easy encounter, you just need a well geared tank to keep defenders.. tanks with good reflexes re pref for adds (but pala tank would be awesome) after you killing the adds all ranged should go on channelers (before next pack they should get back to their position ofcourse) .. after shade walks toward akama just nuke him to death.. you dont need a tank anymore akama tanks it.. you should kill him before akama dies(it takes one minute) save all of your cd's for the shade to gurantee it.

and gz on your free epics.

if your raid is good enough to kill first 4 bosses of hyjal it would take just two or three shots to take him down.

akama is good but on the other hand his shade is evil and serves illidan (akama is a broken/demon from all this time he has involved from a dreanei to a broken to a demon broken thing from the corruption)

Trash of Akama would be more fitting. As long as your tanks don't suck this is easier than the Chess-Event in Karazhan.

i oug i was with once wiped on chesss event saddest thing EVER! evry 1 was retarded and just killed the pawns and they woudnt heal or leadre:( and we all diedsadely

Once you have cleared all the mobs in the room the real Akama not the shade will appear near the entrance of the room.
Speak to him to start the encounter.
Then protect him until he completes his casting.
