Perhaps due to the fact that it has two gem slots, this has escaped notice as yet since there are no comments here. Let me be the first to say it (and please note I crafted my spreadsheet for a resto shaman, so something may have escaped me): these are the best non-epic boots in the game for sheer +Healing bonus. Every resto shaman should obtain one of these early and drop two 18 +Healing gems in it for a powerful +Healing bonus to Earth Shield.

Don't wear it all the time, of course. Favor the easily-obtainable Auchenai Boots with Mp5/Healing gems (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28177) or the marginally more powerful but MUCH harder to obtain Wavefury Boots (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27549). Only equip the Slippers when applying Earth Shield prior to a difficult pull, then unequip afterward.

As for other classes, I refrain from comment.

the socket bonus is pretty weak, but meh
goes nicely with the gems for
+7healing +1mp5 (being red/blue)

another good alternative is
red - +7healing +3int
blue - +7healing +1mp5

either way they're pretty nice boots
