Leorajh is decently hidden to the mountains of Spires of Arak. Head first to his cave (55,3; 68,5) north-west from Pinchwhistle Gearworks. On both sides of his cave entrance there are paths curving to right alongside the mountain. After climbing up, you'll find another cave (roughly directly above Leorajh's cave) where you can find few mobs and Leorajh.

Leorajh has 治療鍊 ability and 保鏢 trait by default and he'll get a random second trait.

The cave you need is up the stone path then at the top of the left stone path go left to 55 65.3
There are some Sun Charge Guardians in the cave to deal with and she is at the back of the cave with a ! over her head. If you are a rogue like me, it is easy to stealth past everything, sap the bird person, grab the quest from Leorajh and vanish again :)

Reputation ability and perks:

One of many followers capable of being your bodyguard on Draenor, once your barrack is level 2 or above. They do not go into instances/raids with you, making their perks obsolete in some enviroments.

Bodyguards also have their own reputation which currently gives 10 for every kill in your level range.

This reputation goes to 10.000, twice. Each time giving you a higher affection level, starting at 1. Level 2(Wingman) gives a combat ability for your follower, Level 3(Personal Wingman) gives you a perk, after completing a personal quest for the follower.

Leorajh joins your cause after you find him/her in an unearthed apexis chamber high above their cave in the Spires of Arak.
Leorajh's abilities:
Level 1: Lightning Bolt and a Chain Healing, though very rarely.
Level 2: Bloodlust
After you help him reclaim his prayer beads from an arrakoa in skettis:
Level 3: Your personal missions table in the field.

The bodyguards availiable for the Horde, and their perks are:
Vivianne: Portal: Garrison.
Aeda Brightdawn: Summon anywhere on Draenor.

The neutral bodyguards availiable to both factions are:
Talonpriest Ishaal: Mailbox anywhere on Draenor.
Tormmok: Repairs anywhere on Draenor
Leorajh: Mission table anywhere on Draenor.

Currently, there is a level requirement to get him. I tried going with my 94 priest and the quest marker was greyed out. I assume you would need at least level 96.

Good Bodyguard that grants Windspeaker on Bodyguard Rank 3. Too bad that he stands still in dot aoe and dies thereby starting the 1 hour respawn time.
PS: Only uses Chainheal when you or your minion are at low health. May possibly use it on self when at low health. Also highly squishy, therefor making him best for a Tank.

3. Walk over tiny spiders
4. ?
5. Have max level follower within an hour

note: the tiny spiders count as kills, even at lv 100. Hope they don't patch this :|

Some additional info on him. All bodyguards have three rep stages:
1. Bodyguard (0-10.000)
2. Trusted Bodyguard (10.000-20.000)
3. Wingman (20.000+)

When bodyguards die, they are send back to the garrison. After 60 minutes, the bodyguard can be reassigned to you again. It is possible to switch bodyguards in the building menu, as the 1 hour cooldown is tied to the specific follower. Bodyguards will target an enemy that you have attacked, or is attacking you, very similar to assist mode on pets. He will remain mounted and passive if you are mounted.

As a bodyguard, he will cast:

The chain heal will heal party members who are near. At level 100, this heals me for 12-16k. There is an internal cooldown and a proc rate, as far as I have seen. He does not cast it twice in a row, but can cast it multiple times during 1 battle. Sometimes he will say "Don't worry, friend. Leorajh heal you.", but he will only if you have health damage. He will cast it outside of battle too, if your health is below 50%. This condition may be the trigger.

When he levels up, a quest marker pops up on his head. Talk to him to get the next rep level. This unlocks:
雷歐拉杰技能：原始嗜血
This is a haste buff that he will cast after being in combat for a few seconds. It has a proc chance and a cooldown. Getting this buff will not give you an icon in the buff section, so it cannot be removed before it expires. It does not trigger the 10 minute cooldown for similar effects, such as 英勇氣概. You will get a visual effect on your character, a sort of crimson blood ring, that indicates it is active. I do not know if the haste buff stacks with other haste buffs.

When you reached 20.000 rep, he will have a final quest, 雷歐拉杰的祈禱串珠. After getting 雷歐拉杰的祈禱串珠 from 『風舞者』奇洛斯 in Skettis, 阿拉卡山, he will gain 雷歐拉杰特殊能力：語風者. When talking to him, he has two options now: send him back, or access mission table. This mission table is exactly the same effect as clicking the table in an outpost or your garrison. There's no cooldown or cost attached.

The path up to the cave begins at 51.3,63.5. Ride through the red LW skin and the path curves up and left, keep to you right.

