Other than the AQ40 drop, crit on an offhand is exceedingly rare, and the other stats make this absolutely fantastic. As a balance druid, I can make great use of this. It's just as good for mages locks, shamans, and priests, but priests have benediction, and most of the mages and locks in my guild have BWL or PVP staves already. Anyways, it doesn't matter what class this is for, it's still really good for those of us who can't quite pull off AQ40 just yet.

got this offhand a few weeks ago. really nice in combo with azuregos little dagger (including the +30 enchant).

as a balance druid, this is just what the doctor prescribed *g*

for now (meaning until expansion) this is the offhand i was going for in the game.

today we are starting to work on nefarian, so lok'amir il romathis will be reachable shortly. i'm at third place on dkp list with only a warlock and another druid in front of me (who is going for twohanded items), so the moment it droppes it will be mine ^^

I'm in a PvP guild, but sometimes we'll do pug instances with other guilds. So, I just got the Spellblade, and was saving honor for the tome for my offhand, but I got this today, saving me the 22.5k honor to spend on something else (plus, as a destruction lock, +crit is top priority).

Got me up to 318 +spell dmg, and 14.5% crit. Did an AV afterward and got my first 2k Shadowbolt crit on somebody. So satisfying...

got it for my priest last night, havent got the benediction yet so the fang of venoxis and this off hand will do just nicely until I do get it...

believe it or not with 3 mages and 5 locks in the run and they all passed...must be good to have gear that good you got to pass on something this nice.

The AQ40 Offhand has 9stam 10int 20dmg 1% to hit and 1% crit. Therefore that is better for Mages and Locks than the Talon. Reason: For frost mages, frostbolts are a binary spell, they either hit or are fully resisted. Any +hit helps here. For locks the same applies with your overpowered spell, deathcoil. I'll be rolling on this for my druid ^_^

The one for AQ40 is not hit with spells, it is jsut hit... So, it is a druid/shaman offhand.
