About 20 kills now, only 2 sprockets. Wonder if there is a daily limit?

Make 3 M +, drop 3 Progression Sprocket. This is the way.

Let's straighten this out. There are 3 versions of Mechadon being talked about in this discussion and they are heroic, mythic, and mythic hardmode. What has made this so confusing is that originally sprockets only dropped in regular and hard mode mythic runs. They were guaranteed to drop in each run with 1 in mythic and 2 in hardmode mythic. For whatever reason, after one of the game patches, the sprockets started dropping randomly from herioc runs. When i saw the change i was so happy because mythic runs were no longer being run in dungeon finder and that meant that i could finally get rank 3 for my alt Druid. However, after running 20 times with zero sprocket drop I realized something had changed. Sure enough i found out it had been a bug and had since been fixed. I certainly hope blizzard makes a permanent change and adds heroic drops for the sprockets otherwise, there is no hope to get them except bribing guild members to run them with you.
Update: First, I would like to apologize for this late, probably too late, update. I should have added this information right after i finished my sprocket runs. However, I will go ahead and throw this out there and hopefully it will help someone before shadowlands drops......As the other players stated, the easiest and most efficient way to get the sprockets is to go into raid/dungeon finder, then custom groups, then dungeons and catch a mythic 0 group. I ran 4 times to get the 3 sprockets. A higher mythic level may be a 100% drop or possibly 2 sprockets in a run, but I dont know for sure. I used mythic 0 because they are easy, fast runs, always available and quick to form. It only took approx 1 hr to get the 3 sprockets i needed.

One other note: you can get multiple progression sprockets on M+. I got 1 on an 11, and 2 on a 10 later that same day

Does this rank remove the tranquility effect? Doesn't say it anywhere and I'm hesitant to upgrade.

Why is Rank 3 missing in the explanation paragraph up top?

Getting rank 3 on a char does not make you able to purchase rank 3 on another using the echoes of nyalotha currency. It is bugged and I've made tickets about and blizz told me to submit bug report.
