I would recommend killing these on sight. The Ivory Tusks that drop are turned in 3 at a time at the Consortium camp for this quest: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=9914. The first turn-in is 10,000 exp and repeated turn-ins gives more reputation.

If you're a Jewelcrafter, you should kill every damn one of these you see and get the tusks they drop. As said above they are turned in for Consortium rep.

You need to be exalted with the consortium to buy the rare Jewelcrafting recipes inside Karazhan.

3 tusks can be turned in for 250 consortium rep until friendly, then you'll need to start the warbead turnin process

id suggest you dont just go roaming all over nagrand to find them cause if you the quest that are offered here you will come across them

the Tusks have a 100% drop rate on the Wild Elekks only, it seems the bulls dont drop them

i have seen these drop thick clefthoof leather from skinning. other elekks do as well. i do not know why.

Had 100% drop rate (maybe I was lucky on drops for the pristine ivory tusks)
Wild Elekk are outside the town of Garadar, Nagrand.
