Alright, this is how I look at it. You will get a certain amount of training points as you level a pet to best fried. If the pet already comes with several abilities, this does not take up the training points. Therefore this (the Razorfang) is not the best ravager to get in Hellfire,

The quillfang ravager comes with Gore 8 and Bite 8 onboard, making it a much better selection unless color matters. There should be level 61s available, and this is the one I am getting.

if anyone knows that my assumptions are incorrect, please explain further.

I am a little more fond of scorpids though.

I'm a Blood Elf hunter but I wanted a ravager. At level 40 my brother on his lvl 10 hunter alt and I went to Azuremyst (not an easy trip with a lvl 10). To get there as a Horde player you must drown yourself underneath the ship that goes to Azuremyst and res on board when it arrives. To the North East Corner there are a bunch of Ravager Specimens. We each tamed one and hearthed.

I am now levl 52 and still have that ravager. It is by far the best pet I've had (and I've tried pretty much everything). I'm ocnsidering getting this one in place of the Specimen for the looks. I REALLY reccommend ravagers as pets.

How do you get Gore? Just tamed a ravager and didn't get it

as of patch 2.1.0 you can now tame them

So, is it worth taming? Would anyone recommend this one over Bangalash?
