For this quest, I went to Felwood and farmed satyrs until the Felcloth dropped, that saves you the trouble of buying it, and once it drops, you can get back to Impsy right away.

This quest will later on chain to the Warlock's Sunken Temple quest, which will give you the choice of a nice trinket, robe, or weapon. So, this is definitely a quest you will want to do.

I'd like to add that this quest is acquirable at lvl50.
Also, visiting Nibsy and Impsy in Felwood will also give you the infernal quest.

評論來自 eelyshabai

Although the quest mentions satyrs, the felcloth will drop from any of the Jadefire in Felwood. (If you really want the satyrs, they are in the Jadefire Glen, the path starts at 43,85.)

Impsy (and Niby, who gives you the Infernal quest chain starting with What Niby Commands) are around 41,45.

評論來自 79998

If you go directly to the Imp to get this quest, I believe it's called "Hot and Itchy", not "An Imp's Request". Hot and Itchy is not in the wowhead database it looks like.

評論來自 100148

Drop rate is pretty poor, killed 30+ and still no drop. If you are not strapped for money, buying a felcloth at the AH will be quicker than farming for the evening. On the plus side they do drop runecloth almost every time and for a tailor at this level you will be happy to find this spot.

評論來自 78964

Buying a felcloth before heading to Felwood might be a good idea, since you'll most likely see atleast one drop if you stay and quest, which you can sell and regain the money spent.

評論來自 xxxillidanxxx

quest name incorrect real name is ''hot and itchy''

評論來自 148874

The horde one is prolly called hot and ichy but this is the ally quest and it is called an imp's request

評論來自 CoachZ

I'm not sure, but I think this is a quest for Warlock's only? Perhaps anyway. I was unable to obtain the quest with my level 52 hunter.

Edit: After further browsing, this is a warlock only quest.

評論來自 124096

I went to the imp that sells it and he had no felcloth, and the fact that there are a lot of elites around him made it all that harder to get. so just farm it plus u get more xp.

評論來自 Thottbot

he is located near the bridge in the middle of the map

評論來自 Thottbot

The location where you can find Felcloth is 37.68.
The Satyrs there drop the Felcloth, it's a rare drop, so be patient.
For those that don't have coordinates, it's south of Jaedenar on the eastern side of the road.

Another option is just to buy it from your Auction House, a more simple solution, but it's a waste of "money" in my opinion, since you get exp and loot from the satyrs.

To all that have posted previously to this quest:
Please pull your selves together and post some useful information!

評論來自 Thottbot

It's due west from the emerald sanctuary, across the road - south of the Ruins of Constella. Takes forever for the felcloth to drop, but I got it with no prob at lvl 52, solo, lock.

Enjoy!

評論來自 Thottbot

37:69 around there is the satyrs wher you get fel cloth for quest the imp is at 41:44

評論來自 Thottbot

the trinket is very nifty, but as said above a lock at this level should always have shards... the staff is not worth it considering you can have the staff of jordan (like me) or the vexing cane from ZF easily by this point. Robes are the way to go, its like having +23 to spells for a lock, cuz all we do is fire and shadow... you wont get a better robe until tier 1

評論來自 Thottbot

If it seems to take 3 years to get 1 felcloth from Felwood--go to Azshara and get it. Legash Encampment at around 60,22. Got it in 7 kills @ level 50!

Good luck!

評論來自 Thottbot

After reading the directions: West of Emerald Sanctuary and South of Ruins of Constellas, I spent about 20 minutes looking for this damn place.

Look at the road in your map heading North from Ashenvale. It starts off going Northwest and then turns to head directly West (almost directly West of Emerald Sanctuary). Keep going West past that and a little South and you'll find Jadefire Glen.

評論來自 Thottbot

i found impsy at 42, 45

評論來自 Thottbot

I can confirm that the Satyrs are at 37:68.

The drop was a very rare one for me personally. I wiped the camp, including the green guy, three times before a random Satyr finally dropped the piece of felcloth.

I guess on the bright side, I horded enough mageweave to donate to Org... >.<

評論來自 Thottbot

i started killing satyrs in the sth western bit and no felcloth, so i keep going and it really bugged me after about 30 minutes .. luckily my guildie friend gave it to me providing i helped him down Kroshius for his lock quest.

i couldv easily bought it from ah but like an earlier person said b4, try and get it by killing them..u get exp and money so y not. good farming place for a level 52

The rewards are insane :
the staff aint that crash hot tho..not sure y evry1 so hyped up..
the robes and trinket are worth considering tho. depends on ur current talent spec I guess, if destruction then robes, but demonology u might get the trinket for later

評論來自 Thottbot

The trinket is a waste imho if your Demon spec. You wont use a void that often as you have the felguarde. The Robes are really nice unless like me and a lot of others now that BC is here b/c u can get robe of the void fairly easily. The staff looks pretty cool but really does not do that much more thn the Vexxing cane from ZF. The drop rate on felcloth is way improved. I farmed a full stack of them in about 2 hours on my lvl 70 pally.
Since BC is here all the rewards are not going to last all that long. I am getting the staff b/c it looks cool. I will have robe of the void soon and i will probably never use the trinket to summon a voidwalker. Thats my opinions

評論來自 Thottbot

If the drop rate's way improved, it must have been pretty bad to begin with. If you're not a level 70, but a level 50 who just got the quest from their trainer, trying to avoid the level 54 elite mob patrolling the satyr camp (and the felsworn are satyrs!), it may be slow going. I spent a half hour or hour killing satyrs last night with no felcloth yet. It's a fine way to grind out a half a level if you aren't lucky.

