well, I got this last night off Onyxia... wow... of the like 6 items that dropped, THIS was the one that I won with my 60 mage (non x-pac). I REALLY wanted the backpack, but ya know... w/e... sending this to my 47 warlock... 4 more levels and she can wear this! very pretty for now! haha, I can't stop laughing... this dropped off ONYXIA I mean HONESTLY! anything higher lvl would have been better... haha. w/e cool cool!

These dropped in Silithus from some random mob (spider or scorpion maybe?), put in the AH for 45/50g. The next day I had 50g in my mailbox :)

I honestly didn't replace these until I got my Arcanist. Magister's shoulders are like a 10% drop, and Shroud of the Nathrezim is less than 5%. These are easily one of the best rare mage shoulders in the game, easily obtainable off the auction house, and can be equipped at an early level. 300 mana and +11 to all damage is great for a level 51 shoulder.

And I don't regret a second. Didn't have any + damage on my shoulders. Since hitting 51, I've been tearing though things with the addition of these shoulders. Just gotta run Sunken Temple and get the + damage necklace and I'll be as good as I need to be for a long time.
