Got this baby week ago. Didn't cost me a single DKP point cos nobody want it and it went to freeroll. This really is one of the sadest MC epics. Hope Blizzard will realizes how bad this weapon is. It's just a weapon with 59.7 dps. For God sake it drops from one of the last bosses in MC and it still is worse than Doomsaw or the lame Ice Barber Spear that you get from Alterac Valley without no effords. Well, I use it anyway cos it's an epic and I can EGO with it.BTW I'm a pally.

Droped yesterdey in MC from Sulfuron (what a surprise :D),I buy it only for nice look, stats are not uber. I didnt havent chance to check the procs.

Hiya,

Don't be so quick to judge... this is a great paladin weapon.

The procs are magical, so a good paladin with +dmg gear can up the procs to around 500 dmg... that's 500dmg/heal or 500 chained dmg to 3 opponents..

Think about it.

on a side note people only ever do Molten Core for fun anymore and dont give a %^&* about the loot, so id walk around IF / SW with it for some fun. Plus id want to see thunderstrikes proc in action anyway.

Anyone know how much it procs?

I got it myself in a for fun Molten core run. It is pretty much just for show...along with my 15 other old level 60 epics....but long story short i too am wondering about the proc rate cuz i haven't tested it out.

Well I just got it from MC and I have to say I'm a little dispapointed ... it's not bad and does really hit hard, but it sure lacks something, such as shadow/nature resistance +10 or +15.

It's the worst item that drops in MC of this color. It also requires level 58 only, which is stupid because you really have to be 4O level 60 guys to raid MC.

Well I'll sure keep it and use it in BG under the Thunderstrike form but it really is useless outside of BGs.

Do you believe Blizzard could add some stats if we all go whining on their forum ?

Surprisingly, the hunter epic staff (羅克迪洛爾，上古守護者的手杖 has more dps than this beast of a polearm. I seriously laughed when it dawned on me. Maybe this truly is Nexusstrike afterall.

got mine for 5 dkp. lol was better than what i had as im a prot spec and have been for months, so i never got a good 2hnd. will replace it asap with the obsidion blade and vend it for the 9g.

we get this as a drop everytime sulf goes down. lol its sooo common

Copying this from Shadowstrike's page for posterity.

As a proud owner of this thing in Classic, might as well lay out some useless trivia nobody's asked about.

GENERAL RULES:

It retains any enchantments, both real and blacksmithing stuff, and also sharpening stones, when switching between forms.
Switching between the forms takes 10 seconds and looks like a Holy spell being channeled. Switching IS affected by damage pushbacks, and obviously will be interrupted if you're, for example, knocked down during the channeling.
It starts 30 second cooldown when equipped much like any trinket, thus you must wait before being able to switch to the other form. Switching also triggers another 60 second cooldown that must pass before you'll be able to switch again.
It cannot switch forms while you're mounted.
Both Shadowstrike and Thunderstrike procs have 'Cannot be used while shapeshifted' flags listed on Wowhead.
If you use any sort of weapon switching macro that uses weapon names, it WILL NOT recognize Shadowstrike/Thunderstrike as the same weapon and thus you'll have to modify your macro each time you switch between the forms.
Switching between the forms has NO effect on item's durability in Classic.
It takes ~35-40 white hits or ~120-150 swing seconds to bring down a 復活的衛兵 with Shadowstrike/Thunderstrike auto-attacks only (T1 Ret, 10% physical crit).
Shadowstrike vendor price is 9g 85s 14c, while Thuderstrike vendor price is 9g 70s 74c. This makes a grand total difference of 14s 40c between the two forms.

SHADOWSTRIKE:

With a sample size of 10 Risen Guards or ~370 white hits in total, proc happened 2 to 4 times across a fight with any single Risen Guard, never less than 2 procs. This brings its expected PPM to a mighty ~1.5, maybe 2 if we're feeling generous.
吸取生命, which is cast on proc, looks like a Death Coil, deals Shadow damage and heals you for exact amount of damage done. It IS affected by Spell Power, but NOT by Healing Power: having +9 SP eventually made it hit/heal for 185 (with 180 being a supposed maximum), but healing gear made no difference whatsoever. Wowhead also implies that it has 40 yd range, though this, I suppose, doesn't really matter since it procs only from melee attacks.
Proc IS affected by Shadow Resistance/Immunity on a target. If target is Immune, Shadowstrike proc does no damage, nor does it heal you. Resists are partial; it will heal you for whatever amount wasn't resisted.
It CAN proc off the additional Holy attack from Seal of Command.
Proc CANNOT crit.
Proc can be absorbed by Shadow Ward, and the absorbed damage WON'T heal you.

THUNDERSTRIKE:

Proc rate seems to be same or close to same as with Shadowstrike, 2-5 procs per one Risen Guard or ~1.5 PPM.
Proc affects your main AND 2 OTHER targets closest to your main one. Moreover, in your combat log your main target might be shown as actually being hit last.
Proc has a nominal range of 30yd (contra 40yd from Shadowstrike).
Proc seems to be unaffected by SP, or it scales very poorly: I haven't seen a hit larger than 250 damage throughout a week, but I did saw a hit for a flat 150, having +9 SP on me all the time.
Couldn't get it proc off SoC attack, but it DID proc off a damaging Judgement.
Proc itself is 閃電鏈. It deals Nature damage, as any Lightning bolt. It has no effect on anything that is immune to Nature damage.
Proc can be fully resisted, but only on your main target.
Proc WILL break CC (sheep etc) indiscriminately.
Proc WILL target and pull neutral/non-engaged hostiles indiscriminately. It will not target critters.
Proc CAN crit (for x1.5 damage, I presume), and a crit chance on each target is calculated separately.

Do what you will with this information.
