Zangarmarsh Alliance Leveling Quest Guide for Burning Crusade Classic

Welcome to Wowhead's TBC Classic guide to leveling efficiently in Zangarmarsh through questing as an Alliance player. This guide details the level range, optional leveling path, important quest hubs, and best quest rewards to pick up in Zangarmarsh, one of the first zones players encounter on their journey in Outland.

Zangarmarsh Burning Crusade Classic Introduction

is the second zone in Outlands and typically the follow-up zone after Hellfire Peninsula. Zangarmarsh has quests available from Level 60 up to Level 64 for both Horde and Alliance players. Alliance players have a small encampment in Zangarmarsh known as Telredor, while Horde Players have the encampment Zabra'jin.
Zangarmarsh will begin to introduce the lore and factions around Serpentshrine Cavern, Naga, Sporeggar, Ogres, and Lost Ones. There are many creatures in Zangarmarsh, a surprisingly diverse region of Outland. In the various lakes around Zangarmarsh, you'll find many Naga Slavers using Lost Ones for nefarious plans involving Steam powered water pumps. This lore all ties into the Serpentshrine Cavern, Lady Vashj, and Illidan Stormrage.
There is PvP Objectives in Zangarmarsh, the Twin Spire Ruins, at the center of the map, just south of Serpent Lake. Three capture points in the West Beacon, the Twinspire Graveyard, and the East Beacon are obtainable. Factions controlling both beacons will receive the

buff, receiving a 5% damage boost.

Zangarmarsh Burning Crusade Classic Level Range
Zangarmarsh Quests Range from Level 60-64
Zangarmarsh quests start at Level 60 minimum requirement for the majority of the region, with a handful of quests requiring 61 or 62 to pick up. Most players will likely be leaving Hellfire Peninsula around Level 61 or 62, meaning nearly every quest in Zangarmarsh can be acquired right away. If you are leaving Hellfire Peninsula and going into Zangarmarsh for the first time, it might be a good idea to pick up

from the Cenarion Post in Hellfire before entering Zangarmarsh.
Nearing the higher level of the region, Zangarmarsh offers a handful of Group Quests in the Level 64 category. These quests include

. Typically, if a player enters Zangarmarsh at level 61 or 62, completing every quest in Zangarmarsh will put them around level 63 or 64 before heading to Terokkar Forest.
Best Zangarmarsh Leveling Path for Alliance Players in TBC Classic
Once Alliance Players have completed Hellfire Peninsula, they'll find themselves with the quest

to meet Ysiel Windsinger at Cenarion Refuge, which is just outside Hellfire Peninsula. There, Alliance players can pick up quests that reward reputation with

. This reputation is very important for obtaining the
, allowing the bearer to enter Heroic Dungeons in Serpentshrine Cavern.
North of the Cenarion Refuge, Alliance players can find the Telredor, a small city built on top of a Zangarmarsh Mushroom, with a valuable flight path. Surprisingly, there isn't a flight path in Cenarion Refuge. After questing on the eastern side of Zangarmarsh, Alliance players will then venture West, toward Orebor Harborage. After completing quests in Orebor Harborage, Alliance players can then help out the Sporeggar to the south, before eventually moving on to Terokkar Forest.

are the quest giving NPC's in Telredor. Telredor is a small city built on top of a Zangarmarsh Mushroom, with a trade goods vendor, a flightmaster, and a handful of NPC's. It is highly recommended Alliance players quickly grab the flight point from here after picking up quests in Cenarion Refuge, as both Cenarion Refuge and Telredor quest hubs give quests in the Umbrafen Lake region.

Orebor Harborage
Orebor Harborage is the third questing hub in Zangarmarsh for Alliance players, hosting many quest giving NPC's as well as a flight path.

are some of the available quest givers. Quests from this quest hub will send Alliance players to regions such as Feralfen Village, Serpent Lake, Hewn Bog, and the Ango'rosh Grounds.
This is also an important quest hub for Alliance players, as some of these quests reward reputation with the

faction. This is vital to the questing journey, as Alliance players will eventually head to Nagrand and Telaar, where you can not accept quests unless you have some reputation with Kurenai.

Sporeggar
The Sporeggar quest hub is only "unlocked" after achieving some reputation with the Sporeggar faction. To do this, you'll first need to clear some quests in the Spawning Glen from NPC

Best Alliance Quest Rewards in Zangarmarsh for TBC Classic
While questing through Zangarmarsh, certain quests drop gear that will give a strong boost to your character's power. Here are some of the best items to obtain from Alliance questing in Zangarmarsh for TBC Classic.
Weapons
After reaching "Friendly" with Sporeggar, you can pick up the quest
