Can't seem to get this to work (1:11am, PST) on my guild bank. A Guild Master of another guild I'm in can't seem to make it happen either. Any ideas?

Edit: For people checking on this, there seems to be a known bug where guilds that already have a guild crest,can't get this achievement. Guilds that do not have a guild crest, can make one and get this achievement.

Edit 2: It works now for guilds who previously built a tabard design, thanks to Patch 4.0.6.

Currently not working for some people.

Tried this 2 times, once in an old guild (tbc creation if it counts for anything), and a newly created one.

Modyfing a single thing (icon)
Slightly modifying everything
Majorly (as in, 10~ish clicks either way) everything.

None of it had any effect, got a ticket into gm now.

This doesn't happen from my experience on the beta, until someone has obtained either Friendly, or honored with the guild.

Having the sane issues as everyone else, I made an ingame ticket asking if the Achievement was bugged.
After a day, I got a reply that said that the Achievement is working as intended.

I'll guess that either A) one would require Revered or higher reputation with guild, or B) the GM didn't care to look into the case (wich I do strongly doubt) as I didnt actually spoke with him, just where left a message.

Suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I am the guild master of our guild, and I can confirm that this isn't working for us either. Sent a message to a GM to see if they can shed some more light on the situation - hopefully they'll tell me if they've confirmed this as being a known bug.

I shall post back with what the GM's say when I hear word from them.

It does seem to work with guilds who didn't have a tabbard pre cataclysm
My friend who has a banking guild tried this and he says it works .

Nothing new to add here except add my name to the ranks of guild masters who've tried, and so far failed, to achieve this one. We did have a tabard/crest before Cata but that simply can't be the answer! If you can only get this achievement if you did not have a tabard/crest pre-Cata that would mean MOST guilds won't be able to get this achievement which will make for an awful lot of unhappy players.

I have two guilds. One already had a tabard, the other didn't.

I can't get the achievement on the guild with the existing tabard, but I got it on the guild that had no pre-existing tabard.

Also, it's NOT a reputation thing, as the guild that got the achievement is an alt guild and I think this is the first time anyone in that guild logged a toon since the expac was released. My toon (the GL) has 0 reputation in a guild that has 0 experience.

I tried several things in the "can't get the achievment" guild, including vendoring my tabbard, having everyone who was online un-equip them, changing the logo (drastically and slightly) and nothing took. I spent about 50g on guild crests trying different things.

Seems bugged to me, unless anyone can think of something I haven't tried.

it is not a reputation thing at all. i have several different guilds on several different servers, and the one guild has never had a tabard got the achievement and doesn't have any rep. the one on the other server that had the tabard already cannot get the achievement and i changed the tabard design twice. so i would say that it's bugged

Could this achievement perhaps have anything to do with the ability to have the guild crest on the new guild mounts and not the wearable tabard?

It's probably bugged.
I find it hard to believe that they'd make it so that only Guilds who are created after Cata get the achievement.
If that was the case it would be a Feat of Strength since it'd be unobtainable by probably 90%+ of the player base. Unless they decided to go and re-form, which is stupid if you've invested money and time.

So I'm leaning towards bugged, or else a really, really bad decision.

Confirming what has been posted:

1) If a guild has never created a Guild Crest, you can get this achievement without ANY rep with the Guild
2) If a guild has created a Guild Crest, you cannot get this achievement with ANY level rep

So, it's 100% bugged. There is no way to remove your Guild Crest, so if you have one already, you cannot get this.

I have tried to get this achievment 4 times hoping that I was doing it wrong.
Well sadly I was not doing it wrong. This is 100% bugged.
I have opened a ticket we will see what they say.
I will post my findings here as soon as I get them. -_-

Yep. This achievement, sadly, is bugged.
I asked GM to fix the status of my guild achievement, but unfortunally the GM is not able to do that.
At this state, there is no way to get this achievement in a guild where it's been bugging and there is nothing you or even Gamemaster could do.

STILL down, as of 10Jan11. Blizzard should really get the lead out and fix this! Until I see it in the patch notes or hotfix notes, I'm not laying down another copper.

(By 'down', I mean I am the guild master for a guild that has had an established tabard since before Cataclysm. As other posters have mentioned, new guilds can pick this up right away.)

Still bugged. Really drives me nuts as I have a small (bank) guild with only my toons and a couple friends, and I'd at least like our guild to be able to have one achievement...

Had a ticket a few weeks back. They assured me they were working on a fix, and that I should just keep an eye on the hotfix list. Starting to think this wont be fixed before the first content patch.

I put a ticket in just after Cata came out, I was assured they were working on it and our guild would be put on the "list". Talking to another GM on a different matter a couple weeks ago and was told he didn't know of a list but he did know they were working on it and it would be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Seems to be fixed as of this morning's 4.0.6 patch. My guild hadn't been able to get the achievement, but it just showed up in our activity feed.

Actually if you read the achievement (優異表現), it requires no rep lvl with the guild.

@Yaminoyugure: The achievement text doesn't happen to say that the characters need to be honored, but they do.

There's a good reason for that. Otherwise, a guild could convince (bribe) high-level characters to switch into the guild for a day, just so it could get the achievement, then let them leave. But since you have to be honored to count, you need to put in an effort. If you're actually leveling a character in the guild, you shouldn't have trouble getting to "honored" by the time you're 85.
