I think Enhancement Shamans have the same right to roll on these as hunters, they dont have to ask just because there's a hunter in the group. The only other gloves I found that was decent for pre-Kara was Ar'tor's Mainstay from that extremely long chain. Hunters dont have monopoly on melee mail anymore.

They are really good for Enhance Shamans and Hunters, The Agility and attack power givs a great boost.

I were in heroic mech, hoping for either Sun Eater or Vanquisher Legplates dropped, since of the patch.... then i loot him and look for the epic.. guess what dropped? these pair of gloves :( I got really pissed, since i thought i'd get something useful, because of the patch (100% drop chance on epic from last boss), which would give me 66.66% chance on getting something usefull...

Anyway, if you want these gloves, then it's Heroic Mechanar - Pathaleon the Calculator

Dunno, drop rate seems off, or I'm just plain unlucky. Downed Panthaleon 6 times in heroic and this hasn't dropped yet. Will down him again in three hours, let's hope I get lucky this time XD.

Got these today on my frst Mech Heroic run after the patch. The drop rate should be ofc much better than this mentioned atm (0.2%). It's funny cz I didn't know these could also drop, so it was a really pleasant surprise for my hunter.

I just got them yesterday... they seem to drop a lot (but with only 4 epics I guess the rate has to be 25%). My main concern is that they're not much of an upgrade from my Beast Lord gloves (even without counting the set bonus). I wish Blizz would make the epics worthwile. I haven't done the exact numbers but I think I gained a little bit of AP and lost some Crit (obviously I gained quite a bit of armor etc but since when was that of utmost importance for a hunter?).

Dropped for me last night in Heroic Mech, was suprised b/c I'd not heard of them. True, it's only a slight upgrade over the Beast Lord gloves, b/c the loss of the sockets is not very nice. But the +AP and the +Stam and +Int is nice, b/c if you notice the stats on the T4, it seems that Blizz is really trying to push Hunters away from +Agi and towards raw +AP/Crit bonuses, so the larger mana pool (which boosts AP if ur MM specced) and the additional stam is actually nice for both pve (think those instances in raids where everyone takes damage) or pvp.

These just dropped for me in Heroic Mech! Pretty happy cuz I was just filling in for last boss :P Gunna replace em with Felfury Gauntlets once my crafter gets the Nether... But hey they arent too shabby, just slap an assault on em :D

Six full clears on Heroic. Still no gauntlets. Why do you hate me blizz? (13 SL runs before Murmur dropped Sonic spear, 15 BM runs and still no Hourglass....if there is a god he hates me -_-)

I've just got them now, it's taken me 7 runs to get them. Luckily i was also farming badges for my shiny Blood Elf cloak as well.

ive done mech 22 times for vanquishers legs, these have droped 17 times and the boots the other 5 times!

never have vanquishers kegs or even sun eater droped!

this instance is rle getting to me lol, so when i do finally get them, i vow to never do it again! :)

hey if it doesnt drop for u oky try again,your just not lucky as others,plus u get heroic badges so runing the instance isnt worthless,and besides u can run heroics 2 times a day,it resets at 12 pm every day(afternoon) just get a group at 9-10 ,then run it after 12 again the same day.

I just started doing heroic Mech runs a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have run it 11 times in hopes of getting the Sun Eater. These gauntlets have dropped 8 times, cloth boots twice and the legplates dropped last night. For those of you that think the drop rate should be higher, you must not be running the same instance.

Update:
I have now run this place 19 times in 3.5 weeks.

Cloth boots- 3 times
Legplates- 3 times
Handguards- 13 times

Why do all the good drops say they have a hella low chance of dropping in a non heroic? are there any confirmations of these drops?

I run Heroic Mech with a friend practically every night and the drop rate of these POS gloves are actually 100%.

Been heroic mech over 30 times now for these gloves.
Still no luck, Sun Eater has dropped 5 times.
At least im gettin some badges, but this is just unfair

These dropped for me today along with the Beast Lord Helm in Heroic Mech. First time I ever did Mech. I'm guessing it's going to take about 30 runs to get my trinket now.
