Overview: Kael'thas starts in a weakened state, and needs assistance to bring him back to full strength. However, Sire Denathrius's forces continue to pour in, determined to stop your attempts at redeem Kael'thas's soul.
As Kael'thas is being redeemed, hostile shades of his power manifest and attack the players.

Tanks:
While Ministers of Vice are attacking, the Rockbound Vanquishers and Bleakwing Assassins will be your main priority.
When the Shade of Kael'thas is alive, make sure to swap between tanks to avoid [Burning Remnants] stacking too high.
Damage Dealers:
Stack up to help spread out the damage from [Ember Blast].
Use any movement-impairing abilities you may have to slow down Soul Infusers.
Move away from other players when targeted by a Bleakwing Assassin for [Rapid Strikes].
Healers:
Pick up the Infuser's Orbs to increase your healing
Heal Essence Fonts to full health to pass on a major heal to Kael'thas.
Move away from other players when targeted by a Bleakwing Assassin for [Rapid Strikes].

Kael'thas: Kael'thas periodicially gains a [Cloak of Flames] and starts to cast [Unleashed Pyroclasm]. (Mythic)

Cloak of Flames: A cloak of fire enshrouds Kael'thas, absorbing all healing received. Removing the Cloak of Flames interrupts Kael'thas. (Mythic)

Unleashed Pyroclasm: Superheated Fire rains down on all players, inflicting 2062158 Fire damage. (Mythic)

Shade of Kael'thas: At certain health percentages, a Shade of Kael'thas manifests itself from Kael'thas and attacks.

Reflection of Guilt: Kael'thas is bound to his Shade, absorbing all healing while tied to the Shade of Kael'thas.
Fiery Strike: Lets loose a fiery blast, inflicting 2062 Fire damage and applying Burning Remnants to all enemies in a cone in front of the Shade of Kael'thas.

Burning Remnants: Remnants of Fiery Strike lingers on the enemy, inflicting 412 Fire damage every 1 sec for 10 sec. This effect stacks.

Ember Blast: The Shade of Kael'thas targets an enemy and calls down a pillar of fire at their location, inflicting 82486 Fire damage to all enemies within 6 yards of the impact point, split evenly between all enemies hit.
On Normal difficulty and higher, [Ember Blast] also applies applications of [Lingering Embers], split evenly between all players hit.

Lingering Embers: Lingering embers cling to the enemy's body, inflicting 2062 Fire damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. This effect stacks. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Blazing Surge: At 100 Energy, the Shade of Kael'thas releases a massive blast of fire, leaving a pile of Smoldering Remnants.
On Heroic difficulty and higher, [Blazing Surge] targets a random player's position rather than the primary target's position.
Reborn Phoenix:
On Mythic difficulty, the Reborn Phoenixes do not disappear when the Shade of Kael'thas is defeated.

Smoldering Plumage: The Phoenix's plumage billows with fiery energy, inflicting Fire damage to all nearby enemies every 1 sec.
On Normal Difficulty or higher, Smoldering Plumage leaves [Smoldering Remnants] behind.
Phoenix Embers: The embers of the Reborn Phoenix begin to reignite, healing them for 5% of their maximum health every 1 sec. When they reach 100% of their maximum health, the Reborn Phoenix is resurrected.

Smoldering Remnants: Leaves a pool of burning fragments behind, inflicting 10306 Fire damage every 1 sec.
[Ember Blast], [Blazing Surge] and the Reborn Phoenixes's [Smoldering Plumage] leave behind Smoldering Remnants.

High Torturer Darithos

Greater Castigation: Torments multiple enemies at once, causing waves of energy to emanate from them, inflicting 5 Shadow damage every to all players within 6 yards of each player.

Ministers of Vice:
As the fight begins, Sire Denathrius's Ministers of Vice work to thwart the raid's attempts to save Kael'thas.

Rockbound Vanquisher

Vanquishing Strike: Slams the target, inflicting 16497 Physical damage and applying Vanquished. This effect stacks.

Vanquished: Vanquishes the enemy, causing them to bleed for 2062 Physical every 1 sec for 20 sec. This effect stacks.

Concussive Smash: The Rockbound Vanquisher jumps in to the air and slams the ground hard, inflicting 10311 Physical to all enemies.

Reverberation: The Rockbound Vanquisher's body reverberates, increasing damage done by Concussive Smash by 25%. This effect stacks (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Bleakwing Assassin

Rapid Strikes: The Bleakwing Assassin charges the enemy and casts Crimson Torment. After running out of enemies to charge, the Bleakwing Assassin returns to its last primary target.

Crimson Torment: Rips into all nearby enemies with razor sharp talons, inflicting 14435 Physical damage and causing them to bleed for 2887 Physical damage every 1 sec for 10 sec.