On training dummy with burning rush enabled, Leorajh consistently cast one chain heal for every three lightning bolts while under 50% health. Once he had healed me from 45% to 55% health(I disabled burning rush) he stopped healing me completely(he's cast about 40 lightning bolts with me at 55% health while I typed this with no heals).

His chain heals hit his primary target for 18k-21k based on my testing. His smallest heal(as it is hitting myself, my pet, and himself) was 4k so I assume this is an older style chain heal in which every subsequent heal is smaller than the last.

For those having issues finding the path...

Go up to the LEFT of the Red Leatherworking skin (not through it).
Jump down to the path on your right.

The correct path is the ONE WITH THE RIBCAGE on it.

Turn left at the second ribcage.

Turn left again at the fork.

The cave you want is at the top of the rise.

The clearest path to this follower starts at 51.72, 68.12. It goes up, take a right at the tree, over what looks like a small edge pointing up with a slight turn to the left, up a really steep incline with another slight left, and continue to an area with 3 stumps. From this point, the path continues on the right, and another slight left turn just after. As you approach the cave entrance, you should see (with nameplates turned on) a Sun Charged Guardian - lvl 97. Go into the cave, killing any mobs (only one can actually be avoided in most circumstances) and continue into the cave where you have to kill two mobs to set Leorajh free. He's one of my favorites, especially on tanking toons. Enjoy!

My favorite follower. I'm Grateful that he has the bodyguard trait as I'm sure his creation pays homage to Uncle Leo from fallout 3 who sadly couldn't be a companion in that game.

I stealthed my way in to his cave on a level 94 druid just to see if I could get him as a follower. I was able to kill the mobs on the way in, but did not bother on the birdlady mob because of its health pool. Just as a heads up to others, there was no quest available from him. I was, however, able to get him at the appropriate level, which is 96.

Tired of getting the chat box when you accidentally click the bodyguard ?
I made an addon called Bodyguard Away which disables that very chat box.
Press CTRL to get the chat box anyway, in case you need to send them home/interact with them.

The problem here is not that there are too few ways to get there, but that there are too many.

The cave Leorajh is in is quite simple. After a dogleg left, the tunnel opens into a single main room where the NPCs are.

The cave opening is at
/way Spires of Arak 55.0, 65.3 Apexis Chamber

My personal preference for a route there is as follows:

From the Pinchwhistle Gearworks Flight Point travel WNW to
/way Spires of Arak 51.65, 68.11
(this spot is just a few steps off a roadway).

Face SE and ascend to a tree (52.3, 68.1) and bear right.

Just past that spot, be careful not to slide off hillside on your right. Continue up to a tree stump (53.7, 66.3) and bear right.

From the stump, or just past it, you can see the lightpost and penant at the opening to the Apexis Chamber.

Quick summary:

OBTW, the spot above is near a "Y" intersection in the roadway and there is a very memorable tree at the intersection which even has a "special indicator" branch which dips low near the center of the intersection.

I've been able to find the cave no problem but Leorajh doesn't spawn and I'm certain I have not completed the quest already. Ticketed the issue and a GM says I'm most likely in a different phase and to scour the region for unfinished quests. At this time I have not been able to find any..... Anyone else having this issue?

The fact is .... bloody Leorajrh is NOT in his den ! OK, first to find THAT! Ride west from Pinchwhistle Gearworks, then north, and approach the word VALLEY from the south. Leorajh's Den will appear. Whooppee ! He ain't there! He is being held in a cave HIGH ABOVE this level.. And good luck with finding the upward path. There are MANY (thanx Blizz). Good news is, when you finally find the cave where this wuss is lurking ... you have to kill a few 96 mobs, and there he is. He comes quietly enough ........ but do you really want a bodyguard with so little spine?

Regarding his level three perk to access the follower mission screen from anywhere...

Unfortunately, having just got this perk, I've realised it allows you to complete follower missions and collect rewards, but not start them. On hovering over a mission, it has the text "return to your garrison to start this mission". Very disappointing, doing one half of the job but not the other makes it fairly useless, unless there was a follower mission reward you were excited about checking out.

Leorajh's ability does fully work when you're in the garrison zone, but obviously there's already a table there...saves you running over to the keep at least!

It seems like it might be a bug though, I can't imagine this is what they intended.

EDIT: Thankfully this was quickly patched. Move along, nothing to see here =P

When your reputation reaches "Trusted Bodyguard" and "Personal Wingman" with him, he will provide you with quests on each reputation level which will unlock his second and third ability. You NEED TO BE 100 to be able get these quests/perks.

