You won't be able to solo Magtheridon because you need (i think) 6 people to click the cubes to interrupt his fire nova.

Umm, there's a big Wooden Barrier that blocks the way and you need to kill the king to make it drop.

Also, tanking gear is by far your best bet to solo.
More HP = Bigger Self Heals
Avoidance = less damage taken

Soloing Old world raids isn't about damage. it's about surviving the encounters.

Not true, it's easy to survive, I did it in heroic gear as tank, a guy in Naxx prot gear, a PvP shaman healing, and a PvP rogue. you just need to have a healer. Duo you can do it easy.
