this item dropped for us on normal mode,but it didnt show the message in which it says Need or Greed....the mage looted it immediately,I think it only drop to alchemists that don't have the recipe.

Drops on second boss of Old Hillsbrad only. Alchemists will be able to roll need/greed only. Drops in both Normal and Heroic...only!

Only reason the drop rate is so low is because WoWhead only records it when an alch is in the group with the wowhead client installed. - This plan only shows for the alchemist. Drop rate should be closer to 15%

According to armory this item has a Very Low (3% - 14%) drop chance on normal and a Medium (25% - 50%) drop chance on heroic, though it is not specified the exact drop chance.

Your best bet to get this recipe is to do durnholde on heroic difficulty.

Droped on Thralls Escape quest in Old Hillsbrad, last week on <EU-The Maelstrom> didn't take it, hope the lock that did has alch, since recipe is BoP.

Has anyone ever discovered it, while crafting? Let me know, please.

After starting my second alchemist, and having farmed this out of Old Durnhold a second time. This and all the other Dungeon drop potions/Elixirs will only drop that way. There is zero chance of discovery. For those of you working on Alchemy, be ready for a long journey through 1000s of crafting's without discoveries. Make stuff you can sell, and become profitable, so that you can keep doing it. Otherwise, the completionist side of you will be left undone.

I'd love to know if anyone else has got this yet in TBC anniversary. I've been running this dungeon over and over and over and it's never dropped. I'm an alchemist and have done normal and heroic time and time again and it's not dropping.
