Agreed with all of the above, this was far easier than the red level indicated. I got Swamp Talker with only 1 add {level 43}. Swamp Talker spawns one-hit adds every few seconds. They have a cast time so he can probably be interrupted, but they died easily enough to a pulse of consecrate so I wouldn't worry too much about them.

Odd thing for me was Fingat, a rare, came up from god knows where in the cave to join the battle when Swamp Talker was about 50%. He ran past several other mobs to get to me without agroing them, so I'm not sure if he's part of the fight or not. Just be aware of him.

Solo'd as a lv 45 stunlock daggers rogue. What possessed me to do this at lv 45, I don't know, but it worked. I was able to clear the room entirely (distracting and sapping Swamp Talker each time, just to be safe), then finally got down to the big guy himself. He was about as hard as any elite at my level, so with a couple cooldowns and a superior healing potion, I was able to take him down. I timed my stuns to interrupt most of his spirit summons... though I may have not given so much care to do so if I had known at the time that the summons could be one-shotted. >_<

yeah yeah but this dude spawn ramdon inside the cave

評論來自 72048

indeed very easy, lvl 52 MS warrior, took him down together with his 2 adds. Didnt even had to look for him since he was just around the corner when i entered cave. Only had to kill about 5 murcs inclu his adds to get to him. Pretty weird this quest is red, compaired to the easyness of the quest.

When you have the orders you should return to the fallen hero at the borders to blastedlands.

評論來自 Tyrsenus

Despite that this is a level 55 quest, it can be easily accomplished at level 48.

This is part of the long quest chain ending in You Are Rakh'likh, Demon.

Gives 8150 at level 48 (patch 2.3).

評論來自 104619

He also spawns around 64.13, 80.65

Found that out the hard way after I killed them and then my friend went and got the quest, we sat there waiting for 20 min for the respawn and he never came. Happened to check out the rest of the cave and found him lol.

評論來自 99583

Found him right inside the cave to the right (not the coords listed in the first comment.)

Also, the murlocs in the mouth of the cave respawn very fast, so you might want to pull him outside.

Very simple quest for the magician 46 levels. The impression is made, that the level of a quest is strongly overestimated.

評論來自 goldenarms

got 8150 exp for completing it when it was red

This is a quest in a chain of 23 that runs pretty much all over the map.
However, it all starts with the Fallen Hero of the Horde.
(Hat tip to Xeir for the initial connectors between chains.)

Technically, it's four chain quests that tie into each other:
Chain 1:
1. Fall From Grace
2. The Disgraced One
3. The Missing Orders
4. The Swamp Talker

Chain 2:
1. Petty Squabbles
2. A Tale of Sorrow
3. The Stones That Bind Us
4. Heroes of Old
5. Heroes of Old

Chain 3:
1. Kirith
2. The Cover of Darkness
3. The Demon Hunter
4. Loramus
5. Breaking the Ward
6. The Name of the Beast
7. The Name of the Beast
8. The Name of the Beast
9. Azsharite

Chain 4:
1. The Formation of Felbane
2. Enchanted Azsharite Fel Weaponry
3. Return to the Blasted Lands
4. Uniting the Shattered Amulet
5. You Are Rakh'likh, Demon

Completing the entire chain gives you the following:
103,685XP at appropriate level
Shard of Afrasa
Enchanted Azsharite Felbane (Dagger, Sword or Staff)
Necklace of Sanctuary
Demon's Blood
Demon Hide Sack

the swamp talker is in stagalbog cave or /tloc 65,77.
once you are in the cave go right and there he should be.
lvl 55 he summons one mob at a time lvl 40.
he should be easy to kill

評論來自 Thottbot

He's in the Stagalbog cave in the back just like on the map.

評論來自 Thottbot

take middle (straight) path when you get in cave, then wind left and around and you'll see him. cakewalk

評論來自 Thottbot

swamp talker was only level 50 for me, non elite

評論來自 Thottbot

nice quest. i found another rare npc in here named fingat, you guys might too. the swamp talker was easy to find, but it took me min to get to him because he's on raised platform that you gotta back track to. it circles around up a ramp, just clear the room and take him down. was easy for a 49 hunter, his summons dissapears when h dies, so just concentrate on killing him.

btw, i got a black, iridescent and GOLDEN pearl from the clams i got off these murlocks :D

評論來自 Thottbot

Gotta love how this whole tragedy is based on the fact that not one of the soldiers at the outpost could be bothered to make the 30 second walk to Stonard and actually ask where the orders were. Thrall maybe wise but his honourable heroes are somewhat lacking.

