Dungeon Overview Guide
Shadow Labyrinth in TBC Classic
暗影迷宮
is one of four instances in the
Auchindoun
area of Terokkar Forest.
There are four boss encounters:

.
The recommended level for normal difficulty is 70; however, you can enter Shadow Labyrinth at level 65.
The associated faction is Lower City.
s are currency tokens dropped by bosses in the Auchindoun instances. Bosses in the Shadow Labyrinth drop 2 Shards each. For Shards to drop, the player's faction must control the five Spirit Towers in the Bone Wastes.

The Shadow Labyrinth can be found in

at /way 39, 71. There are four Auchindoun dungeons; Shadow Labyrinth is at the south of the Ring of Observance.

The Shadow Labyrinth Key - TBC Classic
To enter the Shadow Labyrinth, only one person in your group needs to have the

to open the gate in front of the instance entrance. A level 70

with 350 lockpicking can also open the gate.
The Shadow Labyrinth Key is looted from
, a chest found beside the final boss of Sethekk Halls.
Shadow Labyrinth Heroic Attunement - TBC Classic
To enter
Heroic Dungeon
mode, you'll need to be level 70 and must obtain the Heroic key for each dungeon hub. For
Auchindoun
, once a player reaches Revered with Lower City, they can purchase the Heroic Key:

As with all Heroic dungeons, you'll find that the difficulty has been increased when compared to Normal. This could mean added boss abilities or just boss abilities that hit harder. You'll find additional loot inside Heroic dungeons, and every boss will drop

Another item you'll find as a guaranteed drop from the final boss of every Heroic dungeon is a

Shadow Labyrinth Trash in TBC Classic

Cabal Deathsworn are arguably the most dangerous mob in the dungeon. When tanking multiple mobs at once,

can cause a very quick death, so it is advised that you either crowd control these and kill them last or else deal with them immediately if crowd control is limited.

Cabal Shadow Priests deal quite high damage and should be dealt with first if you have the crowd control to deal with Cabal Deathsworns. If possible, dispel

Cabal Fanatics themselves aren't necessarily dangerous, but do need to be made aware that the non-tank party members will need to be ready to kite these mobs away when targeted by

Shadow Labyrinth Bosses in TBC Classic
Below you'll find overviews of each boss found within

, including their abilities, and strategy for both Normal and Heroic difficulty.
海爾瑪大使
is the first boss found in Shadow Labyrinth. Other than his AoE fear ability, there is little to be concerned about when handling this boss encounter.

Ambassador Hellmaw Strategy
This is a fairly simple encounter. Ranged players should stay as far away as possible and be prepared in case he fears the Tank, and he should be tanked facing away from the group to avoid Corrosive Acid hitting multiple players.
Heroic Mode notes:
On Heroic difficulty, he will enrage after 3 minutes.
『煽動者』黑心
is the second boss inside Shadow Labyrinth. He periodically mind controls your entire party, inciting chaos by causing a free-for-all.
Blackheart the Inciter Abilities

Blackheart the Inciter Strategy
He has a Charge and War Stomp ability. The Tank should make sure he is not facing the group, and any Ranged players should stay at max range.
The challenging part is his Incite Chaos. This is essentially a 15-second Mind Control effect on all party members that can not be removed or resisted, and it wipes aggro. Hunters should try to set a Freezing Trap out near their Healer. Warlocks can also use their Succubus for this part of the fight. After Incite Chaos, rinse and repeat.
Heroic Mode notes:
He has increased HP and damage output.
宗師瓦皮歐
is the third boss found in Shadow Labyrinth. He is (presumably) the Grandmaster of the Shadow Council in the Shadow Labyrinth.

Grandmaster Vorpil Strategy
Move out of his Rain of Fire, and be prepared to deal with heavy AoE damage from Shadow Bolt Volley. Shadow Protection will help mitigate some of that damage. He will periodically summon Voidwalkers with Draw Shadows, which will emerge and walk towards Grandmaster Vorpil. Kill the Voidwalkers before they reach him, or else they will explode and heal him.
Heroic Mode notes:
He gains the Banish ability, which he will use periodically, removing a group member from the fight for 8 seconds.
莫爾墨
, the final boss of Shadow Labyrinth, is an incredibly powerful elemental that was born when the Universe was created, about whom little is known. The Shadow Council inhabiting the Shadow Labyrinth in Auchindoun summoned him for their nefarious purposes, but they seem to be having trouble keeping him under control. His history is briefly documented in the Codex of Blood, which reveals that Murmur is the primordial essence of sound.

Murmur Strategy
Murmur starts at 40% health and is stationary, similar to Ragnaros. Players should all spread out around his circle. Cast big heals on whoever is targeted with Murmur's Touch, and make sure everyone is at least 10 yards away from them, as the explosion will also hit nearby players.
He will occasionally pull someone to him with Magnetic Pull. Make sure you return to your previous position when this happens. When he is about to cast his devastating Sonic Boom, which hits everyone within 35 yards for 70% of their total health, you will see a text:
"Murmur draws energy from the air…" Anyone not already 35+ yards away should run away. The Tank needs to grab him immediately after to avoid his Resonance ability.
Heroic Mode notes:
He gains a new ability, Sonic Shock. All players are essentially forced to stay within 35 yards or face devastating damage from this new spell. During his Sonic Boom, players may still run out to avoid the huge burst of damage, but they must immediately run back in.
Shadow Labyrinth Quests in TBC Classic
Shadow Labyrinth has quite a few associated quests. The first is

To enter the area before the dungeon entrance, someone in the party should have the Shadow Labyrinth Key,

Just a bit of trivia but if you look on the floor just before Blackheart the Inciter you can two sets of bones which is a Draenie couple holding hands, it seems all the bones were in fact wedding guests.

How are these guides always so bad? Like I come here trying to figure out what trash mobs to look out for before doing this dungeon for the first time. And it doesn't even mention the Fel Overseers, which cast Frightening Shout causing everyone nearby to be Feared. I would've dropped a Tremor Totem if I knew. Instead we wiped. I can only assume it's written by AI.
