I got the receipe today off the AH (999g) and built them. Those are the best elemental shaman boots ingame. Similar to those are

but the Hurrican Boots top them all!

Just too bad they are BoP, so I cant earn the money for that receipe back :<

They are very nice boots, but for the price? It really doesn't seem worth it considering what it's being sold for.

The alternative to either, if you're casual or just don't belong to a guild that far in progression, would be the new Pvp Boots.

I dont know how true this is but..... I heard a rumor that they are changing this Pattern/make to have the pattern as BoP and the boots BoE. Does anyone know any truth to that??

I bought the pattern tonight for 450g. Very pleased - considering what it seems to be going for elsewhere. Considering I doubt I will ever get to SSC, The Eye, or Black Temple, I'm VERY pleased.

I picked up the pattern for 289 Gold on Dalaran US. I have crafted the boots and wear them in my Elemental set. I am gathering mats currently for the Netherstrike set.

Note that these don't require Leatherworking to use, even though they bind on pickup. That means you can unlearn LW and keep using the boots.

Got my pattern from AH today, for 84g. Maybe I'm lucky,I don't want to spend hundreds of gold to get it when I reach 375 LW skill, so I'm ready to have Netherstrike Armor set + Hurricane Boots! Yeee - haw:)

Yeah... I am not sure how many ppls have this, but I bought it from the guild Death Wish on Cho'gall for 1100g. Pretty sure they are the best boots for elemental shaman atm! The pattern dropped from Lady Vashj in SSC.

I dropped the pattern this week on trash mobs @ SSC in the way to kill The Lurker Below.
The ones dropping on Gruul are an alternative :
Windshear Boots
605 Armor
+37 Stamina
+32 Intellect
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 39.
Equip: Improves spell hit rating by 18.

There are patterns for Tailoring, Leatherworking, and Blacksmithing. They drop off of anything, trash or boss (though bosses have no difference in drop rate) in either SSC or TK. The same patterns in SSC are also in TK. All patterns are BoE, and can be sold on the AH once all you guild's crafters and alts have the pattern (this is beginning to be the case for my guild and the Boots of Blasting pattern). There are belts and boots that can be crafted. Once crafted, all belts are BoE, and require two nether vortexes, which are also dropped off trash and bosses in SSC and TK. All boot patterns require two primal nethers, and are BoP once crafted.

yeah, well, I almost made the same mistake earlier.

When in the AH, I always check to see if there is some pattern that drops that i don't already know.

Last night, i was tired, abut to log out, and this pattern popped up. I just scanned it, and - missing the mail part (as well as the BoP, which basically makes them Bind on Creation), I almost bought the pattern out for 400g. What perfect casting boots to go with my other pieces!, I thought -

Then, i considered bidding at 350g instead. Finally, i decided to sleep on it, and check to see where bids were at today.

Sleep was a good choice. Because, as a Druidess (and not even an enchantress, at that), it *WOULD* have been a stupid waste of gold for me.

I bought the pattern in lvl 65 for 500g. I though i was the luckiest guy on the planet getting it so cheap, but well..
Now im lvl 70 and the pattern sells for 200g BUYOUT on ah..
so whine whine from here.

Can someone clarify for me? These boots are BoP, which is basically soulbound as soon a made. So unless you are a leatherworker who wears mail this pattern is useless. Do I have this correct, and are there many leatherworkers who wear mail?

PS- anyone else think BoP sux?

Since these boots are "only" 7 spell damage and 6 Mp5 better then Veteran's Mail boots, I'd like to make one small point in favor of them.

Primal nether's can be easy to come buy, if you set up your heroics right...
Gold for rest of mats = Small amount of faming
If you're already 375 LW...

These can be cheap-ish to make.

Yes, you can still go farm honor for boots, but hey! why not spend those HOURS and HOURS of av farming on another piece of equipment =)

Me, I just hit 70 2 days ago, walking into a BT guild, got the pattern from a friend, 370 Leatherworker (got the mats to go to 375 as soon as I run durnholde keep/Black Morass) and the first thing I NEED to purchase from honor is the improved PvP trinket for Archimonde. I will have these boots made within a week, and the honor to farm them would take me 2 days of AV weekend, or more time then i can afford for at least 2 weeks.