評論來自 Thottbot

after waiting long time at 63,88 i finally found him at 63,80 !

評論來自 Thottbot

Into the cave on your map at 66,76

Bear to the right until you get to a large cavern area on the cave map at:

62,88

He is there with company. Company is easily pulled off of him. Murlocs are all level 44 and he is level 50.

評論來自 Thottbot

The fallen of the Horde is not Bengor or the Ghost of the Murloc.
The direction of the Fallen of the Horde is 34,65.
He stands at the Entrance of "The desolated Lands (?)". In german "Die verwsteten Lande. It's near Stonard.

評論來自 Thottbot

Does anybody know the cords to find the fallen hero?

評論來自 Thottbot

Just keep going right and you'll find him surrounded of murlocs.

Cave entrance is in SOS 65,76

On way to Blasted Lands, ambushed.

So whatta hell they were doing at near that beach if they are going to Blasted lands? Thats not even that way! Stupid orcs.. :)

評論來自 Thottbot

Yeah, it was red for my level 49 shaman, but it was extremely easy. Those murlocs in there are 42-45 and the Talker himself is only level 50.

An easy kill.

評論來自 Thottbot

The fallen hero can be found at SOS 34,66. the entrance to the cave is SOS 65,76. Swamp talker is located there and surrounded by low lvl. Easy to do. Once I found Swamp talker I killed him and ran out. Did not worry about others. I'm a lvl 55 hunter. Good luck!

評論來自 Thottbot

Yeah lvl 48 Hunter. I nailed him and a rare elite spawn before him.

At lvl45 (orc warlock) I was doing Continued Threat and had read that the cave was good for the oracles. I remembered doing this quest on my hunter and that Swamptalker was lvl50 and that he could spawn way deep in the cave. Didn't think I'd have much success at my level. Took the quest anyway had got about 2.8k xp up until that point from the prelims.
Imagine my surprise I enter cave and first turn right there he was with two other murlocs walking around.

First attempt didn't go so well, mainly due to mobs respawning and aggro'ing in on the action. I was able to pull him away from the other two murlocs that wandered pretty close to him with a dot. He has little minions that pop up whilst your fighting him and he was resisting a lot of my dots/spells, wasn't for giving up though had got him down to about 10 percent before I keeled over.

Second attempt: Success, cleared area quickly, had to go back and kill one at entrance again, pulled him quickly with a dot and ran towards cave entrance, popped VW on him, dotted as best I could, drained life, he resisted quite a few and I had to chug down a mana potion midfight. Made sure there was a good distance between him and me, VW held minions for a while but they came after me, had to cast howl of terror. VW went down to about 25% health and I went down to about 30 to 40 percent mainly due to me using mana tap, risky.

If he had been further in the cave, I doubt I would have been able to kill him due to so many mobs being around the other spawn location, so got very lucky. I wonder too why it has a 55 on it.

Ps. My intent is not to boast about being able to do it at lvl45, just giving a detailed account of my experience with him. I do find reading other's experiences on quests very helpful.

lvl 52 warrior, peice of cake (solo)

I had this quest on the back burner, so many to do. he's in the cave, you have to kill a few mobs to get to him. When you do get to him, he has a few around him, so what i did was just charged him, killed him looted him, while the mobs were atacking me (np, i have almost 4000 in armor amd almost 3500 in health) then I just jump off the lil high rise he was on and headed for the outside.

As for as turning this in. Once you get back to the camp, leave out the main intrance and go west(look at your map) go just a lil bit till you get to the first road heading south toward the Blasted Lands and just a lil peice down there on your left by a fallen tree there he stands, The Fallen Hero (34,65)

評論來自 Thottbot

Think the reason the lvl of this quest is considered so high is because it is a horde pre-req quest of https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=2681/禁錮我們的石頭 (at least I couldn't see the quest till after I completed this) and that quest is quite hard... unlike this one which a rogue or druid could solo sooooo easily anyone else would just have to kill a few more low lvl trash mobs (42-44)

Very easy as a Lvl 50 warrior solo. Go straight into cave, take middle fork. It circles down to the left, then back up the right. Last area, built up rage before I went in. Charged Swamp Talker and ignored the others. Took magic damage from them, but killed him, looted and ran like crazy. They stop chasing after a while. Only used one greater healing pot. Then work your way back out. Easy 8,000 XP

Easy quest. I actually did this as a 54 warrior assuming it was a 55 quest. It is at best a level 50 quest although I still got 5650 xp. Went into cave at 66,76 and he was standing just off to the right once I cleared in. Level 43 mobs around him. Pulled him and one other, he is level 50, guard was 43. Probably spawns in multiple areas of the cave though based on earlier posts.

