To get this ring (and also the neutral one, the friendly one as well as revered and exhalted) you have to do a quest in silithus where you have to go to tanaris and discover the Caverns of Time.
With this quest, you'll start gathering reputation with Brood of Nozdormu.
The Head of the Broodlord Lashlayer is not needed(as well as the quest "Only one may rise")

After that, go into AQ40 and start farming reputation killing mobs, boss & co.

Remember that with brood of nozdormu you'll start with 36000 HATED, and most of the mobs in AQ40 gives you 100rep (110 for humans).

When you are neutral or more, go to tanaris and speak with Anachronos in the Caverns of time, that gives you this ring. If you gather more reputation (friendly, etc), re-talk with him and he will change your ring with a more powerful one.

This ring will take approximately 2-3 months if u farm regularly...save your insignias/artifacts until 2999/3000 neutral and you should have enough to be right at 0/21000 exalted. Past that it's insignias at 500 rep per, artifacts at 1000 each, and Twin/Cthun kills. After around 30 boss kills, i'm at 0/21000 revered.

Starting off
You begin with hated reputation after completing the quest What Tomorrow Brings. This quest begins with Baristolth in Cenarion Hold. From that point, your goal is to increase your reputation in order to unlock the rewards listed above.

The Opening of the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj
If your realm has not yet opened the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, there is a chance to earn some reputation during the opening event. For ten hours following the opening of the gates, Ahn'Qiraj monsters appear that can be killed for up to 500 reputation points. You can read more about that here. After the event is over, this option is no longer available. If you get a chance to open the gates, show up for some possible reputation gains.

Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20)
You can gain Brood of Nozdormu reputation in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) by killing the bosses. The gains in this instance are only minor with 33 reputation gained per boss.

The Hand of the Righteous
After the player has completed the quest "Only One May Rise", they may undergo the quest, "The Hand of the Righteous." After turning in 200 Silithid Carapace Fragments, they may deputize another player to gather these fragments. Every time the player turns in 200 Fragments they receive 200 reputation, and is allowed to deputize another player. This quest can be completed repeatedly until the player is Neutral with the Brood of Nozdormu.

Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40)
The majority of reputation with Brood of Nozdormu will probably be gained in this dungeon. If you continue to raid this dungeon on a regular basis and kill bosses you will build up your reputation. Most monsters will give 100 reputation per kill up until you are 2999/3000 Neutral. After that point, the only monsters that will give reputation are the final bosses of the dungeon: Twin Emperors and C'Thun.

Each boss in AQ40 drops a Qiraji Lord's Insignia. These can be turned in at an NPC after defeating the Prophet Skeram within the dungeon for 500 reputation with Brood of Nozdormu and 100 Cenarion Circle reputation. You should hold on to these until you have reached 2999/3000 Neutral where you no longer gain reputation for most monster kills. After you reach that point, turn them all in at once.

Monsters can also drop Ancient Qiraji Artifacts which can be turned in for 1000 reputation. As with the Insignias, you should save these until you have reached the end of Neutral (2999/3000). These are somewhat rare.

Basically screwed... they cannot change your path once you select the wrong ring... you must bank that thing until you hit exalted, only then can you change your path for the right ring.

When you hit exalted you have the option to get a quest to change your ring. It takes 40 scarabs to do it though. 15 of 3 differnt kinds.

When I turned in the initial quest I got the wrong ring cuz I rushed through it thinking the 61elite dragon was gonna eat me. I was BeaR TanK for 3 months.... lol

Heyy don't make fun of people for choosing the wrong ring the icons all look the same and are the same color with about the same amount of green text under them so its not hard to make a mistake on it. I chose the wrongmount by accident at lv 40, ended up with a spotted tiger instead of a striped one =/

you get the basic ring after handing in the head of broodlord in BWL and then grinding slithisds until youre friendly this is the upgrade like the ZG necklaces that you get once you hit friendly

so basicly you trade in your ring you got at friendly and you get a slightly better one for each rep lvl
