i was always bothered by the fact that i got my 19 twink rogue to 19 without getting the shoulders that gave +3 stamina, simply because i hadn't known about them until it was too late. luckily however, i logged in after the latest patch and to my surprise i saw a few of these and the other BoP shoulders on the auction house. Some smart person put a whole bunch of these shoulders on the auction house just before the patch, when they were just a common item. so after the patch there were a whole lot of them there after they had been changed to a blue item that was bind on pickup. i was so lucky/happy, i didn't even know that there were plans to change the shoulders so i was really surprised. So for that brief span i was able to buy BoP shoulders on the AH which became soulbound when i picked them up from the mailbox. Sure the person listed them for 10g each but i'm kind of rich and it was worth every penny. i probably would have even payed more for them too. It was such a cool situation where everyone wins. i got these new shoulders without having to go to WC and worry about possibly hitting lvl 20, and the person who put them up makes big bucks. thanks whoever did that, these new shoulders totally rock!

Wow, how sad of Blizzard to help assist and advocate twinking by adding not only 1 blue shoulder item, but two. And on top of that, avoiding even adding not even a single blue shoulder slot for mail or cloth wearers (how even is that?). Considering most of the characters twinked are either Rogue or Hunter, just goes to show where their priorities are on this subject matter.

And before anyone calls a witch hunt, mind you that I have three twinks that I've enjoyed and am not initially against twinking, but rather opposed to their ignorance on the issue (the fact is, people know it's a problem and feel it should be controlled).

I stealthed into WC with my 19 twink found her and killed her got my shoulders was pretty simple. Not even the mob of nob horde bothered me I raped them all lol!

i was out of time to play for a long time and when i again started playing after a long time! out of nowhere in my inventory has appeared these awesome shoulders . anybody else expeirenced this!

To anyone complaining about having a twink before 2.3 and not being able to get this:

1. Get anyone who can clear the start of wailing caverns

2. You and that person then goto WC, ungroup and get them to clear ahead on the way in to avoid getting any xp

3. Wait outside the instance while they clear the mobs upto Lady Anacondra and any that will pull onto you, as well get them to clear some of the crocodiles under where she is.

4. Zone in, walk to the cliff and jump into the shallow water, stand as close to where Lady Anacondra is in the water area below her as possible (stand against the cliff as close to her as you can).

5. Make sure you have loot set to Group Loot

6. Get your friend to use a weak attack to pull her to above where you are standing, then have them kill her and loot her.

Gratz! 50% chance to drop roughly and you had to get xp from 3 mobs at the most if you did this properly.

Also the higher the level of the other player the less xp you'll get, if your real worried bring like 4 70s or something :S.

If you dont need anymore XP then Clear the whole place with your 70(Domonkashu)(Kul Tiras)-19(MilkLeonidas)OP HUNTER Twink. When your done clearing bring your twink with the 70 have the twink start the boss and fight him and die then have the 70 kill the boss Group loot FTW and have the twink Need on them there yours.

I had a lvl 19 hunter, with almost the best of everything. Except good shoulders I farmed these (when they were white) and kept on trying to get a 13 dodge rating on them by mailing them when attaching the thing, i finnally got it too work and whaddayaknow? the next time i log in after the patch i got these 9 agil shoulders with 13 dodge rating =D time to seriously kick some $%#

Hmmm i have a big problem. ive got a lvl 19 rogue twink 400xp off ding (half bar) and i rly need the shoulders, i havent even discovered WC or barrens uet but i discovered ratchet, if a lock could summon me in an instance would i skip the discoverin?
If i discover WC will i get over 400xp?

This is THE trick to get anything in any instance even if you have 1 xp left and want phat loot.

If you haven't been to Ratchet f.i. or afraid of getting xp because you accidentally kill a mob or discover anythin let a Warlock summon you outside the entrance of the instance which is, obviously, cleared of mobs. Otherwise just get there.

Stay outside when 70 (or lower, you can solo VC now at 28) clears the whole instance or atleast till the boss you need including the adds if possible.