The turn in is not in the camp in Swamp of Sorrows, it is at the ghost guy by the entrance to Blasted Lands, Fallen Hero of the Horde, at 34,66.

This Quest was in red when I picked it up. Mage, lvl 49 solo'd this without a hint of difficulty. These mobs even drew solo when it came down to the boss. Great XP @ 8150. I couldn't be happier. :)

And yes, I did fight all the way to the top of the spiral, but it was so worth it. Gold, black and iridescent pearls were dropping all over the place.
I'll be back just for the pearls ;)

Lvl 50 non-elite murloc, found him inside the cave.

評論來自 Allakhazam

entrance of cave is at 66-76, its on the southeast row of rocks going to the coast, in an area with loads of spiders. The mob is in the middle of the cave, has a few helpers around him. non-elite

評論來自 Allakhazam

Was there a reason for this being 55? At level 52, this quest was Orange to me. I got to 53, went to do it (It was now yellow) and found every mob inside gray to me.

Should really be alevel 48 or 47 quest. Really isn't necessary to be 55.

評論來自 Allakhazam

Does seem to be mislabeled. Did this at 57, so the quest being 55 was still yellow. The mobs were grey and swamp talker was green: Was very easy to wander in right next to those murlocs, who being grey mostly didn't aggro, find swamp talker, and take him out in a few seconds

評論來自 Allakhazam

In the cave 65,75 way inside on a top of a parapet one proceeds up a spiraling path is where "swamp talker" is located. It is just a murloc 50th level. 45th levels (3) around him.]

評論來自 Allakhazam

I have done this quest twice now (Abandoned it and restarted becuase I thought I did something wrong) and cant figure out how to turn it in. Its impossible to talk to Bengor after he gives you the quest. Anyone have any Idea?

評論來自 Allakhazam

You turn it in to an orc known as "The Fallen Hero of the Horde." He is standing along the trail leading to The Blasted Lands, south of Stonard.

評論來自 Allakhazam

This q is a joke. It's still yellow at 54 but most of the mobs are L42 and you get no exp for them. The swamp talker is L50, so I guess this is soloable with decent gear at about 48.

評論來自 Allakhazam

Found him at 62,89 (the southernmost part of the cave)

評論來自 Allakhazam

the swamp talker is in stagalbog cave or /tloc 65,77.

評論來自 Allakhazam

I'm glad I read these posts or I might have waited too long to go after this one. Yes, there is no doubt that this should be something along the order of a high 40's quest or lower. My level 50 Warlock w/VW killed everything we met in the cave and never agro'ed anything besides the target. I would advise killing all you meet as the murlocs I killed dropped two golden pearls and one gray one inside of clams. Definitely worth the time it took to find the very wimpy level 50 "Talker." Exceptionally easy for a level 50.

評論來自 Allakhazam

5650 XP @ lvl 57 + 600 XP to just listen to his story and get follow q. Talker mob was just on the right as you enter cave, took 10 mins to get there, kill it and return q.

評論來自 Allakhazam

Gained 5650 exp pts at level 49. Leads to 'A Tale of Sorrow' quest, then 'The Stones That Bind Us' quest.

Found the Swamp Talker just inside the cave (on the right), the next day he was all the way at the opposite end of the cave.

Also spawns at 64, 80 (to the right just after you enter the cave) if you don't see him in the back or if someone just killed him there check that location. I wasted 30m for him to respawn in the back only to find him up by the front.

評論來自 geekygirlish

Done this twice at lower level, just finished with my 45 lock. The murloc you have to kill for the orders spawned in two different places. The first time he was at the back, the second just inside the entrance to the right which was great. He is lvl 50 but not elite and he spawns a swamp creature thing while you fight him. And there is usually an add or two around him. Succubus charmed the add and he went down pretty easily. Make sure you clear to the entrance in case you need to make a run for it. And altho the quest was red for me when I did it both times, it is doable at lvl 45 when you obtain it.

評論來自 Etreum

If you see his body at the back of the cave 61,84 be ready to wait. It is at the very least a 10 minute respawn.

評論來自 Gannon

Easiest thing to do is, when you get in the cave, /target Swamp, then put a raid icon on him so you can see where he is in the cave system. Will save time from running in circles looking for a mob that you don't know if it's there or not.

評論來自 WokkaD

The cave entrance is at 66 75.

Also, make sure that you have 海中的威脅 or 海中的威脅 from 卡塔爾 as well. This is part of the 缺乏補給 quest chain.
