All the BlizzConline 2021 Announcements So Far - Day 1 Recap

The first day of BlizzConline 2021 has ended, but it was packed with major announcements and tons of news! Just in case you missed something in the flurry of activity, here's a recap of everything announced and all our coverage.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
Patch 9.1 is on the horizon, featuring a ton of new content and the terrifying reveal of the Jailer's newest agent.
Patch 9.1 is Chains of Domination
, featuring a new zone (Korthia), new Maw content, a new dungeon and raid, as well as Mythic+ and PvP Season 2.
Chains of Domination Cinematic
shows the Jailer's newest agent attacking the covenants directly.
9.1 Sanctum of Dominion Raid featuring the Tarragrue, Kel'Thuzad, and Sylvanas Windrunner
Megadungeons return in Patch 9.1, with the
8 boss Broker Trade City
, featuring a pirate dragon! Yes, you read that right.
Players will unlock flying in the primary (non-Maw) zones, along with
Covenant-specific flying mounts
Flying won't be available in the Maw, but players will be able to use
any of their mounts in the Maw
, rather than just the special Shadehounds.
Players will continue earning renown with their covenants, unlocking new
cosmetic Covenant armor sets
The new zone,
Korthia, will have several new rewards in 9.1
including the Spectral Steed and Severed Hand mounts!
Season 2 will reward new Vicious Gorm mounts
though Gladiator and Keystone Master mounts will be recolors from season 1.
The Wandering Ancient will become available and we got a look at the
making of the Shadowlands mount poll winner
Two new battle pets will be available, Bananas and Daisy the Sloth, both
supporting Doctors Without Boarders

showcased the awesome talents of Max Mittelman, Ray Chase, Debra Wilson, Alex Désert, and Josh Keaton bringing the characters of Warcraft to life!
Shadowlands: What's Next? Liveblog
recapped the story behind Patch 9.0, including Sire Denathrius, the Maw and Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

The Burning Crusade is coming to Classic!
The Burning Crusade Classic
was officially announced, releasing this year!
Players who want to use their existing characters can
copy Classic characters to TBC realms
Or if they want to start fresh, they can use
level 58 boosts for TBC Classic
However, there won't be a
gold cap on transfers

TBC Classic will have
, starting with Karazhan and ending with the Sunwell.
TBC Classic Beta Opt-In
Though there will be #SomeChanges, including

Diablo 4 has a new class, and an HD remaster of Diablo 2 has been officially announced! Diablo Immortal reviewed lessons learned from the technical alpha.
Diablo 2: Resurrected
is coming to PC & Console in 2021.

Alpha and Beyond
reviewed lessons learned from the technical alpha and mentioned a planned level 60 cap.
Hearthstone announced the Year of the Gryphon, the upcoming Forged in the Barrens expansion, and a new single-player experience called Hearthstone Mercenaries!
Overwatch announcements gave additional details on Overwatch 2, including hero appearance updates to reflect the passage of time, 7 tier talent trees for each hero and PvE campaign details, and a brief look at the newest railgun toting hero: Sojourn!
BlizzConline 2021 Opening Ceremony
showcased everything Blizzard has been working on so far.
President J. Allen Brack announced the
Blizzard Arcade Collection
of classic 90's games coming to PC & Console, free with any purchase of the BlizzConline bundles.
The first musical guest,
played a song which was quickly replaced with a hilarious overlay by Twitch's copyright protection, though the audio has since been restored.
The second musical guest,
the K-pop group MAMAMOO
surprised and everyone and generated quite the following on social media!
We got to see an amazing

featuring prints from each of their franchises.