Return to Stone: The Bleakwing Assassin turns to stone, healing for 100% of their maximum health after 8 sec. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Vile Occultist

Scornful Blast: Fires a bolt of dark energy at the enemy, inflicting 5155 Shadow damage.
Vulgar Brand: Brands all enemies with a shadowy mark, inflicting 1649 Shadow damage and increasing damage taken by 35% for 15 sec. (Raid Finder, Heroic, Normal)
Vulgar Brand: Brands all enemies with a shadowy mark, inflicting 1649 Shadow damage and increasing damage taken by 35% for 15 sec. (Mythic)
Door of Shadows: Moves through shadows, teleporting to a nearby location to avoid attackers.
Carrying Essence Font: The Vile Occultist carries an Essence Font on its back, which is slowly leaking energy. At 0 Energy, the Essence Font is destroyed. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Soul Infuser

Soul Infusion: Burdens the soul Kael'thas with dark energies, inflicting 1% of Kael'thas's maximum health as Shadow damage every 2 sec. If the Shade of Kael'thas is alive, Soul Infusion heals the Shade for 1% of his health every 2 sec.

Pestering Fiend

Shattering Ruby: Throws a cracked ruby at the enemy, causing it to shatter, inflicting 4124 Physical damage to all enemies within 3 yards of the impacted enemy.
Fragmentation: Upon death, the Pestering Fiend shatters, inflicting 10311 Physical damage to all enemies within 7 yards. (Mythic, Heroic)

Infusing Essences:
When a Soul Infuser dies, they leave behind a remnant of their power.
On Normal difficulty and higher, when a Vile Occultist dies, they leave behind an Essence Font.

Infuser's Orb: When a Soul Infuser dies, they leave behind an Infuser's Orb for a period of time. Picking it up gives the player [Infuser's Boon].

Infuser's Boon: Overflowing with powerful essence, increasing all healing done by 50% for 14 sec. This effect stacks.

Essence Font: When a Vile Occultist dies, a Essence Font is left behind. Healing the Essence Font to its maximum health causes it to cast [Essence Overflow], healing Kael'thas. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Cracked Resevoir: The Essence Font is broken, leaking out its energy, reducing its health by every 2 sec. The amount of health lost every 2 sec increases the longer the Essence Font is around. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)
Essence Overflow: The essence in the font overflows, healing Kael'thas for 2% of his maximum health. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Soul Pedestal: Players can interact with the Soul Pedestals to cast [Soul Infusion] on Kael'thas. Soul Pedestals don't activate when the Shade of Kael'thas is alive. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Soul Infusion: Sacrifice your health to heal Kael'thas, inflicting 7% of your maximum health every 3 sec for 15 sec. This damage increases with each tick. Using the Soul Pedestal also applies Drained Soul. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)
Drained Soul: The wearer's soul is drained, prohibiting interaction with Soul Pedestals for 30 sec. (Mythic, Heroic, Normal)

Sludgefist Encounter Journal

Overview: Sludgefist becomes increasingly wroth as the battle rages. At 100 Rage he will start a [Heedless Charge].
If Sludgefist impacts a wall, he will trigger a [Structural Collapse].

Tank:
Utilize the room to ensure that Sludgefist doesn't trigger a [Structural Collapse].
Healer:
Utilize the room to ensure that Sludgefist doesn't trigger a [Structural Collapse].
Damage:
Utilize the room to ensure that Sludgefist doesn't trigger a [Structural Collapse].

Pillars of Castle Nathria: The walls and pillars of The Grand Walk help support Castle Nathria's foundation.
The destruction of a pillar causes the castle to shudder and applies Crumbling Foundations to all players.

Crumbling Foundations: Each missing pillar destabilizes the castle, inflicting 206 Physical damage every second to all players.
This effect stacks.
Structural Collapse: If Sludgefist impacts a wall during Heedless Charge the foundations of Castle Nathria instantly collapse.
The destruction inflicts 16490 Physical damage every second to all players.

Hateful Gaze: Sludgefist focuses his gaze on a target.

Upon expiring, Sludgefist performs a Heedless Charge in the direction of the affected player.

If Sludgefist impacts a wall, it triggers a Structural Collapse.

Heedless Charge: Sludgefist tramples everything in his path, inflicting 600 Physical damage and knocking players into the air.

Heedless Impact: Sludgefist slams into a pillar, destroying it and inflicting 10311 Physical damage to all players.
Colliding with a pillar also causes Sludgefist to suffer from Stunned Impact.
Stunned Impact: Sludgefist slams into a pillar, stunning him and increasing the damage he takes by 100% for 8 sec.

Chain Link: Sludgefist hurls chains at a target. After 5 sec the player is shackled to their nearest ally and suffers 2 Physical damage every 2 sec.
Moving 10 yards apart shatters the chain.

Shattering Chain: Moving 10 yards apart shatters the chain, inflicting 164973 Physical damage to both players and stunning them for 4 sec.

Destructive Stomp: Sludgefist crushes the ground beneath him, inflicting 32995 Physical damage to enemies within 20 yards, knocking them back.

Chain Slam: Sludgefist roots a player with strong chains.
After 4 sec that player is pulled towards Sludgefist along with all allies within 7 yards, slamming them for 210 Physical damage divided evenly between affected players.
Affected players are afflicted with Chain Bleed.
Stonequake: Sludgefist causes the stones of Castle Nathria to quake beneath players' feet, inflicting 12 Nature damage every 1 sec to players in the affected area and reducing movement speed by 25%.
Heavy Fists: Sludgefist's melee attacks strike the next closest target as well as his primary target. If no target is found, the primary target is struck twice.
