im guessing this achievement is a personal one, not a raid wide one, since it wouldnt be a problem to have 1 person visit all the portals in 1 battle
but for this YOU need to visit all portals in 1 fight, so i guess it would be up to the raid leader to have different people going in each week to let everyone get this achievement.

I do not believe that this is a personal achievement, on 10 man 3 portal spawn each time and you are inside it for 10 seconds, so having 3 healers go in and be gone for 10 seconds is what makes it difficult. We run 3 healers because you still need decent dps to keep the adds at bay, so timing tank cooldowns properly when the healers go in is key. It is not a very difficult achievement, but it will get difficult towards the end with more and more adds spawning.

This is not a 'personal' achievement.
Your whole raid has to take all spawning portals - so every time the portals spawn all of them have to be 'closed' by someone.

Very easy achievement if you run 3 healers (recommended regardless if you're doing this achievement or not). With only three portals at a time, you can send two of the healers and a caster dps down. After a few portal phases (and with over 20 stacks of the buff), the two healers will be HPS machines and the caster should be able to gun down most mobs as they spawn.

Even easier way to do this: run with 4 healers. Have one low-througput healer (preferably a discipline priest) stay outside all the time, while the other three healers take every portal that spawns.

You'll not only get the achievement, but you'll finish the fight very quickly.

With todays Hellscream (or Wrynn) buff, you can pretty much go 4 healers for this one to make it a lil' bit faster if your DPS is good.

However, we encountered a bug last night when finishing up our Glory-meta. When Dreamwalker was at 97-98%, she spawned a last set of portals, which 3 of our healers entered, but then our last healer outside decided that he could probably heal it up himself, which he did. The fight ended, the healers inside the portals dropped out but... no achievement. So if you want to be on the safe side, don't heal her up to full as long as there is still people inside the portals.

We have reported this as a bug. Let's just see if it's intended or not.

In an alt run, we got this achievement somehow. We had 3 healers going in, but on the first set of portals, two of them missed their cue. We also skipped the last set of portals in favor of just healing her to full. I'm not really sure how we received credit or the achievement...

There seems to be bug in this achievement.
We took every portal that got spawned and healed her to full.
But because healers were INSIDE the portals while she was fully healed we didnt get achievement at all. Thats what I think anyway, because we did TAKE portals like achi says.

I wanna try this with my guild this week though I'm a bit confused how it works.
Does everybody have to enter the portal or must the healers use every portal that spawns? If so is there anything special that has to be done inside the portal other than usual?

It's very much worth noting that if Dreamwalker spawns 3 portals when almost healed to 100% and three raid members hop in. All three members MUST traverse the portals (do whatever it is they do in there) and hop out back into the normal realm before Dreamwalker is healed to full.

If not, and raid members are still inside when the encounter completes, you will not obtain this achievement. So be careful!

(Cross-posted from the 25-man version of the achievement. I'm not sure if 10-man has the same troubles, but if it does, I hope this information proves useful.)

Just for fun, achievements, and to help a guildie with Shadowmourne, we've been going back to ICC for the last couple of weeks. When we got to Valithria, we noticed that the giant blue void zone effect that surrounds her until fully healed was much, MUCH bigger than before, encompassing almost the entire room. This led to difficulty when we went for Portal Jockey, as it would also cover the portals, making them almost impossible to enter with any sense of regularity. Last week we just decided to move on and hope it got fixed.

This week, the effect was still just as large, but we managed to figure out a work-around. If you tilt your camera down so it is resting on the floor, you're basically looking under the bottom of the effect, allowing you to click the portal and get inside. Using this tactic, we managed to earn the achievement (giving a few of us our frost wyrms to boot!).

So until the effect does get fixed, just move your camera down to the floor once you're in position to enter the portal, and you shouldn't have a problem.

I can confirm the same happens in 10 reg and 10 man heroic.

Edit: Why is accurate info being downrated? The tiny hit box of the adds is NOT fixed.

I did this tonight to complete my mount achievement. I took about 5 tries, due to people not being able to enter the portals as noted above.
What we eventually found was that to enter the portal the 3 of us had to stand on the green portal spawn blobs and pan down so that you are looking straight up at your characters feet (or in my case straight up the skirt of my warlock). then the blue barrier shouldn't impede you clicking the portal.

You can now do this by healing her before she spawns the portals, and still get the achievement. Both 10 and 25man.

As of Mists, if you can heal her before she spawn the portals, you get the achievement.
Easy as a pie, we did it with 2 healer and a Bloodlust (and a useless bandaging rogue).

I was able to get this achievement solo as a 90 restoration shaman. Run around to the side so you are in close range to the dragon without getting aggro on the initial mobs. For maximum healing throughput, use Elemental Mastery, Ancestral Guidance, and Primal Elementalist.