Edit: Here are the quest links and perks:
-At level 2/3 he will give you 氏族的怒火 which will reward you with 雷歐拉杰技能：原始嗜血.
-At level 3/3 he will give you 雷歐拉杰的祈禱串珠 (Horde)/雷歐拉杰的祈禱串珠 (Alliance), which will reward you with 雷歐拉杰特殊能力：語風者.

Leorajh is a level 97 follower who is always at least rare. He has the bodyguard trait and his third ability once unlocked gives you access to your garrison missions out in Dreanor. I made a video showing how you can obtain him here.

Hi.

The Windspeaker Perk is awesome to keep your missions rolling so you don't need to return to your garrison or outpost to start/finish them.

When I go to the Pit, I get sure to have him with me so the kills when you use the flares count for the reputation. But keep in mind that when you get into an Iron Star (bloody bugged most of the time) and cannons, you wont get reputation.

I made a quick video to show how did I get to the cave from the east side and the mobs I killed to free him.

By the way, he actually casts Chain Heal when your health drops, but I find it quite Weak.

Entrance to cave: Follow the curved road from Pinchwhistle from right to left-up. When you reach the mountains, you'll see the boss Spineslicer on your right.
A bit left of that boss is a path that goes straight up leading to the cave.

Note to Warlocks: It's possible to maintain burning rush almost infinitely as a passive 50% speed boost whilst out of combat and with Leoraj active.

Combined with the stacking speed gear. My lock stays at 210% on foot in Garrisson at all times (230% in the mine). Nice for daily chores.

at the position 51.6: 68.1 in the spires of arak, is the path to the hidden cave. follow this. reached the top, you can already see the entrance. in the cave itself are some npc's which u can kill without effort. at the end of this cave is already leorajh. kill the 2 npc's, complete the quest and you can call him your own.

About the aggro bit:
Leorajh will attack your target, if in combat, and/or heal you, as stated above. It will not attack if you are not attacking, and will move close to you until you decide to attack. This is important, you want to position Leorajh, and yourself, in such a way you keep tags on what he is doing or aggroing. Since Leorajh can cast his spells from afar, it may happen he will pull aggro and will die fast if you are not near to pull his aggro to you.

I wanted to find a better place to get to this guy than what I was reading in the comments. I found a very obvious path to reach him that starts at 51.13 65.11. I also submitted a screen shot. Just follow the path of least resistance (path is even obvious on the ground) and you will be taken right to the cave.

NOTE: Not the obvious cave right there at near ground level, when you go up the first ramp veer left and continue the path a short amount.

Leorajh. He is is the Apexis Cave, or whatever. Follow the light, tan-colored path around a cave at 54,68. I tried walking all around the cave, but you have to not give up. The path is unconventional, but it exists. Proceed with persistence.

Not even necessary to kill the 2 mobs next to him. Carefully hug the wall to your left when entering the last area and just scoot up close enough to grab quest. Although they're not hard to kill, it's just one more thing to waste your time with, esp if you're a healer. Hearth and enjoy!

I have decided to do inside test of all my Garrison Followers how much DPS they can pull against Training Dummies.

I did this to find out which Follower is the best to take on a patrol during Garrison Invasion content.
Each test took 1 minute.
I'm not testing bodyguards here.

After few hours of "training" it turnd out that the winner is… Leeroy!
He does some sick dps (also aoe) and even sicker healing. That makes him King of Garrison Invasion companion.
Tho Aeda Brightdawn does more dps, she doesnt heal and she tends to die during invasion.

Honorable mentions are:
1. Aeda Brightdawn - for best dps.
2. Harrison Jones - for most bizzare style.
3. Choluna - good single target dps.
4. Garona Halforcen - good single target dps.
5. Talonpriest Ishaal - good aoe.

Below You can see test results for all my active Followers.
As you can see Followers' iLvl scales with their DPS (Leeroy is an example here).
I will be adding new followers as soon, as I'll test them.

1. Fly to Pinchwhistle Gearworks in Spires of Arak

2. Travel northwest to Leorajh's Den (coords 54.9, 68.9).

3. Travel up the mountain sticking to the lighter colored areas path to coords 56.0, 65.7. Turn left and enter the Apexis Chamber cave (entrance @ coords 55.0, 65.0). You may have to fight a few 日能守護者.

There is a bug since 6.2 when you have Leorajh as wingman he should give the mission table, since the patch he no longer shows it when you ask him for it.

Edit: since todays hotfix Leorajh is fixed again :D

For some reason, I was able to open up the mission board and complete missions but I am only Rank 1. I'm trying to recreate how I did it but am unable to so far. Will report back if I can figure it out.

Leorajh is worth of note for a Dream Team follower composition. In fact, for an efficient three follower compo he's almost mandatory. He's the only follower from the wildlings, mechanicals, ogres and arrakoa that comes with Group Damage and he starts with it. His other abilities are crucial for raid missions as well so his compo is almost always useful.

