In the barrens northwest of the Crossroads has Peacebloom, Earthroot, Mageroyal, and way more Silverleaf than you will ever need. Oh yeah, Briarthorn is scarcely found northeast of the crossroads too.

This is a perfect item to farm for low levels, if you need money.

They sell for 4-5g/stack on my server and you can get them pretty fast if you're level 19-20, in The Barrens.

I have currently been mounting around Westfall looking for briarthorn but it seems to be rarish, Any suggestions on where to find the most of it?

None that I know of, but your next best bet is the CTMod. Its map mod makes it so that everytime you rightclick a herb or vein, a note is auto-created on the map screen.

Southern Silverpine forest is the BEST place to get !

Best Place to get briar thorn, for ALLIANCE, is probably either the wetlands or redridge mountains.

The best place to find it at as low a level possible is the East side of Loch Modan. I find more swiftthistle there too.

it's so valuable because it is used in making Swiftness Potions, which are key for winning WSG - prices on most servers skyrocket on WSG weekends... for the potions...and the ingredients...farm away, it's quite the cash-cow

well it's used for swiftness potions... it probably will only sell best in the days leading up to a wsg weekend - either that or your market base wised up - if you're an alchemist i'd go ahead and make the swiftness potions and sell those

i got tons from southern silverpine forest :P i just run around gathering peaceblooms, silverleaf, briarthorn, Bruiseweed, someother herb that begins with a m, and earthroot.

I always find is grows at the bottom of trees. So dont bother looking for it on big open plains. Hope this helps

Best zones to farm Briarthorn:

Orange: 70
Yellow: 95
Green: 120
Gray: 170

The Alliance zones I've found the most in so far are Loch Modan and the Wetlands (in ascending order of frequency).

well i've found the most in Duskwood. There are some in Westfall but the majority lie in Duskwood along the road that leads to Darkshire

For horde, this herb is found a lot in the barrens, mostly in the field of giants, among other good herbs. As for the buyable question, you can buy briarthorn in the AH. It goes for about 2 - 3 gold.

I find that Westfall is great for farming these. Mobs are low level and the land is mostly plain.
