If you are a tailor and want Vision Dust, you can make if you've got the pattern. They're very cheap to make (one single and a couple of vendor-bought stuff), and will usually yield 2-5 Vision Dust when disenchanted.

As a level 70 working on skilling up enchanting, I highly recommend farming Zul'Farrak. Not only will you get greens for vision/dream dust, but you get a ton of mageweave to make into more greens for disenchanting. All around a win/win scenario.

Just disenchanted 16 Black Mageweave Gloves. Got ~3 Stacks of Vision Dust and 2 Lesser Nether Essences.

So it can vary between people, but Got between 3 and 5 dust per disenchant on average.

I recomend that you disenchant level 34-40 stuff. The higher level the item is for, the more vision dust you will get. This means, that if you can either farm SM cath/ZF you might have a lot of vision dust in a very short time.

whats the best thing a tailor can make to disenchant into vision dust. a high drop rate for tailor made stuff i guess is what i'm saying. i cant find anything that drops vision dust good

You can typically make 4 bandit masks for about 1.6g

Each disenchants to 3-5 vision dust, or 1-2 lesser nether essences.

For leatherworking, Nightscape Headband and Armor is the best, but Nightscape Headband is the cheapest one, 5x Thickleather and 2x Heavy Threads.

For me, I tested green silk shoulders, as well as white bandit mask, to see which one would be more worth the money and I can tell you for certain that the white bandit mask is by far the best way to go if you're looking for tailoring to get some vision dust.

Uldaman is a good Instance to run for Vison Dust.

Most of the greens i found there on my first run dropped Vision Dust.

Well for anyone interested I just tried the green silken shoulders. I made 14 of them with my lock and de them I ended up with 11 vision dust and 10 greater mystic essence... Going to try a run through ulda and then sm just to see what one actually has the better drop rate for silk vs time.

i bought 8 nightscape headbands at 1g each form the auction house. I then disenchanted them all and got

10 vision dust
3 lesser nether essence
2 large radiant shards

Sold both the radiants for 7g each on azgalor.

so i got 6 points in enchanting, and made a 6g profit in like 5 minutes. Great time i had =D

I found the best thing to do is make Black Mageweave Gloves. They require 2 Bolts of Mageweave and 2 Heavy Silken Thread. Pretty cheap to make and they always give alot of Vision Dust 4 on average. They also d/e into Small Radiant Shards, and Lesser Nether Essence (Which is pretty expensive in AH).

The best thing to do is make BLACK MAGEWEAVE GLOVES. MATS = 2x bolt mageweave, and 2x heavy silken thread. Always D/Es into 2-5 VISION DUST. Sometimes you get Small Radiant Shard or Lesser Nether Essence (Which sells well in AH)

i went to RFK and got no vision dust but you get vision dust from the black mageweave gloves that are cheap to buy on ah and i got 3-5 vision dust per glove

holy crap on aeria peak this crap is going up to 50g for a stack or up to 5dusts for 15g so over priced that went way up small radiants went down to 7g for like 10 or 12 sucks:(

I find, for those who can solo it, running ULDA and DE'ing all drops results, well for me it did, in a 100% conversion to Vision Dust.

For the record, nine (9) Nightscape Headband (leather working) gave me 29 Vision Dust.
