(This is using the essence as a minor, NOT a major, the major has some big issues if it jumps to the wrong target)

I consider this essence more in the style of Spirit Link. as it ONLY transfer from the highest health target more in the style of evening health values out more then "damaging" them.

this would be pretty effective together with the aoe smartheals (like a Mist monks spiny spin). and the more people that use it, the more the effect would be as a raid wide spirit link.

BUT most people dismiss this very quickly for other choices like seeds or the well, that are also great healing effects.

i still find it performing really well as a minor on my monk.

Great Major essence for Necrotic weeks (happens to also be bursting this week), Throw on the tank or the one with high necrotic stacks and this will act as a mini spirit-link and help keep them up

Very strong in PvP right now as go-to major whenever DPS teammates are in danger of being focused down. Pre-Vitality Conduit before being cc-ed pretty much nullifies your opponents' go.
