Well, I'm 99% done with this list but during the tail end of Cata content and during all of MoP, I have never seen Blazing drop at all...12-B...once and lost that roll to a former guildie and have not seen it again.

It also appears that the purple netherwing drake was removed due to the "wtf why is that there?" *edit: Sandstone is now being replaced with Purple Netherwing*

How to get:
Eye of Eternity raid:
Azure is a random drop from either 10 or 25m Malygos*
Blue is a random drop from either 10 or 25m Malygos**
* I have seen both drop at the same time on 10m
** For me, I had gotten Blue in Heroic Occulus when I believe lv 80's where able to get it
while in a random dungeon group.

Obsidian Sanctuary raid
Black is 10m Sartharion with all 3 twilight drakes alive*
Twilight is 25m Sartharion with all 3 twilight drakes alive*
*only one drake can be gotten from one run, you cannot do the Black run and then try
for a twilight run, this will require 2 resets

Wyrmrest Accord
Red is purchasable once exalted with Wyrmrest Accord in Dragonblight for roughly 1.6k gold (if your current guild you reside in has vendor discount)

Cavern of Time
Bronze is rewarded when you beat the timer and optional boss on Heroic Culling of Stratholm

Onyxia's Lair
Onyxian is a low drop from Onyxia's lair in Dustwallow marsh-can drop from 10 or 25m

Dragonsoul
Blazing is a very low chance when defeating Deathwing in 10m Dragonsoul

Shattrath City or Shadowmoon Valley
Purple Netherwing Drake is obtainable 2 ways
1) Once you reach exalted with the Netherwing faction located in Shadowmoon Valley in Outland and you can get him for free once you finish the quest line that takes you to Shattrath. Once there you can talk to Malfas-a purple netherwing and obtain him as a mount or
2) 200 gold from the drake vendor back in Shadowmoon valley

Most of these drakes, mainly raid and dungeon (not sure on Bronze) can appear in the Black Market Auction House in Pandaria for quite a bit of gold. It all depends on how populated the realm is.

There has been a change to the achievement. Sandstone Drake was replaced with Purple Netherwing Drake.

This truly is a kick-ass achievement for all the mount collectors out there. It sure as hell isn't easy to get due to the RNG-factor on some of the required drakes, but that will make owning this gem all the better.

Based on my experience as an achievement hunter i think that this hard to obtain achievement should be a Feats of Strenght, similar to the Insane of the membrane achievement.

To get this mount, you need to obtain the following drake mounts.

Reins of the Azure Drake-Rare drop in Eye of Eternity
Reins of the Blazing Drake-Rare drop from Madness of Deathwing in Dragon Soul
Reins of the Red Drake-Purchase for 2,000 gold once exalted with the Wyrmrest Accord in Dragonblight
Reins of the Bronze Drake-100% drop rate in Heroic mode only
Reins of the Blue Drake-drops in Eye of Eternity
Sandstone Drake-Purchase from an alchemist or receive the recipe from archaeology. 29k gold in mats is needed.
Reins of the Black Drake-100% drop rate in 10-man only if you defeat Sartharion in OS with all 3 drakes alive
Reins of the Twilight Drake-100% drop rate in 25-man only if you defeat Sartharion in OS with all three drakes alive
Reins of the Onyxian Drake-Rare Drop from Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair

Well. Now I have a reason to do Dragon Soul but it still sucks that Blazing Drake is up there. Still grateful to finally get a green drake. Yay for Emerald flight!

List of the different zones and instances where you're able to obtain the mounts:

永恆之眼 (北風凍原)
Both mounts drop (not necessarily simultaneously, but possible) from 雅立史卓莎的禮物 after you kill the one and only boss 瑪里苟斯. Drops from either difficulty.

黑曜聖所 (龍骨荒野)
The mounts have a 100% chance to drop if you leave all three Twilight Drakes (夏德朗, 坦納伯朗 and 維斯佩朗) alive and then defeat the boss 撒爾薩里安.

黑龍韁繩 (drops from 10-man difficulty)
暮光飛龍韁繩 (drops from 25-man difficulty)

斯坦索姆的抉擇 (塔納利斯)
To loot this mount, you must clear the instance on Heroic difficulty and reach the NPC 恆龍墮落者 within 25 minutes (timer available). Drops with a 100% certainty.

青銅龍韁繩

巨龍之魂 (塔納利斯)
This mount drops on all difficulties. Loot the after defeating 死亡之翼.

熾炎飛龍韁繩

奧妮克希亞的巢穴 (塵泥沼澤)
Drops from 奧妮克希亞 on all difficulties.

奧妮克希亞飛龍韁繩

龍骨荒野
Sold by 希爾史卓莎 on top of the Wyrmrest Temple. Requires you to be exalted with 龍眠協調者.

紅龍韁繩

影月谷
You need to complete the quest 伊利丹‧怒風 and be exalted with 虛空之翼 in order to buy this mount from 莫法斯 (offers the quest 紫色虛空之翼龍莫法斯). If you already completed the quest, the drakes can also be bought from 龍之商人荷刃克 for 200 gold each.

This should be like 愛貓成癡. The achievement has a large list and can be completed by collecting some of the required pets. Probably a better option than count with RNG for most part of it, specially with 奧妮克希亞飛龍韁繩 and 熾炎飛龍韁繩. Hope these "quality of life improvements for soloing Spine" made by @WatcherDev help us on that.

