Demonology Warlock Overview
Demonology Warlocks are known to be masters of demons, constantly summoning new Dreadstalkers and Wild Imps, while also controlling their Felguard to do their bidding.

Demonology Warlock Changes in Midnight
While there were a number of changes numerically, the playstyle of Demonology remains the same. A review of the more impactful changes can be found below:

You will often find yourself choosing your Hero Talent based on what defensive capability or utility is required. Playing a Demonology Warlock in
Demonology Warlock's rotation is more about optimizing your damage during cooldown windows; this is fairly obvious to follow due to the simplified core rotation. Try to adhere to two basic rules for Demonology:

are your resource and are limited to a maximum of 5. Overcapping them is a DPS loss and they should not be pooled unless heading into a damage window.

As a general guideline, follow the stat priority of:
Haste = Critical Strike > Mastery > Versatility
. Don't neglect the value of

, as a substantial increase in item level is typically going to be worth it compared to optimized stats. It is always recommended that you use

What Professions are Best for Demonology Warlock?
Compared to previous expansions, professions in provide minimal benefits towards the performance of your spec. This means that Demonology Warlock players can choose any profession according to personal preference. You might consider

From the Shadows now also increases your pet's Shadowflame damage - this change only affects Summon Demonic Tyrant as no other pets do Shadowflame damage.
Is this really true?I thought that it also affected Imps, since Imps do fire damage, and Shadowflame is shadow+fire.
