This is one of the few paladin items where I'd advice you to ignore the socket colour and bonus. Decent blue gems are hard to find, with the exception of Royal Nightseye (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24057). For my gauntlets I used 2 +18 healing gems. The set bonus of +45 mana is equivalent to little more healing (its a quarter of a flash heal, so about 300 healing for a normal paladin, or 350-400 if you are stacking +1500 healing) But +36 healing over the long duration of a fight should amount to a lot more than this.

These are actually an excellent choice for a stamina set, IMO. Two solid stars of elune and you've got 40 stamina and decent healing stats, throw on the heal power enchant and they're a great pair of healing gloves that gives you a chunk of survivability.

Considering how many "you must be this tall to ride" (i.e. 9k hp minimum) encounters there are in raiding at this point, it is worthwhile for everyone who wants to beat Gruul, Doomwalker, and some of the other 25-man bosses to have a stamina set that offers a beefy life total without crippling your primary stats.

Wait, how is Royal Nightseye the best gem larkhainan? In a raid I have flask of restoration on me, aswell as numerous other pots/elixirs/mana oils. I can easily get nigh on unlimited mana for an encounter. Healing on the other hand (and spell crit too) is something that I can never get enough of. I'd much rather have +36 healing than +18 healing and 4 mana / 5 seconds.

Why would royal nightseye be the best? I would prefer intel OR healing to mana regain (intel is double in that it gives mana and the crit chance, and counts even more for mana b/c we get free crits).

No more free crit heals for Paladins (at least not for much longer), so I'd advise sticking with mp/5. I went with two Royal Nightseyes.

With patch 2.1.2, they changed the look of these significantly (see new screenshot). Gone is the green highlighting; now, they're fingerless gloves in brown and grey.

I recently socketed my Gauntlets of Renewed Hope with Teardrop Living Rubies. The +3 Int bonus isn't really worth it anyways, so, why not!

+4 Mp5 doesn't seem to warrant not getting +36 healing instead.

Socket these right and you'll find no need to roll on the t4 gloves. Not that the 2 set bonus from holy pally t4 is something that you'd jump at anyway... Great for getting a few extra gem slots if you need to activate that pesky meta gem.

Dropped for us last night on Ararthor. Replaced my Judgement Gauntlets and put dual +7 healing/+1 mana/5sec jewels along with a +10 spell crit enchant. These will suit just nicely until T4.

In case anyone cares, these are an orange/green gauntlet with the same design as the Lawbringer ones. There are a few other pieces that use Lawbringer models and this colour scheme (at least legs, shoulders and chest off the top of my head), however, I am not sure if there is a complete 'set' of orange/green lawbringer-model gear.

These will only have 81 +healing when socketed (unless you go all out and get 2 teardrop living rubies)

T4 has 66 +healing, a difference of 15 +healing.

I'd gladly trade 4mp5 and 15+healing for:
+9 stamina
+38 armor
+1 int
+.8% spell crit

Not to mention the -15s cooldown on divine fervor 4 piece bonus. That is godly.

i got them a while back enchanted them with 35+ to healing adn gave tehm 2 royal nights eyes which is a purple gem( give you the socket bonus) and has 9+ healing and 2 mana per 5 on each one. Thats what i did although i know alot of pallies that just jack up their +healing alot. I personally hate that and go for the extra mana.
17% spell crit + 100 mana per 5 while casting= unlimited mana
and even then i have 1400 plus to healing unbuffed which is plenty. With light up my holy lights crit for 7k and my flashs of light 2.5k crit.

These are in my opinion better than the T4 ones if u are looking to improve +healing and +mana regen. Got 2x purple gems in SP heroic, each 11+healing +2mp5, so no need to put red gems.
U get a total of 84+healing and +9mp5.
So T4 will have +10 stamina, +1% crit but no mana regen and a little less +healing and -2 intelect.

Fact: mana regen mp5 is permanent
crit chance is still a "chance"
more mana=more healing

imo, these with good gems > T4 gloves.
Note that u dont need those for the bonus set, u can still have the other 4 (though the legs have no sockets also).

I am beginning to think the mercilless gladiators gloves are better then these. It has 21 more stamina, 2 less intelluct, 2 more healing, 25 spell crit(compared to this that has none), and adds 2% crit chance to flash of light. Since pallys are mainly flash healers the 2% crit chance with fol really helps. So the gloves add 3% to fol, and 1% to HL. So way more spell crit and stam, or 5 mp5, and two sockets. Even with the two sockets you couldnt make up for the spell crit. So the mercilles glad gloves are better IMO.

Had these drop off kara last nite on my 1st run ever, got keyed 3 days ago finally, and must say once socketed and enchanted with proper enhancements has very nice healing capabilities.. i threw in 2 teardrop living rubys, at 18+ healing a piece, plus im a chanter so i enchanted it with major healing, 35+, plus the base heal of 62.. 62+36+35= 133 hp+ woot! bad ass
