got this last night off panther boss. missed out on jindos hexxer on same run. but this is definitely an upgrade on the simone's cult hammer that i was using.

my question is this... would you spend dkp on the aurastone hammer? i am looking and it doesnt seem that much of an upgrade. i was thinking of just waiting on the azuresong or lok'. what do you think?

Its almost the same as the Aurastone, i have both, and use this as my backup weapon in MC and such. And for when i fool around in 5man to save on epic repair bills.

The only real difference between this and aurastone is that this is only +healing, whereas aurastone is dmg/healing. Although if all you do is heal, what difference does it make? Solid new drop from ZG.

Got this mace just today, nice for me that still is in a guild that havent developed into the hardcore raiding kinda guild yet...

Also, a warrior rolled on it :S
After a bit discussion, they give it too me, warrior calls one of the guildies a noob, put him on ignore. Wasnt many seconds until he was outta the guild :P

I got this last night and now have no plans on bidding DKP on Aurastone, saving it for something better. As a Enhancement Shaman I use a 2H Mace most of the time anyway.

Got this last night on my first ZG run off Venoxis. 2 other paladins on the raid, one rolled a 32 and another rolled a 95. I rolled a 99, but I am level 58, he 60. He graciuosly passed, and its now in my bag waiting to be enchanted.

This is probably the best non epic healing mace (pre MC or later ZG). Good stats and healing bonus, I think the only thing that i would ever replace his with is aurastone. Best of luck to all of you hopeful pallys!

dropped for the second time in two runs for my guild yesterday. I got it last week off the spider boss, last night it dropped off of the bat boss. All the other pallys passed since they didn't want to spend dkp on it and it went to a priest. I'd rather save dkp in MC though...now i don't have to spend mine on an aurastone hammer. Here's hoping for malistar's this week :)

Ohh...and i put +22int on it...though i wish i put +55 healing on it. I never run out of mana as it is...might be a while until i want to spend another couple hundred gold on the +55 enchant.

Just picked it up last night off venoxxis...dropped again off bat =P. Im a shaman i piked up this as a nice upgrade from cold forged hammer. Paired with NR shield from Baron. Not too shabby.

Why not get the quest in Silithus "The Perfect Poison"? Just kill Venoxis and Kurinaxx, and you'll get a better healer mace.

Instead of wasting DKP on an Aurastone hammer you are better off getting this, the stats are very similiar the aurastone hammer is slightly better but your better off saving up for Finkle's Lava Dredger if your a shaman.

This dropped for us last night, off the Panther boss High Priestess Arlokk. I won the roll. Looks good to me...now for a nice off-hand. I am currently using the Moonshadow Stave.

This is main hand only. Not that its a great weapon to dual wield but I only have one HWL 1her to wield in burning crusade on my shammy and I have this mace but cant offhand it. So I guess I'm stuck with buying a frostbite.

Even a week before the release of the Burning Crusade, I'd have given my right arm to have this weapon, but never managed to get it.

One week after the release, my guild ran a ZG run and it dropped. I wasn't too sure about getting now because I already had a couple of green weapons that SEEMED better. Luckily, I did get it and let me tell you that it was still a much better weapon and will last me for a good while anyhow. Glad I got it.

All the aspects can drop this mace, not just Venoxis. We got three of em tonight, and ended up disenchanting them all :(

I think that all the new drops off the aspects can drop from any of them.

I was lucky enough at lvl58 to get in on a ZG run last night with my guild <Old n Wise> and <Shadow Slayers> and was even more fortuitous enough to win the roll for this mace.

Certainly a good one hander/learning stick to pulvarise murlocs with, whichever you prefer to look at it. Good stats by all accounts, and frees up the offhander slot for a piece to provide even more stat boosts for me when I hit 60 :)

Feeling pretty good, right about now, especially as I've just respecced to holy.
