Literally signed up on here to make this comment. No the droprate is absolutely wrong, and not easier, wayyyyy harder. It took me 162 trickster kills to get this damn pattern. I killed 307 satyrs overall for a span of 3 hours. Those of you that got it in 2 or 8 kills? count your blessings. This was awful. Like, world drop farming awful.

Don't be like me and spend over 2hrs, farming well over 150 Tricksters and ~200 other Jadefire mobs with other than trashy loot as a result. It is (as per 20th of November -21) trainable by many Leatherworking trainers in Classic TBC. I accidentally discovered this could be trained after ragingly taking HS to Orgrimmar to look for substitutes.

I know many Leatherworking guides are using this for skilling between 290-300, and mine told me (even if it was an updated guide from 2021) that the pattern had to be farmed.