The fact that he has Bodyguard is both a blessing and a curse: you cannot put anything else on him than the two racial traits for the Dream Team compo but you do have a permanent Bodyguard in your team, and as Wingman he gives mission access in the field. As dps booster, Leo is also one of the best Bodyguards due to the mini-hero and heals.

The other two followers of the compo can have Dancer if neither follower has Danger Zones whilst the other has Epic Mount. For reference I put a Dream Team compo on one of the more tricky BRF missions shown here. Mind that with the ability spread it only counters three abilities directly, but due to Dancer, racial traits and outgearing it's 100%.

If you have read all the info you need about who, what, when, and where, & why... .LOL, and like me don't care his history and just want him. /way 54.96, 65.49 is location to cave entrance. We can fly now. So those who can... There ya go. 5 or 6 mobs in the tunnel and they spawn quick.

Easiest way I have found to level your Bodyguard's faction with you:

1) Assign them to your Barracks.
2) Go talk to them and take them with you.
3) Fly down to Talon Watch, Spires of Arak.
4) Take a quick trip over to Sunderthorn's nest: 裂棘
5) Just stick there any AOE down the ever re-spawning easy to kill wasps and watch your bodyguard faction gain more rapidly than pretty much anywhere else.
6) Rinse, repeat, cap out the faction and be done with it.

I love this guy! How would you folkspronounce his name? I'm thinking perhaps "Lee-or-ah-j", but I suppose you could say "Leo-raj" too. Anyone have anything else? Silly question I know, but with all this detail in WoD, I can't help but want to know about things like this! Thanks. :)

I use him on both my hunter and warrior .Hes one of my favorite. Worth getting if your always dying due to being a jerk sometimes. Im def going to miss him/her when legion is live ! Now if blizzard allowed us to bring one body guard to legion with us for say 1kg id pay it in a heart beat. I agree hes bit of a corse .I really wish they would have made it so that your body guard was part of your group . Ive gotten him killed way to many times .

This @#$%^&* is still bugged for rogues and druids. If you stealth he will randomly run off and attack something 30-80 yards away. This bug is ever frequent in the Throne of Kil'jaeden. He loves to pick fights on his own with the giant leet Infernals

All the posts regarding location of this NPC confused the heck out of me.
For those with Draenor flying, the Apexis Chamber entrance is 54, 65. If you're looking at the map, this is just below the two "L's" in the word 'Bloodmane Valley.' Kill a few Apexis' and a bird dude at the end of the cave and get the follower. No previous quests/quest line, etc. needed.
I hope this helps others.

I can confirm that even if you use a Follower Ability Retraining Manual, Leorajh's Bodyguard abilities do not change.

I was trying to make it so he only healed me, so when I look at his abilities in the Followers list I see Chain Heal and Purify Spirit, but when I go into combat with him as a Bodyguard, he still throws up Lightning Bolts.

Fought my way to him on a 95 Pally... gray ! over his head. So even if you have Draenor Pathfinder, you can't pick him up early.

TO get this follower (or ANY bodyguard) rep to wingman in 20 minutes per bodyguard do the following.

1. While in Gorgrond pick up the quest you get from Cutter in Moria's Bastion (around 47. 93.) called Iyu.
2.DO NOT COMPLETE the quest!
3. As you are walking out of the cave tons of iyun pustules will spawn they have 8090hp
4. KILL KILL KILL the little guys.
5.Once rep is bodyguard abandon the quest to pick pick back up for your next bodyguard.
6.Enjoy

Note:If you have completed all 4 chapters in Gorgrond this will not work. You must be able to pick up the quest.
Takes about 20 minutes per bodyguard.
If they stop spawning just abandon the quest and go back down and pick it back up.

He is in my new dream team. My first bg was Vivianne, whom I had lots of fun with being forsaken myself, but she kinda died a lot. Then I found Ishaal (the talonpriest) and he died less and also seemed to do more damage. Ofc my ilvl had grown by them so that makes sense, and he doesn't pull as many random mobs as Viv did so that's nice. Then finally I found Leorahj and in combination with my voidwalker he's AWESOME! My demon tanks, I dps, and Leorahj heals the demon during the fights. Nobody ever dies anymore. As a caster I haven't had a lot of fun with Trommok (is that his name?) and I have yet to find the last one.

To get this follower, fly to /way #542 55 65.3 Cave Entrance to Leorajh and follow down into the cave, where you’ll find 雷歐拉杰. Turn in 啟發後的雷歐拉杰 at him, and he’ll be available henceforth.