Create a macro like this:
/cast Bloodlust
/cast Elemental Mastery
/cast Ancestral Guidance
/cast Ascendance

Before engaging the encounter, drop the Earth Elemental Totem and begin channeling its empowerment for the 10% healing bonus. Then, immediately toss Earth Shield on the dragon for the 20% healing bonus. Hit the macro. Throw on a Rip Tide and start spamming Greater Healing Wave. I was able to heal the dragon up to full in about 17 seconds before any portal spawned.

From our attempts to two-man this:

1. You have to enter ALL of the portals that appear. She conjures three each time. All three must be entered.

2. If all players present enter a portal, with nobody left outside, the dragon will despawn and the fight will reset.

3. Once you enter a portal, there does not seem to be any way to leave manually, and by the time you're out, the other portals have despawned. Don't expect to be able to just have one person hop into a portal, then hop out, then into the next one, etc.

The ONLY way to complete this achievement with fewer than four people on 10-man (three to enter the portals, one to stay outside and make sure the fight doesn't reset) is if you can heal her to full in less than 30 seconds so that the fight ends before any portals are created in the first place.

Ridiculously easy as of 6.0.2.

Went there with a 88 level druid and a 90 level priest with no healing gear, and a few other people.

We made the battle plan, agreed who jumps into which portal, started the thing and hoped for the best.

And then the two of us accidentally healed her to full health in less than 10 seconds, thus getting the achievement.

Solo'd as Frost DK. Very easy. Kill mobs as they come and heal boss with bandages. Dont go into portal as this just resets. I used Embersilk bandages as F.A. not very hi.

Solo' d it on my 512 ilvl prot pally alt. Pretty easy, all i did was spam flash of light and the holy light spells until full hp.

Was able to do this with ilvl480 retri Paladin. Ignored the mobs, used LoH and spammed Flash of Light. Was able to do it before the portals appeared.

How do you get this achievement when soloing it if entering the portals just resets it? Also, i see many comments talking about just being able to do the boss fight, which is irrelevant because this page is about the achievement.

Solo'd this achievement as a ilvl633 hunter

Start the encounter off by having your spirit beast cast Spirit Mend, followed by using a Antiseptic Bandage and you'll have her at almost full health. Wait for your Spirit Mend to come off cooldown and use it right away. It has a 30 second cooldown and the first wave of portals takes around 45 seconds to spawn.

The antiseptic bandage does about 30% of the work so other non-heal classes might be able to figure something out with them as well

Just did this on Normal with my level 96 Dwarf (Elemental Shaman). I was just trying to heal her up prior to going into any portals but I ended up getting the achieve soon as she hit full life.

Just did this a few hours ago. Still works as of this patch to just spam heal on a 100 healer before any portals are popped. I ignored the four adds in front of the boss and just healed. 625ish resto druid

I was buffed up and ready to start spamming heals. I hit her with a penance and one (maybe two) flash heals and it was over :3

This is very easy for a level 100 healer!

Just soloed with my hunter with spirit beast healing and bandage in normal 10 player mode. I testify that you will get the achievement if you solo this particular achievement in normal.

Easy to solo as a resto Druid. Just kill the first four mobs to start the encounter, then spam heal on Valithria before she spawns any portals. Done deal.

Got this on 10m normal as a 100 BM hunter solo. Bring a pet that has Spirit Mend. I ran around back, cast Spirit Mend on Valithria, then used two Antiseptic Bandages before mobs started to attack. Killed the mobs until Spirit Mend reset, used it again and got the achieve.

Just solo'd this as a 110 Rogue. I switched to Normal 10-man for it (no heroic requirement for it), and used 1 silkweave splint 絲織夾板 to finish. Just make sure to kill the initial mobs first because they aply a DOT that interupts the bandage.

If you're trying to solo this in Legion this achievement tends to bug out on Heroic difficulty, but this achievement(s) can be done with any class that has first-aid.

Okay, so something I haven't seen on here that might help some dps classes. If you can in some way go into stealth; invis pot, rogue stealth, stealth-man, what-have-you. You stealth past the initial mob. Then use a regular bandage heal. Your cast won't get interrupted until the very end. Pop a pump-action bandage to finish it off and she's healed before the opening dialogue is even done.

Is it possible to solo this as a Demon Hunter with whatever bandages I can find on the auction house? On heroic so I can get the Heroic: Frostwing Halls to get the mount. I do have a druid but I ran it on normal without realizing I still had one more heroic to do so I'd have to wait until next week

Easily soloable on 10 man.

Not sure if this is new but on 10 man the 4 復活的大法師's are in a line in front of her and not in a 4 corners formation. Simply go around the 復活的大法師 without aggroing them. Go behing her, use a 厚質罩影布繃帶, took about 1 tick (second) and she was healed to full, killed the 復活的大法師's and that was that. From walking into the room to completing achieve was about 20 seconds.

2. use one bandage on Valithria

Can confirm that Pump-Action Bandage Gun has worked for me on my Demon Hunter as of 11.2.7 on Heroic difficulty

The item does 5-6 ticks, enough to heal her fully with one charge. Haven't tried it yet on 25 man difficulty.
