This fight is very glitchy right now. First attempt, I fell through the floor when the Saronite Animus spawned. Second attempt, I killed the Saronite Animus, but then it returned to full health, became immune, then the fight reset. Sigh.

Edit: Success on third attempt. I hit the Saronite Animus hard and fast as soon as it spawned, then immediately finished off General Vezax. Maybe I just got lucky that it didn't glitch this time, or maybe that's the way to avoid the glitches. Not sure.

Note that you can't kill ANY of the vapors, otherwise Animus will not spawn. It needs exactly 8 vapors to coalesce, and it will only spawn 8.

Engaged the boss, went and brushed my teeth, came back and the Animus was already attacking me. Killed it, killed him. Easy enough.

Just did this in 2020 BFA patch 8.3. I unequipped all my gear so I wouldn't proc anything. It takes 2-3 minutes for all 6 Saronite clouds to spawn. Don't attack anything yet. Just wait and the Anima will spawn, kill it, and then kill the boss. EZPZ

I know for a lot of these fights we go totally naked, but I highly recommend a race (if you have several 60s) that has a single target racial ability/spells if possible. Haymaker really helped punch the individual Saronite Animus here. Regardless, be advised that there are some mildly irritating stuns/slows/roots etc associated with this fight and it can be kind of a pain to target the one thing first and then the main boss. Not awful, just annoying. :) GL to all!

Just don't hit anything for 3 minutes, once 6 vapors exist the animus will spawn in a few seconds when the vapors converge.

By patch 11.1 you only need 6 vapours to spawn when soloing the raid, the Animus will spawn one six vapours are around, make sure not to kill any of the vapours or Vezax himself and just chill for a few moments. It's effortless to solo at level 80.
