Destruction excels at dealing large hits through 混沌箭 and very strong cleave damage through 浩劫. Destruction is by nature a relatively simple spec to play, but with a different 靈魂裂片 system than Affliction and Demonology, the playstyle is quite different.

Do not overcap on Soul Shards - Soul Shards are your resource and are limited to a max of 5. Destruction's Soul Shards resource is different from Affliction and Demonology, as all our shards are split into 10 Soul Shard fragments. We have great control over generating and spending this resource, so make sure you're aware of having Soul Shards when you need them, while not wasting any Soul Shards by overcapping.

Managing cooldowns - Properly managing your cooldowns, such as 浩劫 and 召喚煉獄火, will make a big difference in how much damage you're doing. Making sure you have the correct amount of Soul Shards before using these, and making sure you don't lose out on any uses, is a big difference maker between high DPS and low DPS.

Movement - When you're moving around, you only have very few ways to deal damage. You can play around with always casting abilities such as 焚燒 while running, but odds are you're going to lose out on DPS. Playing movement segments correctly will be a big difference maker. Using abilities like 惡魔法陣 and 惡魔之門 properly will help you with that.

What?

- We're almost at the very bottom of the current raid dps charts, just check the front page here on wowhead. It's the same in other charts I've seen today.
- I'm often asked why I play a spec with such a poor dps output.
- I don't pug anymore, because I'm tired of being refused to join, since I play the "wrong spec", which is also a major reason why I don't do M+.

A very low percentage of warlocks plays destro, and poor dps is probably why. I love the spec and refuse to change it, but we're NOT "competing on a top-level".

Dear Blizz if you think that playing Destro in Raiding is fun when everyone one is doing 10 or 12k dps and i'm stuck on 7k with Same ilvl or even higher than you have no idea what is fun. Even getting better gear doesn't feel any better. So what you did write Single Target is GOOD Nooooo ST is dead even to switch to Demo want Help me that much. So thanks Blizz for nothing i will Just delete my Destro 255ilvl char From Game..

Why is Neltharion's Call to Dominance listed as BiS in the Overview, but listed as B-tier in the BiS Gear tab? That's completely contradictory, does anyone actually check anything before posting?

Are there 2 tier sets fo warlocks in seaason3 - Spliced Fiendtrader's Influence and Inquisitor's Feast of Madness? Which is preferable?

Why would we recommend the diabolist m+ talents on this cheat sheet, instead of the HC?
Secondly, on the talents page, why do we take Explosive Potential over mayhem in the M+ AOE (HC) setup, and Fiendish Stride over having an okayish CC with Shadowfury,

This might be a stupid question, but why is Dimensional Rift never played in destru ? The spell seems not as bad in himself.

Hi all,

Is it me or is health funnel removed? I tried to heal my voidwalker when I realised that the spell is gone?
Was this intentional or did it slip through the cracks?

There is no mention of it in any posts from Blizzard with the pre patch changes?

Anybody heard or read something about it?

Terrible dungeon build btw, you want to be using Cataclysm, Lake of Fire and Inferno at the very least. Shadowburn is bad.
