For Enhancement Shamans, I'd highly recommend picking up two of these before going to Outland. The honor and marks needed can be relatively easy to obtain before hitting 58, and there's a high chance that they will last you all the way until 70 (or at least Netherstorm).

Normally I wouldn't recommend getting old-world epics for Outland, but there seems to be very few axe quest rewards, and the majority of mace quest rewards aren't suitable for a dual wielding Shaman.

So how much points do you get for weeks worth of Honor?

I have turned about 250K one week and didn't see much movement in my point standings.

So who is to say 800k per week for 4 straight weeks would grant you GM status?

If it were that easy, then everyone could just pvp in AV 4 weeks straight 7 days a week and get that, but I seen some people stay at Field Marshal for 3 - 4weeks alone.

With PVP poping every few minutes now with Realm PVP, I would assume that there is the same amount of competition just with more people getting honors faster then before allowing for quicker GM trun around time.

But getting GM is still not an easy feat, does anyone have the magic formula to calculating 65K points to be GM eligible?

Roll Horde, we have no wait time in BGs. 90% of World of Warcraft players chose the Alliance so you're bound to wait. HWL weapons are also cooler than the GM weapons. I mean come on, look at this axe. How can you stand to look at this baby toy? It's absolutely rediculous.