This you old twinks have probably done a zillion times to get to f.i. those damned leggings of the fang (sweet old school before the armor kit affaire ;-)) or any other worse droprate ever loot.

Now 1) have group loot on 2) Let the boss attack and kill you first BEFORE your mate kills it. 3) Wait when dead DO NOT RESSURECT, so you can loot the item. This we have done many many times in our old guild.

Congratulations, you have very good friends in WOW and NO XP.

Na, u don't have to, run in with a high level and get kill, don't release.

High level set to master loot, after kill, master loot can send loot to who ever in the group.

I dont know why everyone thinks talbar mantle is better for rouges.It gives 6 intellect which is useless to rouges. It also gives 3 stamina but for a twink 3 stamina wont matter much. Theese give +9 agility which is great for rouges.

talbar mantle were "the shoulders" to have prior to the latest patch, because no other sub-19 shoulders gave any stats, so the 3 stamina was a big deal. look at what those willing to pay for 9 stamina vs 7 stamina on the sub-19 bracers. that 2 more is how much more gold.....exactly :) 2 here, 3 there...adds up

yea about that... level 19s running around with level 60+ enchants spamming 1 button... sinister strike... cough cough. and they got the gutts to say they can kill a level 30 that uses only quest rewards and probably got to that level in a week. have fun @ 10-19 bracket...

Worth getting for Rogues, Druids and maybe Hunters. These shoulders are better than the ones from SFK (only gives 8 Agility).

These where white on my lvl 19 twink and very happy to see them go blue.
As for xp problems get a hunter or warlock to run your through...their pet will kill everything and I'm pretty sure things that the pets kills with no assistance from the warlock or you it dies no loot or xp, I ran my twink on my alt account and she got no x-p since my pet just killed everything but bosses but that was some time ago so I hope you don;t get any xp from your pet purely killing things.

As for the boss like everyone suggested die and you get no xp if you get a lock it's even better cause ask them to SS you so you can loot rez up and hearth.

Finally got around to getting these the other day for my hunter (circumstances prevented me prior to). I had a friend take me on her 70 hunter. We grouped the entire time...have your friends pet do all the attacking...can't loot..and even green mobs I got no XP on. Once there I waited outside the instance to be safe until all but Anacondra remained. Went in, downed her...got 166 rested XP (no biggie, I'm only like 5 bars in) and shoulders on first drop...hearth out and good to go.

IT DOES DROP OFF LADY ANACONDRIA every time you kill her, good for twink rogues but hard to get to WC if you are an ally. Harder even to find a group lol.

These do drop every time, as far as i have seen. And as someone has mentioned, they are definitely better than the shoulders obtained in SFK. And since a character is likely to get these around lvl 20 or so, these'll probably be your first shoulders, and not a bad one at that. I say, good for all leather wearers.

this are currently non bind shoulders. get them now for your twink rogue. after the patch they with be bop and give +9 agility. it is part of the old world loot retooling they are doing on items.you can check them out on wowhead

My twink already had Scouting Spaulders when these dropped a few months back. They were white with the same stats as Scouting Spaulders back then.

I almost vendored them (or AHed) but couldn't decide which colour I preferred with the rest of my gear.

I kept them both.

Today I log on and see I have the pimpest pair of twink shoulders ever. Very glad I couldn't decide on colour now :)

hey, these just dropped from lady anacondra. I was farming for deviate scales and perfect deviate scales with my druid to macke deviate scale belt and these dropped, they were wight at the time so i mailed them to my twink (lvl 19 draeni shaman) so that she could use them. Then next afternoon i went on and i had to install the patch. When i got on i checked my mail and there they were a blue which i didnt even know about, they may not have any spetiall types of bufs but they have good armour for sutch a low level.

I just logged onto my druid with great surprise that these were now blue. Kick ass. Although, I don't believe Rugged Spaulders should be blue too. 90% drope rte on the spaulders.

Opens a whole new era of twinkage though. Not to mention the Blue fang series now. O well. We deserve it punk ass alliance got the chest and all those awsome blues from dm, Bout time we get an equivalant.
