Army of the Light Reputation Guide

聖光軍團
is one of the two factions you can work to gain reputation with on Argus. The Army consists of the finest warriors of the Draenei Race, who followed X'era after the fall of Argus to the hands of the Burning Legion. Ever since, they've been fighting against the Legion, trying to undermine the plans of Sargeras and contain the spread of the Fel throughout the universe.
After the fall of Argus, the Draenei's finest warriors followed the Prime Naaru Xe'ra across the cosmos in an eternal war to bring about the Legion's end. Since then, other survivors of the Burning Crusade have joined the ranks of the Lightforged.
Reaching Exalted status with

rewards you the achievement

, which is required for the

Army of the Light Rewards
Earning reputation with the
聖光軍團
awards many different items and patterns, including

Quartermaster

After reaching Exalted, every 10,000 reputation earned with

will trigger the quest

Gaining Reputation with the Army of the Light
Early levels of reputation are obtained quickly while completing the story quests in Argus. After being done with all the story quests, you should be Friendly, on the way to Honored. At that point, there are a couple of sources of reputation:
Weekly Quests
World and Emissary Quests
Insignias
Weekly Quests
Two quests that unlock while completing the main storyline from Argus have repeatable versions that can be completed every week:

World and Emissary Quests
World Quests will be the major source of reputation for

. Normal and Rare World Quests from
聖光軍團
grant 150 reputation and are found only in

To access the World Quests, you must complete their respective branches of the Argus Storyline.

There is also a new Emissary quest:

. Completing it awards you with:
1500 reputation with

While questing in

and Eredath, you will unlock access to a new type of troops and missions when you complete the quests

. Those missions have new item rewards for your followers, Artifact Power tokens, and reputation insignias for

. The insignias are rewarded from the missions

There are two different insignias:

increase reputation by 750

is a normal reward from missions, while

can be obtained randomly from

, which is rewarded as a bonus reward from normal reputation insignia missions.
BoA versions of these tokens become available from missions when you reach Exalted standing.

Catch-Up Items

: Crush the stone, killing the demon permanently and increasing reputation with the factions of the Broken Isles and Argus by 1000. Can only be used on Argus. Drops from elites on Argus—you have one chance of loot per day per elite.
Darkmoon Faire
The Darkmoon Faire offers valuable reputation buffs:

. These do not stack; each increases experience and reputation by 10% for an hour.
World Quest Event
While the

event is active, completing Broken Isles World Quests awards a 50% bonus reputation with the appropriate faction. World Quests are a good way to improve your reputation and get basic gear without needing a group or long-term commitment. Just open your map, or check it via your phone on the Legion Companion App or on Wowhead's
World Quest Page
, to see which quests are up.

Hmm, bugger, new missions for the rep tokens, eh? Not the old ones I'm current doing, so can't really cheese it as easily.. blast!
Any idea how many resources the new missions cost/how much gold missions give at ilevel 950 champions?

Not sure what if anything the linked in the following section under Argus Missions has to do with reputation missions? It stuck me as odd enough to be a typo? perhaps?
"Army of the Light Insignia is a normal reward from missions, while Greater Army of the Light Insignia can be obtained when completing the Kirin Tor Emissary or randomly from
Runic Leather Bracers

I do think warframe is over price .compare with both the mammoth mount we got .Atleast they have to add some special function to it .

Tested Last week for Rep Grind:
I believe it is worth noting that you can complete invasion Portals for rep tokens multiple times a day. The only requirement is that they appear on your map. If an invasion point is on your map it is loot-able for rep tokens. I did 5 portals yesterday and got a token from each portal. This works for both
Army of the Light
and
Argussian Reach!

For the Paragon Reputation it is possible to receive two mounts in the one cache, as it just happened to me with the Blessed and Glorious Felcrushers.

This guide says New to 8.1, World Quests award 150 reputation, up from 75. But I would also like to point out that the rare elite world quests award 350 reputation. It is only the normal world quests that give 150 reputation

I decided to come back to WoW last week and went to do all the Argus stuff to unlock the Lightforged Draenei. And I was so surprised that a mere 2 and a half days later I was Exalted with Army of the Light! Thanks to the weekly 50% world quest reputation and I only got 3 insignias for 250 rep.
So if you were like me and were a bit put off for how long it'd take to farm exalted, don't.. it's rather fast!

This guide states: Exalted with Army of the Light is required to unlock the Lightforged Draenei Allied Race. Today I met the other requirements to make the Lightforged Draenei Allied Race (Achievement: You Are Now Prepared!), but my reputation with Army of the Light is only honored. I am able to make the new race. Not sure if or when this changed, but I think it's worth mentioning. :)

I have a status bar to track my reputation for the Army of the Light. Now I can't get rid of it. I only had it up so I could unlock the Lightforged Draenei Race. This was when you had to be exalted to unlock them. Now since you don't have to anymore, and I have unlocked the allied race, I want to get rid of the bar. Is this a bug? And is there a way to untrack this bar?
