The Super-Seller 680 and Vendor-Tron 1000 are part of a scripted caravan that travels between two points in Desolace. The 680 appears when the caravan reaches the southern location, and the 1000 appears when it reaches the northern location. The two robots sell different sets of items.

When the caravan is at the southern location, one of the two goblins tells you that the 1000 should be set up at the northern location in an hour, but it only seems to take them 15-20 minutes to make the trip and the robot appears immediately. They seem to stay at each location for no more than 10 minutes.

There are quest for escorting them both directions. If a said person helps them by doing the quest, the travel time will take longer between the two points.

The robots travel the roads from Kormek's Hut (60, 39) in the north to just next to Gelkis Village (40, 79) in the south.

I tested this today.
Vendor-Tron 1000 stayed for about 13 minutes,
Super-Seller set up about 12 minutes later, and stayed for about 11 min.
The return trip north was about 12 minutes too.
both travel times include a stop early on to yell for guards.
Sadly, I did not think that there might actually be a quest at that point.

I paid this robot a visit today to get some cooking recipes. What really puzzles me is the dialogue that popped up when I clicked on him. He said the following: "DISCOVERY! Celia has discovered the Super Rejuvenation Potion recipe!".

My character Celia is level 37 and has tailoring and enchanting as professions. What's scary though, is that this recipe is the last one I discovered on my main, which is a character of the other faction, and even on another server. It has a different name as well.

Does anybody know what this is about? Pretty weird stuff.

I was sitting at 41,79 for close to 10 minutes waiting for people to show up for a quest and the caravan just sat there. I think that's the spawn point.

Has anybody seen either the engineering or tailoring recipes recently? I've been checking the super-seller for the last couple days and havent seen either. I've bought a big bear steak recipe, and THAT has been restocked. But only cooking recipes are there now.

Im looking for this but when they say "Limited Supply (1)", what does that mean? Does that mean there is only on on each server and it never comes back once bought, or it respns later after its bought? I dunno, but help would be appreciated.

I found him and he doesn't sell the patterns anymore (nor the schemetics)

The Pattern I was looking for was for "Crimson silk cloak", But all the people that are suppose to sell it don't sell it :/

He no longer sells plans for things like goblin jumper cables. Just has the food recipies and other items. Not too much thats special really.

They travel the roads from kormeks hut (60, 39) to just next to gelkis village (40, 79)

They wait at each point for 10 minutes then move back the way they came.

There are escort quests for each way.

Bodyguard for hire from north to south and Gizelton caravan from south to north. I didnt test to see if these quests were repeatable. I didn't test if they would move on if you didnt do these quests.

During the quests they travel at walking speed, When not on the quests they move at just under running speed.
I dont know how long it takes to travel between the 2 points because the escort keeps it from being exact, but its roughly 13 minutes. I dont know the travel time if no one does the escort quests.

At north point they sell a bunch of cooking recipes
At south point they also sell recipe's (better ones) but scrolls as well.

North point bot one seems to act as a trade supplier and south point bot seems to work as a general supplier as well as the limited supply items mentioned.

Desolace caravan goes up & down its route, taking about 20 minutes each way & stopping for 10 minutes at each end.
When its at north end stop just west of Kormek's Hut at 60,38 it spawns Vendor-tron 1000 robot.
When at its south end stop west of Mannoroc Canyon at 40,79, it spwans Super-Seller 680 robot.

Each robot sells Limit 1 supply recipe.
But if you buy out all the recipe of a single type & want more, wait for it to go to other end then come back. When it respawns again all its items will be restocked & you can buy more of the same recipe again (still Limit 1 though).

If its a recipe the one faction can get easy & other can't, like Carrion Suprise which horde can get easy but alliance can't, you can also just get on a horde alt to buy it & put in neutral auction house. Then get a friend to buy it & mail it to you.

Just followed him to the southern point and watched them unpack the 680. He did not have any engineer recipes (which was the reason I came) I suspect he only spawns with the engineer recipe once in a while or Blizzard changed it so he no longer vendors them.

they are always WANDERing cause of this they are called caravan.. they are always between KROMEK'S HUT and the shown place on the map here.the kromek hut is under thunder axe fortress and a bit to the east. there is a quest givers. now the seller isnt super seller 680 if not vendor tron 1000.

When I clicked on the robot, it said at the top of its chat box "Narabei has discovered super rejuvenation potion recipe!" ...But I can't seem to find a recipe in my inventory, and I don't see anything in my alchemy list. Does anybody know what I'm to do with this?

After a little over 40 minutes I started walking towards the Coven, halfway through I saw 2 goblins and 2 kodos, I followed them out and they stopped where they were supposed to, just in case anyone was wondering. :P

If you are looking for this vendor you should go to desolace int the south part of it to the cross(->check it in thze map here). If you can see anyone you should wait some mins maybe 10 or more, coz -as technoeq said- he wanders with the caravan. when i came here a bit norther i have met with them but i didnt know that i need him. they have run in the front of me. 2 kodo and 2 goblins.. tehy looks likethe maintain of npc-s in ratchet. but if they stand there by the cross there will be the little robot too. thats what you need. i hope i could help

Having read the comments below I was a little confused so at 5.30am (my son woke up and then fell asleep on me) I decided to go buy the engineering recipes from these goblins and their vending machines.

