find a friend or guildie with a passenger mount (preferably a flying one), so that they can help you reach the NPCs without being shred to bits by the mobs in the zone. Alternatively you could use the various flight paths, provided you've discovered them all previously (like when you were exploring the zones in order to get
世界探險家
) and try to walk from the flight master to the Elder. Good luck then. You'll need it.

The easiest way to reach all these Elders is by finding a friend or guildie with a passenger mount, who can easily transport you from one Elder to another. This is especially useful for those Elders that are found near NPCs of the opposing faction (example:

in Tirisfal Glades). Alternatively you could use the various flight paths, provided you've discovered them all previously (like when you were exploring the zones in order to get

) and try to walk from the flight master to the Elder. Good luck then. You'll need it.

The easiest way to reach all these Elders is by finding a friend or guildie with a passenger mount, who can easily transport you from one Elder to another. This is especially useful for those Elders that are found near NPCs of the opposing faction (example:

in Teldrassil). Alternatively you could use the various flight paths, provided you've discovered them all previously (like when you were exploring the zones in order to get
世界探險家
) and try to walk from the flight master to the Elder. Good luck then. You'll need it.
北裂境的長者

Some of the Elders for this achievement can't be reached without help from a friend or guildie. Ask someone to fly or summon you to Coldarra, the isolated area in the NW corner of Borean Tundra, because you cannot reach
諾爾索長者
otherwise if you didn't previously pick up the flight path. The same goes for
法爾高長者
, who is located in Frosthold in the Storm Peaks. For the other Elders it's best if you can find a friend or guildie with a passenger mount (preferably a flying one), so that they can help you reach the NPCs without being shred to bits by the mobs in the zone. Alternatively you could reach Northrend by boat/zeppelin and then use the various flight paths, provided you've discovered them all previously (like when you were exploring the zones in order to get
世界探險家
) and try to walk from the flight master to the Elder. Good luck then. You'll need it.
One of these Elders deserve a special mention, because it's rather tricky to reach him:
藍狼長者
is located inside the fortress of Wintergrasp. To reach this Elder you'll definitely need the help of a friend or guildie with either a passenger mount or a summons, because you can't enter Wintergrasp on your own. And then you're not even inside the fortress yet. The only legit way to enter this fortress is by waiting until either your faction controls the zone, or until the opposing faction controls the zone with the main door destroyed during the previous fight. In any other case, there'll be a big solid door preventing you from going in. But wait! It seems there's a glitch in place that allows you to pass through the wall, as mentioned by
Dakuna
on the page of this Elder.
聯盟的長者

Ridiculously easy for Alliance twinks, ridiculously hard for Horde twinks. Alliance can simply use the public transportation means to fly/sail/ride to the capital cities, or ask a Mage to make some portals. Horde will need to grab a few people to help them, who can summon/fly you into the enemy's capital city and then distract the hostile NPCs while your twink quickly talks to the Elder.

Ridiculously easy for Horde twinks, ridiculously hard for Alliance twinks. Horde can simply use the public transportation means to fly/sail/ride to the capital cities, or ask a Mage to make some portals. Alliance will need to grab a few people to help them, who can summon/fly you into the enemy's capital city and then distract the hostile NPCs while your twink quickly talks to the Elder.

s, who can be found near the assembled Lunar Festival NPCs in any capital city as well as Moonglade. The achievement requires 10 to be fired within 30 seconds, but if you're having latency issues then you'd best buy a few more. Since these firecrackers won't disappear after the event is over, you can save those you still have after getting the achievement and have some fun with them later on!

, who can be found in Moonglade. Note that the currency used for these outfits is

for ; each faction can only buy one of these pets, however. Lucky for you, they're BoE! So to get both these pets, you'll need to roam the neutral AH or have friends on the opposing faction who will sell/give/trade you the other pet, which they're able to buy.
