In any case, it would take an absurd about of coordination, as this fight can pluck down your raid members one by one.

Any delay or early death couldpractically mean kissing this achievement goodbye... there's no outgearing this thing.

7 minutes now. not a super long fight which is sad. that or only a select few guilds world wide will have this.

Yogg-Saron's enrage timer is 15 minutes from the moment you start the encounter. You will need extremely talented tanks, well-geared DPS that is paying attention, and capable healers.

Some tips to cut down time on Yogg-Saron:
- Look for green clouds that have shiny poofs floating in them. This will be where the next Guardian of Yogg-Saron is going to spawn. You can announce this over vent to get DPS ready for their arrival. Ranged is going to stop DPS'ing adds once they're being pulled to Sara anyway. If you have great interrupters (surely you know who they are after General Vezax) and fantastic dispellers (to control Dominate Mind MCs), you could force-spawn more Guardians (maybe one or two) to expedite the process of killing Sara.

- Portal group will need to be the strongest DPS your raid has, preferably with a Heroism/Bloodlust available. There is no way to really cut corners during phase two.

- At this point, you may not have as much time as you'd prefer for phase three. It may be sound to have a tank or two or three hold onto all of the adds while everyone else in the raid DPSes Yogg (using another shaman's Heroism/Bloodlust when Yogg is at 35%, only the portal group will miss the buff). You will have very little time with this method, as both your tanks and your healers will become inundated very quickly.

- No one can die. You will need everyone.

- No one can be stupid. For every idiotic mistake, you lose time on the timer. This means, avoiding all sanity-draining Lunatic Gazes as much as humanly possible. Time spent under the green pillar of light is time taken away from DPSing. Everyone in the portal group will have to push the timer on instant-insanity to get in as much DPS on the brain as they can, WITHOUT actually hitting the timer and going crazy.

- In such time sensitive circumstances, obviously no one can lag or DC mid-fight as well.

Yogg-Saron, the fight in general with all Titans assisting, is not difficult in any way. Though many people received the timer achievement on Patchwerk purely by accident, without even trying, I certainly do not expect that to ever happen with this achievement.

This is one of the most challenging achievements in the secrets of ulduar patch, you cant just do yogg very well and get it,

Phase one you would need to pop a whole bunch of clouds early and kill the gaurdians in the middle.

P2 Yogg is similar to six minute malygos in that there is a benchmark (Getting only one vortex for maly, doing it in one maybe two portal phases on yogg) that would be completely necessary to complete this achievement, I do not know if doing two portal phases would be fast enough but I doubt it.

Once you push it to phase 3 in one portal phase there need to be no corrupters or Crushers up so that all dps can be focused on the boss on immortal gaurdians, Probably put only a few melee on the gaurdians everyone else on the brain full time, Affliction warlocks would help on burning the brain, but not eating any lunatic gaze is also not the correct way to do this, rather you eat one tick per gaze so that you don't have to turn around early, provided this wont make you go insane.

I think the thing really limiting guilds from completeng it right now, and forgive me if someone has, but I doubt it, is the requiremnt to kill the brain in one phase, and of course the fact that all the guilds who could do it, want to do 1 keeper or try for 0 every week.

I don't know if this is bugged, but I completed this well under 7 minutes (my DBM says "4 minutes and 44.75 sec") but I was not awarded the achievement. At the same time I got Alone in the Darkness(25), so I know I had my instance correctly set. If anyone has any ideas, let me know, otherwise I'll just give it a shot again next week.