Short version: I don't think (as everyone else has said) that they sell the engineering recipes any more but they were easily obtainable from other listed vendor in Stonetalon, Alterac etc.

I met up with the caravan at the point shown (40,79) - initially they were running down the road from Mannroc but turned a small loop and stopped just by the fork in the road. Although it was early AM and on a low population server I could not but any Engineering recipes. The Super-Seller 680 which is deployed at this stop had a number of scrolls (agility, strenght etc.) and cooking recipes. I was allowed to speak to one of the goblins who informed me that his Super-Seller was going to outsell his bro's Vendor-Tron 1000. At this point I went AFK to attend my son, when I got back approximately 5-7 minutes later they were slightly further along the road and stopped just before Mannroc and one of the goblins gave the quest for the escort which I declined as I was too sleepy. They then set off at a pace along the road, past the coven, forked east at the goblin hut and then followed the road as it bends north past the centaurs. They then follow the road and bend west until they reached Kormek's Hut (NE corner of the Kodo graveyard). Here they stopped again having looped round a little and deployed the Vendor-Tron 1000. It sold some engineering suplies, some pots and different cooking recipes. I presume that they then after a while take the same route but in reverse. As mentioned above the other listed vendors in the other locations seem to have the recipes.

Update: So I decided to purchase the ice deflector from the gnome in Alterac. After 3 unsuccessful attempts (including some at ungodly hours - Monday 4am) I did manage to get the recipe. My attempts were evenly spread over the period of a day so I imagine that they might have fairly slow spawn rates.

Caravan travel from north point of Gelkis village to Kormek's Hut through Mannoroc Coven, along trench. For short time they camping on both points. In every points they let go robot-traders: Vendor-Tron 1000 on south, and Super-Seller 680 on north. Also they give 2 quests for escorting, if u follow they.

He can be found where they show him on the map or his other stop at 60, 38. you will not see the seller until the caravan stops.

Yes, no Schematics/Patterns, I was there twice and second time they just returned from journey so Super-Seller 680 had refreshed stuff, but there were only cooking recipes (no Schematics/Patterns)

The marked location is correct.

Super Seller 680 is part of a goblin caravan that travels from the goblin outpost just east of the Kodo Graveyard, through Mannoroc Coven, to the indicated area on the map.

They make this journey every 20 minutes or so.

All of the recipes are limited stock - one copy per item, per journey.

I've been at 40,79 for an hour now. No caravan, no robot. Double-checked the location and I'm at the correct spot and have been watching the whole time.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Started riding east a couple mins later and they were on the way.

Annoying to read these comments and not getting the message across clearly and succinctly, so here goes:

This is one of two rare robot vendors in Desolace. Each sells some cool limited supply recipes, primarily the 5 ones you will see in the link above. These recipes are important because they help you level cooking with mats that are easy to find, the catch is that the recipes themselves are limited supply. The key is Cork Gizzelton's caravan and you will find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (or in this case, in the end of his travel pattern). Cork just goes back and forth in a backwards "C" path from the middle of the map to the eastern road, then along the southern road where he'll stop by Gelkis Village.

So follow Cork Gizzleton and his kodos and grab the escort quest, if you haven't already done it. Cork goes from the north by Kormek's Hut down around the road and past the Kolkar Village and swings along the main southern thoroughfare running east to west. He ends at the Gelkis Village by Shadowprey Village (the lower LEFT aka Southwest corner of the map). BOOM, the Super-Seller spawns right next to him, which is a small robot.

In sum, where Cork ends at the south, the Super-Seller spawns next to him. Where he ends at the north, the Vendor-Tron spawns next to him. Lather, rinse, repeat. Just follow Cork's ass until he stops and the robot vendor appears next to him, it's that simple. He will keep doing this over and over unless he is killed if you mess up the escort quest.

For the SoD crowd, looking to farm Scrolls off this vendor... Have you ever wondered why sometimes it takes hours for the caravan to roll in, if at all?

I suspect Blizz used some sort of triggered scripting for the caravan movement. Kind of like when you enter a zone and no one else is around, not has been for a long time and the npcs suddenly all self-buff simultaneously? This is because their scripting is dependent on the presence of a player. No player, no script trigger...

So the caravan seems to have a few different points in its round trip where if no players are around, it will just sit there. But as soon as someone gets close to it, it wakes up and starts moving. Since Desolace is essentially a "dead" zone where there is no applicable content for players at level 25, *and* most farming routes do not align with the caravan route, it can get stuck in an unpopulated area, waiting for someone to come alone and trigger its next script.

TL;DR - You can't reliably wait for the caravan, escort it to ensure the fastest trip.
