Best Stats for Outlaw Rogue
You'll want to prioritize pieces with higher Agility(item level is almost king). You still want to get haste-heavy pieces until 23% Haste for both Trickster and Fatebound. As for Critical Strike and Versatility, both are nearly even in value for most, though Critical Strike does pull slightly ahead. Remember to consider external or temporary sources of stats from weapon enchants or trinket procs when trying to understand why a stat might be good or bad for you on your gear. Having a large amount of crit from an on-use trinket, for example, may reduce the value of crit for your character.

Diminishing Returns in
Accumulating too much of one Secondary stat from your gear leads to diminishing returns. This means that adding more of the same stat beyond certain thresholds results in reduced benefits. These thresholds are fixed and reduce the amount gained from more of that stat rating by 10% per breakpoint. Each stat has a different rating threshold where the reduction begins:
Critical Strike
- Above 1380 rating
Haste
- Above 1320 rating
Mastery
- Above 1380 rating
Versatility
- Above 1620 rating
Example
Let's assume you gain 1% Haste for 10 Haste Rating. When above the diminishing return breakpoint, 10 Haste Rating would give you 0.9% Haste instead, resulting in a 10% reduction from what you gained previously.
Note that this system
only counts stat rating
, meaning that percentage-based procs and effects like

aren't factored in and will always grant their full benefit.

Other sites/sources recommend going for Versa > Crit > Mastery/Haste regarding the stat prio. Do you have any thoughts on this? Some of the top players I've checked are going exactly for Versa and Crit and are almost ignoring haste. Is there some threshold on haste maybe, if so what it might be ?
