The one to the left(as you leave Darkshore) goes to Menethil Harbor in The Wetlands, not Theramore. ;)

Here is a quick quest progression guide for this great zone.

1-5
Simply do all of the quests given to you and you'll be ready to go.

5-6
On your way to Azure Watch pick up the quest "Red Snapper - Very Tasty!" and complete it. Sometimes the fishing spots will have Murlocks which can score you enough exp. to make you ding or get you really close to it. By the time you get to Azure Watch and you turn in your quests there you have dinged 6.

6-7
Once you get to Azure quest you'll get two quests to finish... "The Great Moongraze Hunt" and "Medicinal Purpose" which can be finished at the location marked on the map (connect the dots to make a square shape which shows the area at which you should be moving around to finish this quest)... https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/maps=3524:512553598570599638492629

7-8
For this part you'll have to go to Odeysus Landing which is located South of Azure Watch and can be reached by following the road south of Azure Watch... You'll get two quests here... "Cookie's Jumbo Gumbo" and "A Small Start". Cookie's Jumbo Gumbo can be done by killing the crawlers moving along the coast. 8-10
Now you can finish your other quests at Azure Watch (I'm gonna stop naming quests... ), soon you'll be level 10 and you can finish another set of quests and then you'll be sent to Stillpine Hold to do the next levels...

10-12
Now you will finish the quests in Stillpine Hold... Then you'll be level 12 and some classes will have Class Quests and the others can move directly to Bloodmyst...

I love this zone and I always level here at level 12... I never leave to level in another area since this area is so amusing and I can do it all in about a day since this is not Eversong Woods... This is an actual place to level and have fun...

Random thing I saw looking in the water while on the boat back to Auberdine. A turtle shell under the water right before you hit the load screen. Probably just decoration, but thought I'd mention it.

My favorite starting zone...Progresses quickly /w good storyline and quests that don't kill you every other mob. Fun ^^

It will not let you go there until the expansion is installed on your computer. tried to get there by boat and got teleported to the darkshore GY. dont know what happens if you swim there...

well you can't really swim bcoz you gains fatigue when u comes out too long and u die... so you have to wait for burning crusade to get there. (draenai starting zone btw)

I'm a undead rogue and it wasn't too hard at lvl 40 to just stealth all the way to the boat then mount at the isle and have my bind /target blood elf key going and he pops up. Its fun raiding alliance mini towns.

If you're gonna die in the attempt, do it right! Aggro a sentinel while in the water then swim like hell as close to the boat as you can UNDER the dock. Then just rez while standin ON the dock above youre corpse and finish walking to boat safely : )

For Horde its easy to get to , just hop on boat from auberdine , drops you off on Azuremyst Isle, then just follow the path round until you bump into the Blood Elf bandit - I (lvl 70 taurean Warrior) made it here solo , easiest 40 gold ever made - If you want one w/me - Gangreen (Horde) Burning Blade EU server - I will get to order for the princely sum of 40Gold!

easy to get there... just go to ashenvale then thru ashenvale into darkshore folo the path until theres a fork in the road to auberdine and thru forest face dead west and run to the shore (careful theres 1 sentinel there) swim to the very edge dock drown go on dock in spirit and rez on the boat yay u got to azuremyst!

P.S. anybody notice the big snake/serpent corpse out in the water? i see it but never go out to it... creepy man.

I know swimming can't get you there, but what about a druid's aquatic form? I'm 99.99% sure it won't work, but blizz might have missed that part...

I decided to get a Ravager at the tender level of 10... It wasn't too bad I died about 10 or so times...

I did the ol' die in the water by the boat and spawn on boat trick... worked like a dream!

now to get a mask!

there near this mountain and there really easy to kill at lvl 10.
also theres a quest giver so avoid him i think hes lvl 35-40 i think. its so hard getting there as horde u need to go through alliance territory big time! btw its waaay harder than ally getting into eversong woods because ally starts in ghostlands (not many there) they would all be in eversong. the boat will take u to azuremyst there is a lot of shamans and mages there so u will die a lot of times no doubt they will sneak up on u! u dont have to worry about rogues. and if u want to sight see exodar u have to go through the back way because the entrance is small and even at lvl 70 stealth the lvl 65 guards would see u for some reason.

u cant swim there. if u wanted to swim there it would be impossible because the little part of the instance would be sooooooooo high up in the air and it would be so small u would never find it. u would have to hack big time to get there without boat

Best zone for level 10 Hunter to tame a Ravager. Be wary that a Ravager only eats Meat and it gets hungry faster then any other pet so be sure to stock up on meat food/item from the meat vendor. Just buy the cheapest ones. Another way is to farm the meat from Moongraze Stag (Deers on the island) for the meat name Moongraze Stag Tenderloin. It stack up to 50 per-slot. I farm 100 so basically 2 slots(50 ea slot).

This map is excellent for levelling on ANY alliance race but mainly Draenei. I always ALWAYS bring my newly created characters here for leveling. Not only the experience is good but the rewards are too and I really love the map. Feels peaceful.
