I got it in Scarlet Strath, off one of the skeletons outside. I think there may be a rare spawn boss out there since I haven't seen named in that spot every since the run I got the blouse on.

I stuck All Stats +3 on this, so +16 to everything, pretty freaking nice for a druid, who needs every stat.

Hah! after 10 times killing baronn this week without Kilt-drop I felt kinda miserable. But then I read that this guy spawns in Strat. So I ran back alone after my raid killed Baron, checked for Forresten and he was there!

So I killed the guy and got the blouse. It's awesome. the design is booring thouh. looks just like a regular purple shirt.

So this drop will have healed my wounds for a long time forth now. Even if it's not the best thing eva, it's still a very nice armor.

and btw. you cannot stealth past the first group in STrat anymore, cus they've gained stealth detection. So you'll just have to run back after killing baron, when all mobs are gone, and check if he's there. GL!

Just got this songbird last night...take me 21 re-set and I'm so luck got it on first kill.

For the first group of mobs in Service Entrance, you can go from the right hand side also. What you need to notice are the middle one and the either left/right hand side one is non-elite.
Left hand side is just simply as pervious reply. if Right hand side is non-elite, stealth run pass that group and keep moving behind the pally's house, after passed you can directly stealth move to the tunnel without aggro. This method save me a lot of time to wait re-set.

and btw... if you are not feral spec.. ask a friend buff you Fort and prepare some mana potion..Hearthsinger melee is not laughable to a non-feral spec Druid..

Is he at festival lane? how do u locate him after u pass da first mob and enter the tunnel?

Target him using /target h

If he's not there, it will say "Unknown unit."

If he's there, his icon will appear and you will have to hunt for the only yellow guy either across Festival Lane (which is no good), or off to the right of the hallway to Festival Lane. Either way, be careful, since the ghouls can see through stealth.

To leave stealth back to the gate, SS and open gate , run and SS to cat and use dash.
Usually make it to instance portal with over half life.

Solo him at 58, took about 7-8 kills before he dropped the chest.
Had a 8-11-31 build at the time.
Used all of my tanking (Armor/Stamina/Strength) gear to beat him. You dont need a lot of Int gear, just enough to heal and shift back.
If you are still using alot of green gear use some strengh/armor/agility potions.

Killed him during a long run farming stitchings off of patwork horrors with a group of guildies. After some time, we noticed that he repopped. The second kill netted me the Blouse.

I have went in on both UD and on SC side. there is a Sea of Mobs it is impossible to stealth this. One step in and im aggrod. I am a druid with 4/5 points in improved prowl. are there any tricks to getting to this guy

After reading that druids could stealth and solo this guy here earlier, I decided to give it a go since I really needed an upgrade to my chestpiece. Got to Strat, the gate was guarded by skele's so was able to stealth in. I got past the tunnel and wasn't sure where to find Hearthsinger but right before I was gonna /target him, I noticed he was standing right in front of me! I didn't see him right away cause he looks half-stealthed himself. I basically followed the instructions given...moonfired into the tunnel, bear formed, healed when needed. All in all the guy was surprisingly easy to beat for a mini "boss". Nothing tricky to him except he hits fairly hard (about 400-600 when not in bear form). Looted the body and there was my Songbird Blouse!

I never have this kind of luck. First time doing this in Strat and everything just happened to work out.

I got mine on my third kill. Before that I got two piccolos. Patch 1.10.1

It seems that you can reset the instance 5 times. Once you try and enter a 6th instance within the space of an hour, then you are banned from instances for an hour or so.

I managed to get him once each "ban". It would seem that the odds of getting inside past a cadaverous spawn is good - about 2-3 times. The odds of him being in the right potition seems to be 1-3. The odds of getting him in the right place at with the right spawn is therefore around 21-100 (or about 1 in every five attempts).

Getting a friend to help has many advantages...

a) The friend can use up their 5 tries to check to see if the spawn is appropriate for you to enter.
b) The friend can open the door for you to get back out without the chance of dying
c) The friend can loot - magister boots / rainbow belt / the nth piccalo etc etc...

