I find it crap we HAVE to have a 110 alli in order to get this class or the void elf Which means we can waste our boost with xpac on a character we may never play and then a. Level our new race class or b. buy another boost. Thanks Blizz! I think that if we have the requirements on horde side they should make it as we have the requirements for alli side and vice versa.

My only complaint about the Lightforged Draenei is that they cannot be shaman. Why not? Regular Draenei can be shaman. It seems that only the Horde received races that can be shaman or druid. The Alliance is confined to the standard classes. I can understand void elves not being druids as blood elves can't be druid (maintains lore) but Dreanei can be shaman, so why not Lightforged?

About heritage armor. Guys, do you know if you have to level only once to get it for all future chars of that race? Even if they are boosted?

I would love to have the possibility to make my Draenei paladin become one of the Lightforged without paying 25 euros. I made my character long time ago and he is so similar to the lightforged: white skin, white hair, devoted to the light. I know i'll never be able to switch race without paying but it would be cool.

Tested Last week for Rep Grind:

I believe it is worth noting that you can complete invasion Portals for rep tokens multiple times a day. The only requirement is that they appear on your map. If an invasion point is on your map it is loot-able for rep tokens. I did 5 portals yesterday and got a token from each portal. This works for both Army of the Light and Argussian Reach!

If I buy the expansion, get the exalted reputation with Army of the Light and Argus campaign finished with an Horde character, can I still create a Lightforged Draenei? Or do I need all those requirements with an alliance character to do so?

Once earned, the heritage armor can be used by any lightforged alts, including low level, boosted and race changed ones.

Should be noted that you need a 110 alliance character to unlock the recruitment scenario. If you're an exclusively Horde player, like myself, your best and fastest way to unlock is to make a Demon Hunter and level it to 110 on any realm you have a level 70+ on.

I completed the requirements for my Lighforged on my horde toon. I of course can't complete the last 3 quests to unlock as a horde character. Do I seriously have to level an Alliance all the way to 110 in order to create the Lightforged :( Please tell me there is a way around it?

Draenei have long been the only Alliance race I cared for and actually played as. That being said, this Allied race is easily the worst of them all. Five pitiful class choices? What was Blizzard thinking? Makes 0 sense.

I need some help. How do you pick up the "special recruitment quest" once you have completed all the other steps? I have exalted rep with Army of the Light + achieved You Are Now Prepared. Now I'm not sure who to talk to in order to get the recruitment quest.

UPDATE: I found the quest. You have to go to the Stormwind Embassy (where you originally find out about the races) to pick up the questline.

I really like the Lightforged Draenei, I think the only thing that really bothers me about them is that they cannot be Shamans or Monks like the original Draenei race can. Anyone have any thoughts as to why Blizzard went this route, other than to limit the class options for the race?

I'm curious why the additional tints for both Lightforged and Nightborne heritage armors were never implemented. Would be cool to have some variants like the Mag'har do.

Somebody tell me why these cannot be Shaman like the normal Draenei....
Is that a stupid lore thing, or what?
I am starting to think that none of the new races that can be unlocked for Alliance side, are worth bothering with, just for a reskin / new dance animation!

Created a light forged Draenai hunter but didn't log on. Had her sitting on my server screen and the little Talbuk was there. Then when the pre patch went live, my cute little Talbuk changed to some ugly manta ray like thing. :(

Once I hit 50 I couldn't find where to turn in the Heritage of the Lightforged quest and thought I had to open up Argus zone and started down that path. Then I found a comment in the Heritage of the Lightforged Quest. To complete this go to Stormwind, then go to the embassy, a beacon to Vindicaar is at (54.15, 14.86). You can transport to the Vindicaar, turn in quest, and then return to Stormwind through the portal in the lower level of the Vindicaar. I would have spent a lot of time opening up Argus had I not found this. I hope this saves someone time getting their shiny new transmog sets.

Other races cannot use the Dark Iron Dwarf Heritage Armor Set.