Most bosses are now very easy to solo and the Netherwing mount shouldn't take too long if you harvest a lot of eggs. The only boss that gives me trouble (as a rogue) is Spine of Deathwing; hopefully some new additions to the fight will be made! Good luck and happy hunting! EDIT: At level 100, Spine of Deathwing is a cinch! Just be careful of his rolling!

Azure Drake: has a 4% drop rate from Alexstrasza's Gift in Eye of Eternity on 10m normal and strangely enough a 2% drop rate on 25m normal. Also a rare drop rate from an Unclaimed Black Market Container.
Bronze Drake: has a 100% drop rate off Heroic Infinite Corruptor a boss in The Culling of Stratholme so long as you can get there before the timer runs out.
Black Drake: has a 100% drop rate off Sartharion a boss in Obsidian Sanctum on 10m or 25m normal so long as you have all three semi boss drakes up when you kill her.
Blazing Drake: drops from the Elementium Fragment from Dragon Soul. It has a drop rate of 0.6% in 10m normal, 0.8% in 10m heroic and a 0.9% drop rate in 25m normal and 3% 25m heroic. There is also a very small chance to receive one from an Unclaimed Black Market Container.
Blue Drake: can drop from Cache of the Ley-Guardian in the Oculus but only at level 80 in a random heroic you can also receive it from Satchel of Exotic Mysteries 0.2% drop or the misty or savage satchels with a drop rate of 0.19 there is also a chance from the Unclaimed Black Market Containers with a drop rate of 0.7% or 0.9% depending on what one you get. O.o (Didn't know there was more than one to be honest.) But this mount is mainly contained within Alexstrasza's Gift from the Eye of Eternity with drop rates from 4% on 10m normal or weirdly 2% on 25m normal.
Onyxian Drake: has a 1.3% drop rate off Onyxia on 10m normal and a 1.6% drop rate on 25m normal. It may also be contained in Unclaimed Black Market Containers with a very low drop rate
Purple Netherwing Drake: You must reach exalted with the Netherwing rep in outland you can either receive this from the finishing quest or from buying it off Drake Dealer Hurlunk for 200g.
Red Drake: brought off Cielstrasza for 2000 (probably less once your exalted.) after becoming exalted with The Wyrmrest Accord.
Twilight Drake: has a 100% drop rate from Sartharion 25m normal with all the mini boss drakes up.

P.S If I have missed anything out or made any mistakes feel free to tell me and I'll get them changed when I see your comment. Most the drop rate info was found off Wowhead and is subject to change. Good luck on those mounts you lot, have fun!

In reply to Cerberus I'm uncertain now on the blue drake I thought it had been removed as well but from memory I had a friend who got it from a lvl 80 random heroic after I had thought it had been removed I will admit I could be mistaken though and as for the Blazing drake I have just checked the wowhead page for it and read that it does indeed drop on 10m heroic as there have been people in the comments who have received it. :)

This achievement is little bugged or not working as it probably should.
When it is in progress it has blue header like account-wide achievements (for me it was blue), but some days ago I got the last drake I needed (Blazing Drake), got this achievement, but it now shows like character specified achievements. I got the reward drake via post and when I'm logging in with my any of my characters I'm getting the achievement and the drake even if I already learnt it.

I believe Droprates for the Drakes from Bosses have been upped since this achievement has been added to 100%

Got the Drakes from Onyxia and Malygos on the first attempt.

Might be just luck though, someone else needs to confirm.

Edit: Nevermind, I was just lucky, friend of mine just tried to get the mount as well but it didn't drop.

I have everything but the Blazing Drake, I DO have Life-Binder's Handmaiden (the heroic drop of blazing drake), so I am a bit annoyed that I now need to go back and farm for what is basically a slightly different color of a mount I already have. -.-

This achievement was originally called "The Drake Collector". The name was changed and the Sandstone Drake was changed out for the Purple Netherwing Drake.

just got the achievement at 4/12/18, now i have all FOUR dragon soul mounts, in this very order, Twilight Harbinger (achievement mount for Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider), Lifebinder's Handmaiden, Experiment 12-B, and finally the last drake i needed for Awake the Drakes, the Blazing Drake, yeah guys, if you're gonna farm Dragon Soul, just for the Blazing Drake, be prepared for the chances of getting the other mounts before the dragon you need even drops, with the exception of the Violet Netherwing Drake and Red Drake, this achievement is a RNG thing, the Bronze Drake, i think is a 100 percent drop, but yeah, when you FINALLY add that last drake mount into your collection (Blazing Drake was my last drake mount needed), it's like you get 2 drakes for the price of 1, i'm just thankful during my Dragon Soul and Eye of Eternity farms, there were no repeat mount drops, don't you just hate it when you're solo'ing something in wow and a mount you already have in your collection drops and because they bind when picked up, you can't give it to a friend or sell it in the auction house? p.s. the Black Drake and Twilight Drake are 100 percent too, i did that raid once for a piece of transmog gear for the dk naxxramas 25 man set, and the Twilight Drake dropped a second time, last time i visited that raid before i did the transmog run was back in Mists of Pandaria when i was LEVELING my death knight, it sucked that i couldn't give a friend that second Twilight Drake

I just wanted to come on here and say that finally, on 7/20/21, after 8 months of running Dragon Soul religiously every week, I got this achievement. I'm so happy/relieved.

For some reason, this achievement is not coming up in the achievement list. It comes up when you use the search bar for it, but when you click it to look at it in the list, it pulls up the "Collections-Mounts" but it's not in there.
