I just got very, very lucky.

Decided to check the Auction House for this recipe one last time before logging off for the evening. I knew the Mageblood recipe was extremely rare, and it would probably sell for at least 500g, but at this point I was desperate.

Much to my surprise, however, the recipe was patiently waiting for me for a small fee of 9g 50s on the Auction House. I don't think I've ever bought something faster in my life!

Got this in an arc run, won the roll by i think 20, was running out of space a few days afterwards, was about to sell but something inside me told me not to. Check AH, see one for 750g. Going to sell once those are gone for about 800g, nice amount for almost losing it twice.

After farming for mote of air, I killed one of the air elementals and this dropped for me. I havn't used it yet, but I am an alchemist so this looks like a rare drop. Not sure whether to sell it or keep it.

I don't understand why they didn't make this and similar recipes blue, since they're really rare...
well, good for us alchemists, perhaps you'll be able to get one relatively cheap in the AH, but does the BC-drop color system make ANY sense ? Tradeable vendor recipes that are green instead of white, uber-rare non-bop drops that are green and some bop drops you can farm very quickly that are blue...
you're forced to use databases like thottbot or you could easily waste your money

On trollbane, every recipe is 500g till 2600g... insane and im not gonn pay that for it... though its so rare its ungrindable....

Btw, to comment the colors in TBC, The grindable recipes are rare, because they are bind on equip, though i also do not understand why some LW recipes or BS recipes are epic and our Alc recipes are rare and green... and that the vendor sells green recipes is indeed strange...

I just learned it after i learned another recipe - skill 350.
I learned that recipe ( transmute earth to water ) then it said : " U have learned Recipe: Elixir of major mageblood "
Just like that, like a discovery or something.
And the price in AH is like 1000 - 1200 g on Perenolde server
It was exactly the recipe i needed :) True luck

OMFG ! I just found this Recipe! Was going to sell to a vendor then decided to link at /2 chatt and see if someone needs! After 2-3 sec got like 100 wispers! they asked price and I just said offer! Got 200g and sold it instantly ! Then I went to the AH and check for it ! and I found out its worth around 1000k-1500k
So If u find this! DO NOT SELL UNDER 500g atleast=)

Bloody hell

Been sitting in my bag for about 4 days, was just about to vendor it, but I was sticking a netherweave bag in the AH anyway and thought i'd check the price first, saw one in there for 900 gold and my jaw dropped.

I've just stuck it in there for 750 buyout, I'm glad I won't have to farm for my flying mount when I hit 70.
