Outlaw Rogue Rotation in
Outlaw Rogue is a fairly simple spec once you get past the high APM requirements. The 3 key factors of the spec. Using your cooldowns on cooldown, making sure to efficiently spend combo points without overcapping, and maintaining high APM and not missing a potential global. The core concepts to keep in mind in single target are these, in order of importance:
Maintain a high APM -
Every global should be filled with something.
Use your cooldowns ASAP -

is a huge infleunce to this mentality. Every finisher spent with a cooldown not being spent is wasted CDR.
Be efficient, don't overcap! -

Outlaw Rogue Major Cooldowns
Unlike a majority of specs in WoW, Outlaw Rogue doesn't really have a "major cooldown" in the traditional sense, instead trading that off for a mediocre cooldown that has an above-average uptime. Below I will highlight some of the more important cooldowns we have either way.
Adrenaline Rush
While this buff is active, we gain a dramatic increase to our energy regen and a lowered GCD that scales with haste. It can be decreased to 0.8 seconds from the base 1 second with 25% haste. We only need 22% raw due to

being as strong as it is, good play directly links to more uptime of

Roll The Bones
While this spell looks like a highly random button since you are literally rolling dice for damage increases, there isn't a lot of statistical variance stemming specifically from this ability.
How it works is that whenever you press the button, you are given a random stage of the 4 possible outcomes. Each stage gives you a bonus alongside all the previous stages.
Stage 1 is increased

Stage 2 is

Keep it Rolling

Utilizing your cooldowns as they become available, timing them with other cooldowns, and overlapping properly.

Nice guide, are there any UI add ons that you would recommend? With needing to make sure the correct Roll the Bones is up, I would rather have them display near my character rather than the top right.

Thank you for writing the guide. For people just learning the class, the rotations section might benefit from the checkbox feature that allows you select which talents you've chosen and which Covenant you've selected. I don't really remember the name of all my talents. By providing the checkboxes, I can fill that out at the beginning and then read all the rotation lines knowing they all apply to me. As it is, I go through the rotation trying to remember if I have that particular ability instead of focusing on the priority/order of abilities I know I have.

When I played rogue in BFA (uldir era only), the general idea with combo points and finishers was to use them if you were at 4 combo points because SS could overcap you. Is that no longer the case? (this assumes no deeper stratagem and broadside) I would imagine we'd at least want to do that when SkullnBones is active since it's a 65% chance to give 2 combo points?

Current crackshot build is feeling TIGHT to play making sure to get as many Between the Eyes as possible during Stealth and Subterfuge. Since Ghostly Strike is off the GCD now, does that mean we should macro it into something? Maybe Ambush?
Edit: After playing around with it again with my raid guild, I pull 15-20k more dps *single target*. We didn't do a full run, and we did a rush strat on the only cleave fight, but on trash packs I was pulling upwards of 250k dps on the non-blade flurry focused talent set, which is over DOUBLE my previous damage.
Even casually, in the open world where I can usually open on mobs from stealth, you can abuse crackshot and shadow dance to get insane burst dps (over 120k!), which is WAY over double damage from the old patch. It feels like way way way too much damage, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

With Trickster, don't we have a priority on when we want to use Coup de Grace and Killing Spree? Do we always want to do our Vanish -> Between the Eyes spamming, or do we pause if Coup de Grace or Killing Spree come off cooldown, since Killing Spree benefits a ton from Between the Eyes chains reducing its cooldown? Hidden Blade feels like it does a *lot* of damage which is why I ask about priority of Killing Spree (which allows for more hidden blade procs) and Coup de Grace giving more stacks of Flawless Form for stronger finishers.
Just.. trying to juggle priorities but I'm not really sure which one works out the best numerically.
Edit: There's also the case of Killing Spree being in a weird position when you want to use it when it's available immediately, but due to the nature of it animation locking being too dangerous, it can potentially "mistime" and go unused for long periods if vanish rotation comes back up on time.

with Ambush window, do I spam ambush ignoring combo points,or should I be using spenders? or can I just blast 4-5 Ambushes back to back with Flurry on?

Probably shouldn't say this guide is for 11.0.5 when it's not updated to reflect any of the 11.0.5 changes...
1. Slice and dice is applied automatically whenever you cast Dispatch, so it's likely never worth casting on its own.
2. Entering stealth resets the cooldown of Between the Eyes, so it's not worth holding for Vanish. In fact, you probably want to make sure it's on cooldown before vanishing and resetting it.

any chance you could run this whole guide through an LLM or manually reread it all and fix it? The roll the bones stuff is inconsistent from one part to the next, and that info is really hard to parse out of logs myself. Also can't find any good guides online, they're all out of date like this one and basically just copies of each other.
