Well this isn't the first set of mail shoulders that a character can wear, but it IS the first set that a character can make. The Rough Bronze set doesn't look too bad, and the stats are decent (although the cuirass sucks). The main thing holding these shoulders back is that you need a shadowgem to make them.

Why is it that leatherworking's first set of Shoulders comes with stat bonuses, yet blacksmithing does not and the mats for these shoulders are worth more than the leather ones? Anyone else find this to be messed up?

Because Paladins and Warriors are imba against rogues and druids at those levels, and they need armor more then anything else. :)

But yes, these should cost a little less.

Shadow gems are so easy to find, out of 100 copper ores i got 35 Shadow gems and there are so much copper veins