評論來自 Thottbot

got it on the 9th kill or so. it's useful to have the Corruption of the Jadefire quest as well so you can at least be completing another quest if the felcloth doesn't drop for a while.

評論來自 Thottbot

Just to make it perfectly clear: even though the quest says "Satyrs", none of the guys you have to kill have the word "satyr" in their name. They are called Felsworn Rogue and so on.

They do respawn quickly, but this is good. You only have to work on the first group of about 6 of them you come across, by the time you work you way through them and rest the first one you killed is coming back.

As a L50 Warlock I had no trouble taking on 2 or 3 of these L50 guys at once, my Felbeast was the perfect minion for this job. The Felcloth dropped after about 4 or 5 rounds of killing the first group of 6 satyrs.

評論來自 Thottbot

its on 37.68 in felwood.. got it 2nd kill :P

評論來自 Thottbot

Hi, how do i get to Felwood? I got flypath to Auberdine. But there is mountains every were to Felwood, pls answer.

評論來自 Thottbot

ok i found my way. (I am lev 50), if you got flypath to Ashenvale: Astranaar go there. if not fly to Auberdine and go(ride) to Ashenvale. Remember to get flypath in Astranaar. Then there is a entrance to Felwood from this region.

評論來自 Thottbot

What level is the lowest u can get this quest at?

評論來自 Thottbot

The Satyrs are levels 50-52. Watch out because some are stealthed and will attack as soon as they see you. Got the Felcloth after about 30 minutes.

評論來自 Thottbot

Why grind? Get at AH for 1.5G

評論來自 Thottbot

I just got two drops in 2 minutes. Coords 31.6, 67.2 If you go way back into the mountain. Clear back by a lvl 54 'Xavathras'.
Be wary of the stealthed 'Jadefire Shadowstalkers'.

The imp is at 42,45 as stated earlier. Right off the main road after you cross the bridge by bloodvenom falls.

評論來自 Thottbot

After about 40 minutes of grinding all the Satyrs, I finally got the Felcoth at 35,66 off of a Shadowstalker.

評論來自 Thottbot

The IMP is located at Felwood in Bloodvenom Fall: C.41.44

評論來自 Thottbot

Impsy is in Felwood. Heading north on the main road, just past Venomfalls and to the left, he'll be standing near the road. Check out the mini map for the yellow ? because if you can't see it, and you're on the main road, then he isn't near. Felcloth drops from the Satyr, which are located at the bottom left of Felwood, almost parallel to Emerald Santuary in Jadefire Glen they're lvl high 40, low 50, I think 48 to 52, but don't quote me. It's a very rare drop so be patient. If it seems hopeless, you can always try to buy it at the auction house, but it can hard to find even there, not to mention expensive.

評論來自 Thottbot

yeah, i like had to kill a million satyrs but it eventually droppt. also got some green dropps and some mana pots. still the droprate sux.

You can get the felcloth from ANY of the Satyr's that are directly SOUTH of Jadenar. The drop rate is bad...so keep grinding.....make sure you are on the quest FIRST, so it will drop sooner

fell after about 3 hours on a jadefire betaryer at 46, 15 i was expecting it off a jadefire satyr and ended and spent most my time just killing them.

評論來自 Allakhazam

I found it hard to get any Felcloth to drop, it took me ages and i was going to give up. so i Checked out where else i can get it from. Azshara is where i found the stuff but i had to kill a lot of Satyr to do it.

Check out (61,17) as there are a lot of Satyr there and you will not have to wait for them to respawn, even so be prepared for a lot of killing before it drops, drop rate on Felcloth is about 3.5%

The area is located 41,19 for the satyrs not 37,70. And when I arrived 2 other locks were there already and one gave me the felcloth for nothing!

評論來自 Allakhazam

Starts with An Imp's Request (this quest, collect 1 Felcloth). Leads to The Wrong Stuff (collect 10 Rotting Wood, 4 Bloodvenom Essence). That leads to Trolls of a Feather (collect 6 Voodoo Feathers from trolls in the Sunken Temple).

Reward is a choice between Soul Harvester, Abyss Shard, or Robes of Servitude. Full info and pictures on the official forums: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-warlock&t=574852&p=1&tmp=1#post574852

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I started this quest in Orgrimmar in the Cleft of Shadow (warlock trainer dude). Imspy is in Felwood, right beside Niby (coords 41,45 I think).

I cleared an entire lvl trying to get this felcloth, making such good xp I didn't want to fly back to the AH to buy it! After two days and several hundred satyrs I gave up Jadefire Glen for Jadefire Run and got the Felcloth on the third kill.

評論來自 Allakhazam

Some people are luckier than others. It takes only a short time for some to get the Fel drop but, it took me about three hours. I just grinded away on Satyrs in Jadefire Glen, in Felwood. Coords aren't necessary as once you get there you will see literally dozens of them. I got the first drop but, continued on to gain several more to sell. The mobs are levels 50-53. Anyone over level 50 should be able to do this fairly easy. Did it as a LvL 53 Lock. Good-luck.

What would be better for a lock with a destruction build, robes of servitude or the abyss shard. I like the + damage, but the no shard and mana for the walker is sweeeeet!

that felcloth never drops so just go buy it on AH.

As per a previous post I thought I would start in Jadefire Run , and got the Felcloth 2nd drop.

Which made me happy because I had left the Felcloth I had back in the bank ,lol

If you're like me and wondering why you can't get this quest;

It will not be implemented until phase 3.

Yes, like me, you can find a dark corner to cry in. You won't be getting that weapon or trinket today.