I finaly got it to drop after 20+ kills and 2 losses....so i thought i would revise my post.....
as a rogue
1. take off all items with durability
2. walk up to gate and against the crate
3. click to open gate ( it will take 7 sec. the first time you open it (you will need the key to the city ))
4. click SPRINT and run thru the tunnel ( you will die there now but will be able to see if heartsinger has spawned )
5. run your ghost back
6 if heartsinger hasen't spawned go out, reset and repeat
7. if hearthsinger has spawned in his sweet spot( to the right side of tunnel) you will now have to sneek past the 2 goons
8. stand against the gate with the crate against your left shoulder
9. click to OPEN gate , click STEALTH and take 1 sep forward...( the gate will now rise instantly ) (* with Key to city))
10. you are now inside even tho the gate has come down on your head
11. this is tricky part...there is a street curb on your left, and a little rocky bit that requires you to move forward a bit to climb over...i hold down my strafe modifier...push forward and left at the same time unill i clear the curb and rocky bit...you will have to time this so the 2 goons have moved forward a bit and have turned away from you. as stated in the above posts 2 skellys will be easy to sneek past...a 57 elite ghoul will be much harder. but can be done
12. once safely inside the tunnel put your gear back on and buff up
13. there are 2 ghouls that patroll the plaza...one is a patchwork horror...he walks in a counter-clockwise pattern around the fountain...the other is a plague ghoul..he walks on a path up to Hearthsinger..then he TURNS around and walks back down the plaza...when they have both moved away..step out of the tunnel and shoot hearthsinger
14. duck back in the tunnel right by the corner...dont back up too far or he will get a shot off on you and he hits hard with his bow
15. fight him there for a few seconds...back up into the tunnel a little before the ghouls return...hearthsinger will follow
16. defeat hearthsinger Forresten
17. I use SPRINT to make it back out with my buffs still intact

other notes...i am a combat spec with 2 epic daggers ...even with agility /giant str/ defense pots and +12 food, i found i almost always had to use a major heal pot and sometimes my lifestone to beat him

i once used my mechanical dragonling and VANISHED long enough to get half of a bandage on

if you recieve the "you have entered too many instances recently" message you will not be able to enter ANY instance with ANY of your toons on that server for about an hour. so plan accordingly

Got mine off a rare spawn Skeleton on the way to Baron RivenDale. Its pretty good but i honestly Hate how it looks on my male rogue, lol.
But i got that and the Shadow Craft Spaulders on that run. Payed 20g for 4 70's to run me. Had a blast made about 150g in drops (selling, vendoring etc.) Remember it is a rare spawn drop so dont run in there expecting him to be right in there.

NO he is not a rare spawn .. he is always there but not in the same place . he spawns in random places. ive just entered 5 times with my druid and i always get him

yesw this is not a rare spawn at least not anymore may be when the game 1st came out not sure about that actually ive only seen him standin in the same spot every time. u only have to clear out a few mobs b4 pullin him and hes pretty ez good luck to those tryin 2 get the blouse

got it for my druid while helping my friend farm the trinket for IF annoyance fun.

oh, you want a real laugh, try breaking out a model viewer and look at this blouse with the jinxed hoodoo kilt. linked both to my priest friend to show him the dressing room goofiness and he linked me back his devout mantle to try on with the other two. thats where it started getting creepy...

Druids:

Enter via. Baron side and stealth past the first pull, then travel left to the tunnel that leads to Scarlet (or Live) side Strath. Walk to the end of the tunnel, to your right should be something that looks like a house with a kind of verandah over it.

Make a macro /target Hearthsinger and see if he's infront of that house. If he isn't, reset the instance. If he is, pull him into the tunnel with Moonfire or Starfire.

Soloing him from here is pretty easy. He dodges alot, so don't rely on Bash + Heal - Bash if you can, but make sure you have time to do a Swift heal if it fails. Just keep hitting him in bear and with the occasional moonfire and you should do fine. He's not too hard.

Hearthsinger is still very easy to solo for Druids. I've been farming him for the Piccolo, but he only dropped the plate girdle and 2 blouses so far. Anyway, the method to get to him is this:

1)Enter Strat through the Service gate

2)Open the next gate, then go cat and stealth, and sit just forward of the gate. If there is a Cadaver infront of you, go out and reset, if there's 2 skeletons, wait until they face away from you and wall hug left and go into the tunnel.

3) Do the /target Hearthsinger command. If Hearthsinger is stood under the eaves of a house to the right, you're good. If not, run and reset.

4) If he is to the right hand side, pull him with moonfire / starfire, and back off into the tunnel so he follows. Then you can go bearform or use spells on him (whichever your spec suits best, I'm doing this as a full balance Druid.) If you get oom, just use Innervate. Even in bear / Moonkin, you will probably have to drop out of form and heal, but this guy is still very easy.

5) Loot him. If you get what you're after, rejoice. If not, reset and start over.

PS: I am doing this as a Balance spec Druid > patch 1.11 (Shadow of the Necropolis.)
